I am not convinced on this having more power but as far as sound quality , this unit has a tad bit cleaner highs , but the boom 2 is the superior winner here . This is not a bad unit at all. It still sounds great but the size of the boom 2 vs this completely trumps in all aspects .

Me gusta por la duracin de la batera mnima distorsin muy porttil. Lo compr para or msica en la recamara y la verdad no le puedo subir al 100 el volmen. Lo nico que me gustara es que tenga la funcin para memoria usb o micro sd

Deep base and good clarity and at full volume the sound doesn’t distort

Compared to the JBL equivalent, it’s louder, lighter, Bluetooth is better, buoyant in water, sounds better and is cheaper! Feels slightly cheaper too but it is and I think this is mainly to make it lighter to float. Id advise not waste money on a JBL extreme or anything since buying thus unless you got the cash for a mackie thump go – got one of those too but it’s a different league to this.
Listen you don’t need to read what I’m writing here you can look at reviews all over the internet about this thing, but this is an outstanding portable hi-fi, brilliant battery, waterproof, incredibly impressive frequency response on this thing, just make sure the turn the default eq and the ‘bass up’ setting off. It’s sounds muddy, set it to the above
his speaker is absolutely bad boy just unpacked it and thought i’d test it with some sasasas and boy does it kick. skibba on full blast sod the neighbours wicked speaker, get one asap
Absolutely brilliant sound very good quality just like the baby version but bigger and better sound can’t fault it had a b@o speaker nothing like this for a good sound and a party in the garden when the weather is good
Cannot get over how great this thing sounds. It has booming bass, impressive stereo sound and the battery lasts an insane amount of time. I’ve been listening to it loud for 12 hours and it’s still going. Get it!
I was looking for a suitable sound system for my wife’s birthday celebration in a hired hall and only needed something that would give a half decent sound.
Little did I know I was buying a mini sound system that totally filled the room with a sharp sound and beautiful base!!
Many people commented on it’s great sound during the evening and I must say most importantly that my wife was really pleased with the evening and how the music sounded, so all in all a terrific performance!!

My go to sound source for the garden and bath times (due to it being Waterproof) it even came on holiday with me and allowed to to have party time time. Virtually anywhere. I just recently got a 2nd one to make a stereo pair to use with my Numark DJ decks etc as with the two of them it’s plenty loud enough for a poolside / BBQ outdoor set. Everyone that heard it said how good the sound quality / bass was indoors and outdoors. I really can’t rate these speakers highly enough.
I really wanted the grey coloured one, but I found the sound to be vastly different to the black one.
It’s a much harsher sound, especially on the voices in songs.
The black one comparatively is much warmer and the mids and lows sound a lot better!
I bought 2 of the grey ones, both had the exact same sound so it wasn’t a faulty unit.
This was tested using the soundcore equalizer preset on both to create a level playing field.
The black one though is brilliant and I’m really surprised how good the bass is on some tracks, it sounds like I have a dedicated subwoofer.
The battery is not bad at all, but the soundcore could add a bigger battery, for those who want to use it outside for a full day. My speaker did not last even 8 hours on around 30%-50% volume while We were outside, it may be just the one I’ve got. But if you listen to it on less than 30% volume can run around 12-16 hours.
To my opinion, the sound quality beats JBL Extreme 3 and gets louder and punchy. But it’s plastic and droping it on the ground is not recommended. The amplifier doesn’t throw more power when plugged in, it is the same as on the battery. You have to wait at least 4-6 hours to go to full charge as well, so charging is slow. But for the price of around 120, it is to be aspected to have some weakness here and there. But Soundcore invested a lot into the main point – Sound quality and power. Recommend this speaker, at this price point is unbeatable.
