This water resistant travel mat came in a polythene bag with no other packaging.
It is a good size for a small family picnic or seaside mat at 200cm x 200cm (6ft6″ x 6ft6″)
It is beautifully made, no defects or loose threads anywhere to be found.
The edge is finished with a black binding all the way round so it will not fray in use.
The mat itself is a quilted three layer construction with a water resistant black synthetic material at the base, a thin cotton interior and the printed water resistant top layer.
It rolls up and is neatly held by two Velcro pads in a webbing that is built in and includes a handle to carry it.
It looks great on the ground, much better than a couple of blankets or towels that will wick up any moisture!
It is very light and therefore easy to carry, adding this to a backpack is unlikely to break the camels back!
The only negative comment I can level at it is that it is rather thin, a bit more padding would make it a 5 star product every day of the week.
This will be a welcome and useful addition to out touring caravans onboard equipment, we can use it as a stylish rug in the awning and roll it up and take with us when we go out for a picnic!

I appreciate the design, it is different and very nice. I love the size. My old rectangular blanket did not let me move freely, even though it was 2 m long as well. This one is bigger and a bit lighter than the old one, but when folded both are similar size. I am happy with this purchase.
I really love this blanket. From the design to the really generous size. I’ve used it a lot, whether it be on a day out or just in the garden. Does take a bit of a knack to get it done back up, but apart from that it’s fantastic and really great value
Absolutely love this product. I’m using it ALL the time. I’m always hanging out in parks during summer so I this is great for regular usage. Some blankets you can use only once or twice and it gets really grubby really quick. My toddler spills food, drinks and all but it just doesn’t seem to get grubby easily. Putting it in the wash is easy as well, so even if it does it doesn’t really matter. Also love the pattern. Actually got compliments about it multiple times 🙂
The size is perfect for two to lie out on or have a spread of food out. Could fit 4, even 6 if needed.
The material is actually water resistant/repellent and could ‘boosted’ over time with waterproofing spray.
The underside is also waterproof and is easy to clean any dirt off.
It packs away quite small and has a carry handle which is useful.
Comfy, easy to clean and a great size.
