    1. Noise cancellation isn’t that great however adequate for a small office
    2. Build quality is not great, they feel cheap.
    3. Boom Mike is good
    4. A bit hard to pair with my laptop but that could just be me
    5. I’ll get back to you with a 3 month review.

What can I say, Perfect earbuds, amazing battery life of 12hrs+, Ambient sound cancellation is fantastic as well as the pass through modes. Mic is also very very good in general and not just for earbuds.
Comfort I have never felt in earbuds before, just generally the best earbuds I have ever used and look forward to using them for many years to come.

Bought this for my Daughter purely for PC gaming and she loves it. The main positive is it’s very lightweight so extremely comfortable to wear, but the sound quality is spot on and the ability to mute your speech by simply moving the microphone fully upwards is a neat function.

She now also uses it to listen to music playing via her Laptop while wandering around the house, so not something we bought it for does it’s proving good enough as a standard wireless headset also.

One thing to note, it only connects via a dongle and does not have bluetooth connectivity, so only really useful for laptops and PCs, but we knew this at the time of purchase and as it was just for gaming it was never going to be an issue for us.

Great product and proving to be a great buy.

There are better headsets out there but for the price this is pretty awesome. Got it for our son and he’s stoked! The sound quality is excellent, really close to my Sony Pulse, mic is clear and build quality looks like it will last.

Connecting cable to the controller (there’s no wireless connectivity on this) means you don’t run out of charge mid game which is excellent. The only downside is that the cable is permanently attached to the headset so when it breaks it’ll be a pain to fix.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good value for money

This Sony headset is perfect for our teenager gaming on the PS5. It comes in a branded box suitable for gifting.

The headset is lightweight, the ear padding is comfortable, you can wear these for hours, as he often does, with no issues. The battery life is a reported 28 hours and I haven’t had any complaints from him so far. We really like the quick charge feature for those moments that he forgot to charge it. 10-15minutes quick charge and you get 3hours of battery life!

The sound quality is brilliant as you would expect from Sony. For gaming it’s great, you get lost in the game and you can hear so much. The volume is controlled via a wheel on the headset and it’s really responsive. The microphone has a great feature that when you push it up it mutes your microphone, pull it down it engages it. It picks up your own voice over potential background noise where you’re playing.

It comes with a USBC charging cable, 3.5mm audio and a USB lead for the PC.

    This is an excellent headset.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersTried many headphones wireless and wired from razor, dell, corsair, beats, buds and over-ear and finally found the right headset.

The over-ear pieces block out all background noise (for the most part). SOund quality is great. The material on the ear pieaces i’m not sue what it is but feels like pillows. Super soft, I havn’t used for a extensive periods but I get the feeling this will be ideal for long sessions.

Microphone is very good. While on a work call with TV and kids in background they said they couldn’t hear any of it. Only my voice. Good quality voice too.

Overall head gets full marks. Worth every penny.

The only 1 downside for some (not me) is that its not true wireless. You cannot connect via bluetooth, you connect through a dongle they provide making this less ideal if you planned to use it on phone/laptops and PC and swap between them. I don’t think its possibel to get this level of quality with true bluetooth.

Ok so I don’t normally do reviews but this headset is great however there are a few things that annoy me one the headset is not very tight on your head meaning it can fall of quite easily second the ear cushions are far to soft they push all the way in and there is barely any stabity however the headset is ok hopefully lasts awhile

So we brought these for my son as they are wireless for him to move between his pc and his tablet with them to discover when we opened the box that they are not entirely wireless as they can only connect to the pc using the dongle provided and this then means they only way they can connect to the tablet is through the jack cable.

We can’t dispute the quality of them because they are fantastic I just wish we had realised they were dongle connection only

The best ps5 headset I have had so far, however it is not as loud as You would expect. The sound is clear, the muffs are covered with nice and soft material so there is no comfort problems after several hours of wearing them. The ANC does the good job, however if there is really loud outside noise You will still hear it. My team mates said that my voice is much clearer compared to the pulse 3d headset so that’s a good point too. Battery life is excellent, I play about 4 hours a day and have to recharge them once a week so 28 to 30 hours on max loudness and anc on.
The bad thing is there is no native ps5 app to adjust settings for this headset. I paid 179 during black friday and highly recommend them at this price.

When I say it sounds better than expected, I mean in terms of general tasks such as online calls, videos and music. The equaliser within the app is a nice touch, too. While I wouldn’t say the sound is better than headphones designed for listening to music, you can tell that it has a similar sound profile to their other headphones.

The headphones are surprisingly light, but don’t feel too cheap. They are also really comfortable, and the pads do a very good job of attenuating surrounding noise – I was shocked when I just put them on and how quiet it was.

I do like the volume rotary encoder, but personally, I don’t feel much for the game chat button. Your mileage may vary. The microphone can be twisted upwards to keep it out of the way when not in use, and when in use, has decent flexibility, i.e., you can contort it into funny shapes, and it, for the most part, keeps its shape.

The surround sound is nice to have, but I’m not sure if it’ll be a novelty or something I’ll use in every game which enables it, especially as there’s a little hassle setting it up. Obviously, as there’s only one driver in each cup, the 3D effects are done via digital jiggery-pokery, changing the frequency response of sounds, and honestly, I don’t think it’d make much of a difference in-game, especially since it’s not working with the game but rather ‘guessing’ what the correct response would be based on your ear shape – it makes you take photos of your ears and then creates a 3D sound profile off of that.

Overall, I think this is a very good pair of headphones, but that is assuming that you’re willing to install the software and play with taking photos of your ears and settings etc. If you’re on a Mac or don’t plan to install anything, then the main features of this unit aren’t really accessible.

very comfortable and decent price. audio quality is good enough for gaming and ok for music. only headset that doesn’t hurt my head when i wear it because of the light clamping force and swivel. driver wall deep enough so my ears dont touch the plastic

I bought these to use with a PS5 and a PSVR2. Setup was super easy. The audio quality is a significant improvement on the ear buds that are supplied with the PSVR2, especially with the 3D effect which is quite convincing. I can where them comfortably for a long time. The only thing that stops me from giving it 5 stars is the price. There are other options for cheaper that give the same comfort and audio quality. Still a recommended set of headphones for my usage.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersHad these for about 3 months now, so far pretty pleased with them. I use them for the PS5 mainly and overall they do a good job. The headset cushions are quite comfortable, they gel nicely to my ears, sound quality is excellent playing COD has now become more enjoyable I can hear every footstep, weapons been fired are so clear i now feel more immersed in the action. Voice chat is clear and precise I have had no issues with the microphone everybody can hear me clearly. The build quality is good I dropped my headphones multiple times and yanked the 3.5mm jack many times.
Overall very happy with the quality of this product in the near future my upgrade to the H7 soon.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Gaming Headse

    Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI bought these for 2 reasons;

    1. I wanted a headset that was comfortable whilst wearing glasses. And these do the trick. So much so that sometimes I just use these to listen to music to at home when I don’t want to disturb anyone else. No faults at all for comfort.

    2. To use discord whilst playing PS5. Now I know PS5 has discord chat, but it’s rubbish. There’s no interface on the PS5 and it disconnects frequently. With these I can connect via Bluetooth to my PS5 and my iPhone, and join the server chat on my iPhone, getting the full functionality of both PS5 and Discord. Works a charm!

Set up was super easy, they look neat, sound quality is very good and they last a fair amount of time on one charge.

The only downside, but this is really a PS5/Sony issue, is the mute button on the controller doesn’t mute the mic. You can easily mute yourself by pointing the mic up though, and the must button doesn’t work for any headset currently so not a game changer, just a little annoying.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersGot these for gaming, the 3D audio and I hate recharging wireless stuff all the time and don’t need wireless stuff as I do all my gaming at a desk.
They’re very comfy, adjustable, simply to use and compatible with both the PS5 and PC.

They plug into the PS5 controller’s headphone slot between the sticks so it doesn’t take up a USB slot. Just plug in and you’re set. You can use the PS5 to customise their setting further if you wish.

On PC you plug the jack into a USB adapter then plug the USB into the PC. Both the adapter and and headset itself have a reasonably long cable so unless you’re planning to play far from your PC, you should be fine. Once connected you can use them “as is” or you can download an app by Sony that allows further customisation like sound profiles which can be set for each app/game you play. The app also allows you to link to a mobile app used to take a photo of your ear to create an audio configuration for the 3D audio unique to your ears. This mobile app is only used the one time to make the configuration and never again. If you care about Sony owning a photo of your ears, you don’t need to use the app to enjoy the headset. The app may have trouble loading the terms of service. Wait a week or 2 as they’re probably updating the terms or something.

As for sound quality, it’s really good. The 3D audio is a game changer for improving immersion and can be tactical as sounds coming from behind sound like they’re actually behind you. It’s like have a surround sound speaker setup on your head but much more detailed and accurate soundscape.

You’re probably wondering how this compared to the H7 or H-WhateverTheNumberIs models, which are the more expensive. They all have 3D audio, which is for me the main selling point. The other 2 models are wireless and have noise cancellation functions, which depending on your setup might be important, and the most expensive one has leather on the earphones. The H3 has a soft cotton-like nylon on the earphones but it’s very comfortable regardless. While it doesn’t have noise cancellation, the H3 still blocks out most noise anyway and I prefer being able to let some noise through in case someone needs to talk to me IRL anyway.

I haven’t used the mic much so can’t comment on the quality of the audio it sends to others.

Connects easy just put the dongle in and make shore the switch is on PS5 and turn on the headset and PS5 connects right away.
Ok…. No EQ setting on the PS5 home screen and no inzone setting in the ps5 menu. Also no Apple app to adjust the headset (Windows only) at the moment so i hope this being a headset for the PS5 they sort this out quickly as people can update their headsets including my self.

The packing is wonderful and done very well but the cable is very so i got the ugreen usb-c to usb-c 3m data cable and it works perfect so it can go in the usb-c slot on the ps5 and charge while using the gamepad wired at the same time in the normal usb slot at the front. https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B085G3R8VY?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1

All in all very happy i just hope they add features on the PS5 to adjust the EQ levels as that would solve the apple app issue. But i also hope for the apple app so i can keep it up to date and sounding great.

No actual instructions, just some diagrams inside the lid (once you connect it, it makes sense) but I usually manage to work out how to get something up & running or put together.

These are great; comfortable weight, encase my ears rather than squash them which small round ones do. (I game for more than 6 hours a day, and the small ones mean I have to give the cartilage regular rest.)
There’s a tad too much bass, but I’ll either get used to it, or see if my TV can let me adjust it. If it’s deliberate to help with the noise cancelling, then fair enough; rather that than hear stuff I’ve bought them to eliminate.

I bought these as my neighbour is noisy and there’s no soundproofing so I can hear everything even with ear plugs jammed in; every cough, every laugh, every word, door slamming, dog barking, hammering up & down the stairs, hair dryer, microwave oven ya de ya… so, clearly I really don’t want to hear any of it and don’t see why I should have my TV on painfully loud for me in order to drown them out; and it doesn’t help much anyway.
