This is a great charging station especially if you have multiple controllers that keep dying or when you just want to charge a controller while watching a film or TV show.
The lights indicate when the controllers are being charged with an orange light and go blue when the controller is fully charged (see photos) I enjoy using this product even when I’m not charging my controllers as it looks neat at the end of a night instead of leaving my controllers around and at risk of getting broken by my pets or family members.
As someone who plays his PS5 a lot, and relies on fully charged controllers, this was perfect for me. Firstly it looks great, and perfectly complements my PS5. It’s pretty compact, lightweight, and helps me tidy things up as no more trailing charging cables.
Most importantly it charges quickly, and it lets you know when the controller is fully charged.
Great bit of gaming kit.
The product is extremely well built, very sturdy, lightweight and doesn’t take up much space, I’ve been using it on and off all day today and it has charged my controllers in 2 hours 40 mins. It’s cleared all the cabling off of my desk.
The LED on the front changes colour once the controller has finished charging, there is also an on/off switch on the reverse to turn the LED strip light on or off.
This is a fantastic product and a game changer.
I have tried three different chargers over the past month to see which one suits me best, and this is the one I have stuck with. I had one with a timer so that you didn’t over charge you handset but that meant if you forgot to set the timer you could be causing damage to your controller. This one has a built-in intelligent protection chip, your controllers are prevented from overload, overcurrent, overvoltage and short circuit, thus extending the life of your controllers. For me that is a winner winner. the charger is small and neat and I have mine sat on top of my PS5 as you can see in the pictures. Both controllers are on charge whenever you don’t need to use them again this is a bonus for me because I was forever forgetting to put the controller on charge. Now I can see if it is not on charge straight away. No more running out of power on one controller only to pick the spare and find it had not been charged the last time you swapped them over. AAArrrrhhh The charger comes with a USB-A to USB-C cable which you can either plug into a suitable electrical socket taking power directly from the supply or like me I have it pugged into the back of the PS5 and just left there to charge when the PS5 is on standby. the Charger looks neat with its lights which are very straightforward. Blue controller images which turn red when charging the controller and there is a blue line around the front face of the charger which illuminates when the controllers are being charged. It charges both controllers within 2.5 to 3 hours when plugged into the PS5. In Summary this is a neat little charger that will help you to make sure you have 2 controllers ready to go whenever you need them. It looks good sitting on top of the playstation and the lights are a nice touch, not too over bearing. I recommend this charger.
After buying a similar charging stand for the PS4. I thought I would purchase one for my PS5. After seeing so many different charging stands available for the PS5 I just decided to find one that was cost-effective & had a Discount/Voucher listed on it & was sold with Amazon Prime! Just in case I needed a refund lol.
After using the device for a few days. I can say I’m happy with what I bought. Mainly because unlike my charging stand for the PS4! This Charging stand actually holds my controller in place & charges my controller within a few hours. Instead of slowly drifting off throughout the night.
I also liked the fact that a change in the light on the front of the charging stand from blue to orange 😀 Shows me when the controller is actually charging! Instead of using a standard PS5 cable that stops charging my controller halfway through the night lol. Plus it is a nice place to keep an eye on my PS5 controller! Instead of not knowing where I last put my controller! haha
What I was surprised about was the length of the UDB-C Cable! As to be honest I was expecting the length to be about the size of a pencil cut in half lol. Thankfully the cable is a really decent length! Meaning I can connect the charging stand to my PS5! Instead of my USB mobile plug, I have on my desk.
Overall: It does what you want it to aka it charges your controller overnight or during the day so you can spend your entire day gaming! Knowing you don’t have to run a big cable from your PS5 to your controller & trip over it! When you are walking passed your console! Which has never happened to me! Since the last time I did it lol.
This PS5 controller charging dock is specially designed for PS5 controllers and ps5 controller edge, It is an ideal PS5 accessory for your Playstation 5 controller. While charging there is blue atmospheric light around, quite cool design for a PS5 Controller Charging Station. On the screen of the charging station is the LED indicator for charging status. Orange light means that the controllers will charge, the light will change to blue once the controllers are fully charged or standby. This PS5 Charging Station can also be used as a controller holder, so you can save space and organize everything neatly.
Comes nicely boxed and with a USB-C cable to hook it up.
Runs off a charging port from whatever is available although its designed to only suck in the 500ma from a normal usb and not a faster charger if available.
Its light but with enough size to be stable and the ps5 controller plugs in with a beep to say its charging.
With the power being so split it is a slower charger but its designed to be charged when the consoles not in use so cant be faulted.
