Good value for money.good quality.easy to set up. All work except for the bp function which seems to be stuck on the same reading all the time. Overall looks smart.
Been wanting a pedometer to just track steps, but came across this during prime offers & was an amazing buy, Bluetooth to update your daily activities, heart, blood pressure, messages etc but i only use for steps, heart rate .. but would definitely recommend this watch water proof in shower, not good for baths, comfortable strap.. I really love mine hubby wants 1 now
Does more than expected. Connect to phone via Bluetooth. Can view messages on all apps and see incoming calls but cannot reply or answer. Works well in water as I swim with it. Cost effective fitness tracke
Delivery was excellent and ahead of the scheduled delivery date. Set up and linking it to the App (which is necessary to operate some of the functions) was straight forward and completed within five minutes. I’m very satisfied with the watch and all it’s functions, especially the graphs generated from your blood pressure, heart rate and blood oxygen levels. These can only be viewed when you link the watch to your phone via the App.
I wanted a smart watch but not a super fancy one. So after checking many reviews I decided to buy this. It is fine for me as it’s not too complicated to use. The only problem I have with it is the sleep function. I work nights but doesn’t record my sleep during the day. It only records my sleep on my nights off at normal night time. I would have given 5 otherwise.
Good features, comfortable strap. Various watch faces to chose from on the app. Works well with email, messages ,heart rate and blood pressure readings. For the price, this is a very good piece of kit for the price you pay. Good quality display and connects easily. Recommended.
It is good quality and significant for a birthday gift
It comes with instructions and is easy to follow. I will be purchasing more for birthday gifts. It came on time and was delivered with care
I needed a new stopwatch for my runs and as this watch was about as cheap as any of the wearable stopwatches I thought I may as well go for it. I really don’t know how accurate the health measures (pulse, heart rate) are but the sleep measure seems to overestimate the time I’m actually asleep. I used it for a parkrun and it gave a distance measure of 4.86km so not that far out and understandable given that I tend to shuffle at speed rather than run. The only problem is it’s given me a red rash on my wrist, both from the back of the watch and the wrist strap. So I’m now only really using it as the stopwatch I wanted in the first place, but it’s a bit of fun and amazing the technology they can squeeze into a watch now.
I bought this watch because I needed something that would track steps and walk distance. For the price I really didn’t expect much, and after reading some of the reviews I wasn’t holding out much hope and contemplated cancelling the order. Upon arrival I unpacked the watch and put it to charge, and left it to fully charge before doing anything with it. Set up of the watch is super easy, the Ap is good. Lovely selection of clock faces, including an option to add your own photo which I like as this isn’t a free feature on Fitbit. The heartbeat monitor is relatively accurate, I doubt it is all the time but my husband and I have both measured it along side the watch and it seems fairly accurate for the most part. I also did a 6km walk, although the app did not track the route like it does on Apple Watches, it did track the distance, the time it took, my heart rate, steps and calories burned. It has some nice features, it’s a basic version of expensive watches and for the price I have no complaints complaints about its function of a ‘smart’ watch. It also tracks sleep, which I think it’s quite accurate, has the weather, many sport tracking options, blood pressure, blood oxygen, alarm and messages from Facebook, WhatsApp etc and a stopwatch!
My watch arrived last Friday , it’s now Tuesday and the battery is on 39% , I’ll likely get the use out of it tomorrow before having to charge again – 5 days continuous use is way better than I expected. My only complaint is that the screen just doesn’t stay on long enough, which is quite annoying. The longest option to keep it on for is 15 seconds which is a bit of a let down but that is my only true complaint at this point in time. I guess we shall see if it stands the test of time – I’m not holding hope for longevity but I am surprised by the watch so far so who knows!
I like that the steps are accurate, battery life is good, but not happy about the blood pressure reading as it’s way out when compared with medical BP monitor but not important to me, overall very happy with the watch, very comfortable to wear and a decent size for my small wris
In comparison to some of the branded watches, i don’t think there is not much that this watch cant do.
A nice sleek design with a very simple to use app on your phone. Dont waste money buying the expensive brands when this does all the work at a fraction of the price and the battery life is brillia
I’ve had this watch around a month.
Pros:
– Good value for money
– Looks similar to more expensive brands when the face isn’t lit
– The general quality is good.
– The strap colour options are great.
– it counts my steps well.
Inbetween:
– it can be hard to work as there are limited instructions around the functionality/features
– It has quite basic functions (suits me as I only wanted these)
– I chose not to link mine to my phone so haven’t tried the messages/phone options.
Cons:
– It doesn’t seem to recognise swimming laps/lengths
– It measures in km
– I don’t know if it works better with certain strokes as I’ve yet to swim in a lane session but it kept telling me I’d only done a few minutes swimming despite me doing several lengths of a 25m pool. I did 40 laps in half an hour and it said I’d swum for 8 mins and not much at all in that time.
– I wish the strap wasn’t plastic
I got this on sale for 19.99 so apart from the swimming issue I think it’s great for the price.
I was very surprised by the quality and functionality of a watch for this price. I planned to spend more but wanted a strap that wouldn’t discolour quickly. The red strap is soft, comfy and looks good. The battery lasts ages, I rarely have to charge the watch although I use it without wrist sense as I find that annoying. My only complaint is it only supports a few alarms and I like to use them to remind me to do things during the week. My old watch could have as many alarms as I wanted but then that one cost more, had a horrible strap and the face fell out randomly, so swings and roundabouts 😉
This watch does score highly with me, it cost less than the one it’s replacing and is a better watch by far. As you can see from the photo, you can upload your own custome face pic from the app which will find pics on your phone.
The “toys” are reasonably accurate blood oxygen, I’m showing 87 – 98% The blood pressure was close to what reading I get at the doctor’s. I’m a little dubious of the step counter, I shall do a test when I go for a walk, the watch vs a sports app I know to be accurate.
My one huge gripe is that any messages that display to the watch, the point size is so small I can;t read them even with glasses on.
All in all, I’d recommend it to anyone willing to treat the measurement devices as a guide. After all, you buy a watch to read the time and it does that admirabley. Links to the Glory Fit app available from the Google and Apple stires for free. I actually like the app, it is easy to use and was the one I used with the old watch.
I’m recovering from a brain injury, I’ve just started walking again & have been using an app on my phone to track steps/distance etc but I’m not a teenager so I don’t carry it around with me everywhere, plus the step count wasn’t very accurate, so I thought I’d give this watch a try. I’ve had it for several days and so far I’m delighted with it.
In terms of accuracy, for me, the step counter is very good, the o2 measurement is spot on (compared to a medical device) as was the pulse, the blood pressure monitor reads 2% too high/5% too low sys/dia but it’s consistently so when measured against an A&D Medical machine, I can live with a little mental maths for the absolute convenience. The app you have to download on your phone to get the most out of the watch records each time your BP is taken and monitors/records your pulse rate. It also provides info about your sleep patterns. I think it should go without saying that the watch function is perfectly accurate.
The watch came loaded with 5 or 6 fairly jazzy faces to choose from, none of which I was particularly keen on, but there are about a hundred different ones available to download on the app. I’m running android, it took a few minutes to sync/transmit a watch face to the phone. Rather bizarrely the app kept crashing when I tried downloading new watch faces whilst the phone was charging but was fine if it wasn’t on charge, probably to do with my ancient phone.
Setting the watch up from new was easy and quick. It came 75% charged and took about 10 minutes to fully charge on the neat magnetic ‘thimble’. You can QR code the app from the instruction leaflet or just go on whatever app store you use to get Glory Fit. If you are running Android then it’s apparently important to let the app pair to your device rather than doing it with your phone first. The instruction leaflet is in a tiny font, I found it far easier to download the pdf version, a link for which should be on this page somewhere.
It won’t do a lot of the things that vastly more expensive even smarter wearable devices will do, but for me it represents excellent value for something which is almost exactly fit for purpose.
Well, for the money, this was okay. It has lasted a year. The watch still works, but the strap bolt/pin has gone. Maybe it’s replaceable, but the time spent searching for a spare (not on Amazon, may not be anywhere), ordering, etc is what? An hour? More? In that time I earn enough money for a new one. Not much of a minus point for this review, as I often lifted the body away from my wrist (to clean underneath) without undoing the strap. A top end watch probably could handle such a thing, but this? Maybe, maybe not.
Battery life is excellent. It’s *possible* to get more than a week out of it, but I used the watch to actually tell the time quite often, and a bright screen setting is a battery drainer!
As for the ‘apps’/features, about what I expected at this price range. While I see not everybody agrees, I found the step and pulse counters okay in terms of function/accuracy. Some of the other features, not so much…..
Before spending hundreds of pounds on a named smart watch, I thought I would try out a budget one and see what kind of use I would make of it.
This watch is paired with a fairly simple to use phone app.
It tells the time.
Heart Rate monitor and hydration monitor are pretty spot on.
The blood pressure monitor is not, perhaps because of where it is worn but consistently 20/10 out. This is not really much of an issue because if I subtract those numbers it matches my calibrated device exactly.
The steps monitor is strange. I get a lot of credit for steps that are actually knitting and crochet stitches, but in exercise mode it gives results very much like other sports devices.
My favourite feature is the sleep monitor. I have learned a lot and it is very accurate.
My second favourite feature is that I can play around in the app settings to change the watch display.
It is easy to charge and has a decent battery life.
My only negative was the watch strap. The silicon was soft and lovely but my skin hated it so it has to be replaced with a leather strap, though it is a quick release strap so very easy to do.
I am still having fun with this watch and at that price , I’m sure you will too.
I bought this to replace a smart watch that was more than twice the price but had stopped working after only two months. I wasn’t expecting much but this little watch works really well and better than the more expensive watch ever did. It was easy to set up with the Glory App.
I wanted to use this for receiving messages and that works very well but it is a small watch and so the text is small, perfectly readable. Other features like the blood pressure and pulse seem reasonably close to a traditional home blood pressure monitor and I have not had chance to test them against a medical device, I don’t think most users would buy this watch as a medical device. Charging is easy with a connector that fits across the whole watch back. The battery life is good, I have been charging every three days but the battery has not been empty then.
There are two small issues,
1) the menu has only messages and settings shortcuts so you have to scroll left or right quite a few times to access the music control for example,
2) The online watch faces seem to be aimed at children, for example a grey background face with all the main data to hand has an astronaut spinning around in the centre.
Taking into account the price point, useful apps and good battery life I think that this is a very good basic smart watch and I would buy it again.
