Works for me i spend most of my time sim racing with aftermarket link cable. The headset will not charge while playing but will slowly drain which gives me more than enough time to spend sim racing.

This head strap feels great and fits perfectly. I tried the BoboVR and its not comfortable with the Quest 3 as the Quest3 has less weight/pull on the front vs the Quest 2 which is what it was designed for. Got this one for $25 which is a good and fair price.

This worked better than I expected to be honest, its not a bad choice at all if you are looking for a better head strap option for the Quest 3 than what comes stock. It’s relatively comfortable and fits well on my larger sized head. The best improvement is that you can flip the visor up at the front – much better than the original strap. I would recommend it, I’m happy with i

It’s really good. It’s comfy, but will need adjusting to have the back part slight lower under the head. But since quest 3 is lighter than quest 2, itll still be quite comfortable. It’s also easy to clean, just wipe off the sweat with a dry cloth. Easy to install as well

I ordered the Kuject Design Comfort Head Strap before having put on the Quest 3 for the first time. When I saw this “upgrade” in my recommendations I thought “why would you need that, is there something wrong with the stock head-strap”? I proceeded to do a bit of searching around the interwebs and found numerous complaints regarding the stock strap’s comfort level.

I decided to preemptively order this pro-style replacement before ever removing my new Quest 3 from its packaging, much less actually trying it on. Upon doing which I discovered that for me, the stock strap was perfectly comfortable. Even though the Kuject head-strap now served only to solve a non-existent problem, it deserved proper testing so I installed it per the included instructions — which were adequate if not overly detailed — and gave it a try.

From a comfort perspective, it’s fine — no better or worse than the stock head-strap — with one exception – I don’t like the way the plastic-leather pad covers feel on my scalp. Any additional comfort the extra padding may have given is offset by the “stickiness” of its cheap, plasticky covering material. Sadly, cheap materials are a theme with the Kuject strap.

Apart from the pads, the structural and mechanical parts are all made of very cheap plastics – the kind of brittle plastics that when sustaining a substantial enough impact, will likely crack rather than absorb the shock. With that in mind however, I didn’t have any issues with installation or function – the Kuject strap worked as it should have and is a bit easier to fit-adjust than the stock offering.

When all was said and done, the Kuject head-strap just wasn’t for me so I returned to the stock strap but that doesn’t mean it isn’t worth considering. If you dislike the stock strap then you may find the Kuject strap more to your liking. No, the materials aren’t premium — not even close — but you shouldn’t be expecting premium materials at the asking price. Though I do believe that the build quality goes a bit too far toward cost savings – a modest price bump with materials to match would have made for a better offering.

3.5 out of 5 rounded up. A tepid recommendation only for those who find the stock head-strap uncomfortable and are looking for a relatively inexpensive alternative.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersTiny box! And someone already attached 2 pieces together, making me think I was a piece short!!! Nope, all there. You put it together like Legos only seems very sturdy. I took the face mask off to put silicone onto it and only then while it was off, I put the short strip looped through. So far, very good and great price!
