As with the mini 3 pro. The camera NEEDS these filters for brighter days. This well presented set of 4 filters includes a decent range of strengths AND a polarising filter. The storage case is compact with the lenses fitting snugly in solid foam cutouts. The fit of the filters to the camera is good with them rotating into position accurately.

This set of filters arrive in a really nice looking, Neewer branded cardboard box (sealed in a plastic film), that would be more than suitable should you be wishing to give it as a gift. Inside the box the four filters are well protected in a handy, protective case. A small cleaning cloth is also provided.
These filters are compatible with the DJI Mini 4 Pro drone. They feel well made, and fairly robust, whilst remaining very lightweight. They are also nice and easy to attach and remove.
In the kit you get one Circular Polarizer (CPL), and three Neutral Density (ND) filters.
The CPL filter is great when when filming over water, snow, forests, around lots of glass, or anywhere where reflections and glare are an issue. It cuts down on the reflections and allows the natural colour and detail that those reflections were hiding to come through in the image. However, you do need to be aware of the angle of the sun to the lens, to get the desired effects, which can be tricky when using drones.
The ND filters limit the amount of light transmission through the lens. Whilst they have uses in all lighting conditions, they are especially useful when shooting photos in bright sunlight as they help prevent over exposure, as well as bringing out richer colours and tones. When shooting video, they are also great for slowing the shutter speed for smoother looking movement or to introduce some motion blur.
The ND16 filter in this kit filter reduces the light by the equivalent of 4 Stops, the ND 64 filter by 6 Stops, and the ND 256 filter by the equivalent of 8 stops.
In use the filters worked well. The optics are good, and I noticed no discernable loss in image quality. The CPL was easy to adjust with a simple twist of the lens. The addition of the filters allowed us to both enhance our shots, and also get shots on days and in locations we might not otherwise have been able to. The protective case was also easy to use and provides a safe and compact way of carrying the filters.
In conclusion this is a well made, easy to install set of filters at a reasonable price.

The ND filters are ND16 (4 stops), ND64 (6 stops) and ND256 (8 stops) which is sufficient for all but the very brightest of days or indeed if you want to capture very long exposure photos.
Strong ND filters often result in a colour cast, even with the top end and expensive brands. The colour cast using the ND16 filter is so slight that I need to go pixel peeping to see it. The colour cast using the ND64 filter is stronger, and also noticeable however it is easily removed with a little bit of editing. The colour cast using the ND256 filter is strong and very noticeable. It is possible to reduce the colour cast with some aggressive editing but I have yet to remove it completely. The colour cast is the only reduction in image quality using these filters as the contrast doesn’t suffer and there is no reduction in sharpness. The trick is to learn to embrace any resultant colour cast, after editing of course, and all is good.
There is also a CPL filter in this kit, which I am not a fan of. CPL filters have to be at a certain angle to the sun to create a polarising effect and achieving this angle when using a drone seldom happens. Not getting this critical angle often results in strange effects which can be edited out of a photo but ruins video footage. Personally, I don’t think CPL filters are suitable when using a drone therefore I will not use it.
At 35.99 (at the time of review) these filters are very well priced and represent good value for money.
Overall the Neewer filters are good. They are well made, they fit nice and they achieve what they are designed to do, i.e. demand slower shutter speeds to get the right exposure. There will be a colour cast using any other than the ND16 but the effect can be reduced, and indeed total removed using the ND64, using editing software.
Overall these night vision googles aren’t good. The build quality is poor, the video quality is below par and the photo quality is terrible. Consequently, I wouldn’t recommend them.
