This is a candle that comes nicely and securely packaged in a small presentation box. The box is well sealed in plastic wrap, so you can’t smell the fragrance until you open the outer wrapper. The candle is well protected inside the box, so it arrived undamaged, but as a result the the candle is a bit smaller than you might expect from the size of the box. The scent from the candle is very strong, and smells lovely – both when you open the box, and also when you burn the candle.
Would make a perfect gift.
I love scented candles and lavender so when I saw this I couldn’t resist getting it.
I only get natural soy wax candles as the ones made from paraffin release harmful chemicals into the air so this soy wax candle is perfect and very good value at the price. It comes in a lavender coloured box that looks quite high end but the printed words on the box shows its price point somewhat.
The candle comes with a wooden lid which has the company logo surrounded by foliage on it which looks quite rustic and nice.
If like me you just read “Lavender” in the title, then you will be surprised to hear that this candle’s scent is actually made up of nine scents, they are: Vanilla, Cardamom, Liquorice, Lavender, Honeysuckle, Juniper, Oak Moss, Cedar and Vetiver. It’s quite a complex scent but is fresh and relaxing!
I could tell the candle wax was quality when I saw it (I’m a veteran candle user lol) it burns slowly and evenly and if you believe the description you should get 40 hours from it, I think it could be even more!
I may be a bit slow but I don’t really understand the Mum themed joke on the side of the candle but I think that anyone receiving the candle will be so happy about the quality that they’ll hardly notice the joke…
To sum it up, it’s a very good quality candle for the price!
I like to have a scented candle burning in the hearth in the dark months. This one has a stronger scent than most but not too overpowering. It also burns down evenly, which is important: some cheap candles burn down the middle by the wick, then sputter out when the high walls of wax around them won’t let them breathe. This one is burning well. I’m afraid I’ve turned it round so as not to see the rather silly message.
This comes in a nice presentation box.
It’s well padded inside.
It is however, somewhat smaller than the outer packaging.
As soon as you open the box you can smell the candle.
The scent is strong.
The scent of roses can be smelt without a doubt.
The candle burns easily and gives off a very strong scent..
This would make an excellent gift idea.
It also comes with a small card inside that you could write a note on.
