I’ve bought more expensive long leads in the past this one’s better quality by far! I got the orange 3meter lead for my son’s mini daxie, she walks to heel anyway regardless of her lead I use she’s at the last part of her adolescence she’s ramped up her cheeky behaviour recently so she’s not off the lead anymore.
This lead Is brilliant! We’ve took her out today in the pouring rain the lead didn’t end up being slippy to handle or have that gummy sticky texture when wet! I like it so much I’ve bought an even longer lead (5meters) for my bocker have a pack of 4 dogs which 2 are seniors going deaf & blind 🙁 so these will definitely get their use!! Both my seniors are well trained, recall on point, have zero interest in other dogs they just want to safely enjoy their walk without getting bothered.
I’ve been using this long lead with my spaniel pup for two months now, coupled with a JK9 harness, as we firm up his recall around distractions. Gives him the ability to range and run around a lot more near distractions, whilst still enabling us to have control if his head gets the better of him.
Sturdy and firm lead with no stretch, allows for direct feedback of corrections/pulls from the handler.
The synthetic material is almost like rubber and is super easy to clean after use with just a simple rinse being enough most of the time so suitable for muddy walks and trips to the beach. Dries well and doesn’t end up smelling musty like webbing or rope.
Feels good in the hand and coils/loops well when in use. Occasional tangles if not put away properly or just dropped in a heap, but these are down to the user and are easily unraveled as knots don’t pull tight.
Easy to stand on to prevent your dog running towards a distraction or hazard.
All in all, very satisfied with this product.
Bought this item to replace the one I had. My previous training lead wasn’t waterproofing and sucked all the water from the ground/grass up. It then slowly dripped the water onto whatever surface it was left on. This item is great as it doesn’t hold any water and can be wiped clean. I also had problems with the previous one constantly getting tangled into knots. I haven’t owned this one for long enough to know for sure, but it doesn’t seem to have this issue from what I can tell so far. The only negative I would have is that it’s quite narrow – as it’s being used on a puppy who likes to grab hold of leads etc, I just hope it isn’t easily chewed through

Its very tough! – at first she tried chewing through it a few times but it is only a few small frays.
