Tried many plastic microwave egg makers with various results, but this egg poacher is best ever product, perfect poached eggs at last, and can see them poaching through the transparent lid, FAB!

I had some of them soft plastic type cups for cooking poached eggs, I seemed to get different results at different times, this pan cooks really lovely uniform poached eggs every time, they come out of the cup holders very easily, I just rub a small amount of vegetable oil over the cup holder first, it says you can put it in the dishwasher personally I wouldn’t try that but I’m very happy and enjoying many poached eggs

This egg poacher cooks eggs very quickly. The handle on the top is nice to grip when removing the lid. The cups are metal but they do have plastic handles so attention must be used to make sure the water does not run dry or there could be a melting issue with the plastic parts. It does an excellent job of cooking eggs and is good value for money.

I’ve only knocked a star off, for the fact the pan on it’s own can’t really be used for many things other than scrambled egg. We tried doing pancakes in it and it just went wrong!

But as an egg poacher it works well, I’ve been making eggs in this for about a week and each egg that’s been made, has come out lovely!
I do add more water in the pan than what the instructions suggest though.
And to get the egg out I take a spoon around the edges then scoop the egg out.
We’ve had egg and waffles and breakfast sandwiches using this, so definitely a good purchase!

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersWhilst smaller than I had anticipated, the item caters well for our large eggs.
Instructions are clear. The results were pleasing however we did over cook on our first attempt; and I ate half before I took a photo.
Other than the fact that the small handles on the individual cups were bent slightly upon arrival due to the way the product is packed by the manufacturer, causing a tiny scuff on the top of the holder, losing this product one star; this is a mighty fine product that can be used as a pan for boiling or saut.
Tricky to get the eggs out at the end, we found a wooden / silicone spoon that’s flexible at the spoon end to be good.

4.0 out of 5 stars Small but effective.
