This is so beautiful design drive cover. Size is not accurate but fine. I used this one as underlay of my coffee machine. Easy to clean and looks so elegant on my kitchen shelf top. Price is good too. A perfect addition to my kitchen.
The design I ordered was a pretty, vintage clementine pattern, so I was a bit disappointed when I received a rather garish flowery design instead, but this hob cover is still very useful.
It is sturdy and well-made and as long as your hob isn’t actually switched on you can put it onto your hob when it’s still hot and it effectively blocks heat from coming through. You can then use it as extra worktop space to place items or even chop vegetables.
It grips the hob well, so I’m not worried it’s going to slide off, and it can also be used as a general mat to put on a table in the living room or dining room, and you can even iron small pieces of clothing on it!
When you’re not using it, it has a little loop so you can hang it on the wall out of the way.
It’s a little pricey, but very useful!
Bought this cover because cats like to lie on hob. Product just as advertised. Fits perfectly. Is quite sturdy and does not slip. Design is lovely and looks great. Would highly recommend.
This is a perfect mat for covering up a ceramic hob and giving you an extra working area in a small kitchen. I’ve been using it for a couple of weeks now, and am very pleased with it. It’s surprisingly heat resistant, non-slip and wipes clean. It’s also very easy to fold back and/or remove in order to access the hotplates.
The only reason I’ve knock a star off is that the design I ordered isn’t the design I received … the rather in-your-face flowers look out of place in my little kitchen. But from a practical point of view, it’s excellent.
Hob cover arrived well packed in a plastic bag. It good quality cover with beautiful flower design. It’s same as described. Size fits on my hob and saves the hob from scratches and spills. Easy to clean. I like it and definitely recommend to my friends.

I got this hob cover and it’s good. Protects my cooker well, stops scratches and spills. Heat resistant too, which is handy. Makes more space in my kitchen, keeps things tidy. Easy to clean, can go in dishwasher.
Remember not to put it on the cooker when it’s on.

It covers the entire stove and gives a good image.
The mat can be easily clean and it`s flexible. Unfortunately, cannot be placed while the ceramic stove is on or the heat hob is still hot, as underneath the mat is plastic.

At the time of review, the price was 36.99, which in my opinion is a bit expensive.

Actually better (and heavier) than expected, depsite it being at more of a ‘premium’ price than a simple hob cover.
The rubber material is of a decent thickness, and when laid on a flat surface it doesn’t move at all. The print (Pear Blossom in this instance) is also good quality, and can’t see this fading or rubbing off any time soon.
The mat comes arrives folded in a flat box, , but the creases (which aren’t that pronounced surprisingly) do come out after a short time. You can roll it up for storage, but in our case it’ll be kept out permanently… either covering the hob, or actually being used as a counter-top protector.
On a quality/value-for-money basis… 4-Stars.
The Kitchenraku Hob Cover is absolutely beautiful. The almost 3D Print artwork is amazing. It’s a great heat mat too. I usually have two metal rodded stands on top of my induction hob. They protect it but they render that space unusable except to just stick hot pans on, and they don’t look great after a while either. With this mat you can put a chopping board on top to use the space, you can use it as a quick / small ironing surface. I steam iron so that is quite handy to use it to reflect the steam back. You can put hot plates on for serving food from.
However its main purpose is to protect your Glass Hob – mine is an Induction Hob and they do need protecting because they can easily get scratched. I am a vine Reviewer so I didn’t get a choice on which colour or pattern I got, but I have a red and white kitchen so the one I was sent is perfect. I thought I would review and maybe put it away or pass it on. But no, it’s out on my counter every day. It’s a lovely piece of art in the kitchen, it is absolutely heat resistant and is great for putting your pans on after use. I think sometimes if you leave a pan to go cold on the induction Hob thats when you can get staining around the rim. This will stop that.
Plus I did do a video test to see if you can cook on the Induction Hob with the mat on, and you can, but I wouldn’t recommend it because this item is not advertised to do that. Some are, thats why I tried it. But actually It feels odd and why would you need to on this type of mat. As it is not advertised for that function I didn’t upload the video.
So, if you want a surface protector, a piece of art, somewhere to put your hot pans on and a small quick ironing / steaming surface – I highly recommend you get this item. I cannot see any fault with it at all. It does exactly what it says it does on the box.
We got this as we have recently upgraded the kitchen to induction hobs and wanted a heat proof cover to cover them when not in use as the Cat often jumps on to the side.
Pros:

– Very heat proof, we have used it for ironing
Cons:
– Odd design, a plain one would be better

When I first opened the box I was somewhat perplexed by the inclusion of a slapband. Being a man I hadn’t watched the video first. If I had, instead of watching it a day later, I would have saved myself a sleepless night pondering the slapbands use. For those men out there who have a similar scant regard for instructions, it’s used to secure the mat when not in use.
Made of rubber this Kitchenraku hob cover is superb at protecting against burns whilst the hob cools, and prevents scratches and damage to the fragile surface. This makes it a good hob cover. What makes it excellent is the art work on the cover. I love it! More than a hint of William Morris in the design. And this is where I have a small problem. I don’t want to place anything on it for fear of damaging the picture.
If the worst comes to the worst I’ll retire it from its hob duty and hang it on a wall.
This is a good quality hob cover which protects the hob surface from scratches and damage when not in use. It also increases my work top area so that I can place my pots and pans on top when not in use. It is thick and well made but I am not a big fan of the image. I was okay with it until my kid pointed out that it looked like a pair of bottoms – since then I have not been able to get the image out of my head!
This large silicone mat can really be put to good use. It’s heat resistant so great around the kitchen, used as a protector sheet to rest hot dishes or frozen food on. It’s non-slip so when in place it doesn’t move an inch and is safe when using the cutting board on top of it, acting as a worktop surface protector.
It is really made essentially to be used as a hob cover, as a protector and to provide more space in the kitchen
Direct contact with extreme heat however is to be avoided i.e. never place the pad on the hob whilst on. Also I would turn off the hob at the switch or plug if easy to do, to make sure it’s not turned on accidentally.
It’s easy to clean by wiping it with a damp cloth. Alternatively, it can be washed in the dishwasher as it is dishwasher safe.
The mat is quite thick and looks the sort of quality that will last. The pear blossom design is really pretty, giving a burst of colour in my kitchen. At 36.99 it is not the cheapest addition to the hob but it looks great quality and transforms the kitchen.

It’s a heat resistant mat to put onto your glass cooker top.
It looks nice and allows you to use j you put cooker top as an extra bit of kitchen without scratching the top.
It comes with a slap band so that when not in use you can roll it up and store it.
I don’t leave it on all the time but it’s useful to create counter space.
This mat for my cooker hob is amazing. Such a mice design and thick enough to fully protect the hob and fully covers the hob.
Mat rolls up when not in use and there is a magnetic strap which clicks together to hold the roll in place.

Having broken two glass tops hobs, in the past, this cover is going to prevent accidental damage from falling crockery. Is non-stick, phones away easily, doesn’t slip, wipes easily and is even dishwasher safe!
The fact that it’s heat resistant means that I will definitely be using it to take the creases out of some clothes at the last minute. Also, I really like the design: it brightens up the kitchen.
Nice and weighty the cover sits on the stove top and offers a nice level of protection, the floral pattern isn’t too loud and the size fits really well with an average size top. well finished and the two loops off the option for you to fix it in place if you want to.

Having tried this hob cover, I’m quite happy with it. It really does protect my cooktop from scratches and spills, plus it adds extra counter space in my kitchen. It can handle hot dishes too, which is handy. Cleaning is easy, either with a damp cloth or in the dishwasher. The anti-slip coating keeps it in place, and the bonus slap wristband helps with storage. Overall, it’s a useful addition to my kitchen!
I very rarely use my hob these days as I have a 9 in 1 Air frier which I use constantly. I’ve located it on my hob, but you get quite a lot of food splashes from it, so the hob constantly needs wiping down.
The cover itself feels robust and well made and mine includes pink and red flowers rather than pear blossom, which I think actually suits my kitchen better.
It fits beautifully on my induction hob and the air frier looks great on top.

Firstly I received a different design to review instead of the Pear blossom featured. I got one with bright flowers on and I must say I like it better!
It simply lays onto the hob to cover the rings, and adds a real splash of colour. It feels well made and it wipes over easily. It’s got a decent weight to it too and the lower layer is non slip.
All in all a nice addition, although the price is pretty hefty.
