I’m a boxer and this foam roller has been perfect for my leg and back pain relief because it stimulates the blood flow after a hard workout. After a tough session in the ring, this roller helps me balance and recover faster, so I can get back to training in no time. It’s great for post-workout recovery after running, gym sessions, and even Pilates or yoga. Honestly, if you’re looking for a top-notch muscle relief tool, this Massage Roller is the way to go. Cheers!

I get a lot of back pain from sitting at a desk, and while this could stand to be a little smaller and a tiny bit softer, it is overall very effective. It does take some getting used to if you have never used one before, but I’m happy with it overall

I have used this roller for both stretching my back after a day slumped over the laptop and also after exercise to push out the lactic acid and relieve pressure.

It’s not comfortable, quite the opposite, but I don’t think it’s meant to be. The stiffness is perfect for me, it allows me to exert the desired pressure which a softer device couldn’t. Laying on the floor, I put this under my back and relaxed, you obviously have to be careful and listen to your body but the relief is amazing, you can feel the endorphine rush!

Similarly with my calves, after a long bike ride, they are almost solid with lactic acid. So I rest on my arms and roll the roller back and forth, it’s quite painful at the start, but as you work the muscles soften and you can feel the pain reducing. You can also this on your neck, in fact you can probably use it on most areas with muscle mass.

At the time of the review, this was proces at around 12, I think this is reasonable, and if you persevere it’s a small price to pay for the benefits it brings.

4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent for stretching and after exercise massage.

This Kayman Massage Roller is durable and made of high-density foam. I’m not going to say it is comfortable to use since it means to be firm, but it won’t hurt you unless you press against it too hard. Its textured surface ensures deep massage of tired muscle if you can find out the right pressure to roll over. It’s great for preparing/recovering the muscles in warm up/cool down section before and after exercise. The roller measures at appro. 33 x 13cm which is compact and lightweight for easy carrying around. It is perfect to use in the activity class or in the gym.

I suffer from muscle aches & pains in my upper legs & back so thought I would give this a go.

Having never used one before I was hoping it would come with some instructions of use but alas it did not. Not a massive issue as just jumped online for the information.

This is quite large and very solid which means it really penetrates the muscles which is exactly what I needed. I have only used it for a few days but can definitely feel the benefits.

The hollow centre makes it easy to carry around without compromising on rigidity and it comes in a variety of colours.

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice & solid

The choice of 2 lovely colours (purple and turquoise) plus black (always elegant) persuaded me to order this massage roller despite having always been a bit suspicious of them. The difficulty was to choose which. I got the purple, and I am not disappointed. Any of the three would beautify your home gym. The roller would need to be used at home, as it is not really compact, as claimed, and definitely not light-weight. However I have the impression its weight might make it all the more effective for massage.

The ad. praises the roller’s balance between firmness and comfort. I would say firmness scores 98%, comfort very little. Perhaps this is how foam rollers are meant to be. Certainly the ones at my gym are disconcertingly UN-comfortable. I don’t think this roller will be easily damaged or soon worn out. Indeed, this may be a forever foam roller!

Is foam rolling a fad which will quickly be almost forgotten? Is it really beneficial? I am happy to have the opportunity to find out.

The current price of 11.99 seems to me fair for such an attractive and durable piece of kit. With Free Returns, you can find out if foam rolling is really for you and see how impressive your choice of colour looks stood in a corner of your home gym, before committing yourself.

Foam rolling, the thing weightlifters love to hate… It DOES help massively, but oh my, it certainly hurts in the process.
This roller is no exception to the rule, its almost rigid grey nubs will pummel your fascia into behaving, and will do it neatly, and as it’s quite a heavy one you won’t get the problem you have with some other models, ie worrying you’ll fly off in the process.
Only thing that keeps me from giving it 5 stars is that at one of the ends, where the two sides of the hard rubber meet, there is a slight flaw in the ‘weld’ and it looks like it might start peeling off one another. I’ll update if that happens
