This camera housing is a solid piece of kit. The product closes firmly and there is no movement of the camera in the case whatsoever. The buttons work really well and are responsive.
The plastic housing is robust and solid, with a clear surface to not interfere with the view from the camera. Time would tell, that this will continue with use, because it is plastic and would not be as resilient unless it were glass.
There are no leaks from any of the sealed areas, including the closure and the buttons on the enclosure. The case comes with a clip connector, I assume to connect to a helmet or similar. I was pleasantly surprised that you could still hear the sound recorded through the camera even with the case on. I have had problems with my action camera leaking around the lens cover, so this additional protection is a must for me.
Good fit for GoPro 11.
Lets be honest most of us never going to use it to 60m diving depth so no real way of testing extremes.
But given most rec divers will be at least 18m qualified and GoPro is rated beyond that really looking at this a protective case.
Certainly it’s more akin to a phone cover/screen protector. Will give that nice bit of protection to take the edge off a bash.
My only concern is it’ quite hard plastic so will scratch. So if you scratch over the sections covering lens it will get in way of filming.
However it is very competitively priced to be worth it for that extra bit of protection.
