soundcore by Anker P20i True Wireless Earbuds, 10mm Drivers
soundcore by Anker P20i True Wireless Earbuds, 10mm Drivers with Big Bass, Bluetooth 5.3, 30H Long Playtime, IPX5 Water-Resistant, 2 Mics for AI Clear Calls, 22 Preset EQs, Customization via App
Live these ear phone sound quality is fab, size is perfect for my tiny ears as I have struggled with others to fit well.
Good battery life great connection to phone.
Purchased these to replace my Beats Flex and they sound better! Battery seems to last for ages. Great build quality and app control, just wish you could set a fully custom eq. Tempted to buy a couple of pairs for gym, trekking bag etc because they’re so good for the price
These are so good for the price! They came fully charged and I got them a week ago and haven’t charged them yet! They’re such good quality and so easy to use. The control buttons are simple and the colour is just as described!
Great ear buds. Started failing to connect to Bluetooth after 2 months, had to un-pair and pair again every time. Now won’t connect at all. Edit contacted Anker customer service and they have agreed to replace the pods FOC, and don’t even have to send the old ones back, wasting postage. Great service. Great tech.
I’ve been really impressed with the Soundcore P20i by Anker. The sound quality is pretty good for the price range especially – It’s built solidly, so it feels durable enough for daily use. Plus, the battery life is extremely excellent; I honestly never have to worry about recharging. The Bluetooth connection has to be done manually sometimes but this may be due to my phone. If you’re looking for a great audio experience with practical features, the P20i is definitely worth a look.
These earbuds are absolutely amazing, best ones I’ve ever had, sound is the nuts, deep bass .
Love the case, and the app, u can change the sound, find device, gaming mode. Just amazing highly recommend especially the price . Connected straight away, just love them
Bought them in the amazon sale for 15.99. For that price they are brilliant.
Nowhere near the sound quality of over ear headphones that cost 100+, for obvious reasons.
But the sound quality is good, simple to use etc at a great price
Excellent headphones, only slight downside is they don’t charge in the case! So don’t forget to hook em up.
For the price though, super loud and blocks out sounds like the missis.
I bought these about 4 days ago and im already impressed by how good these are. The audio quality is amazing, the bass is a bit too strong for peoples likings, but if you dont like the bass, you can change the bass, treble and voice audio all in the app. They come with different sized eartips. The case is sturdy. You can get discounts for different soundcore products in the app by just using it. Overall, the earbuds are probably the best i have tried under 50-60 and the app is even better. The only problem is that the earbuds have a final coating of this shiny plastic, so its prone to tiny scratches but not a big problem. Definetly get these. Especially for 20
Im so happy i bought these
I use various headphones on a daily basis, whether it be for work, video meetings, DJing, or – what these are for – running, and they certainly live up to the Soundcore philosophy of good sound and build quality at a great price.
For under 20 you’re getting a solid pair of in-ear headphones that not only look and feel great, but sound awesome. I went through the Beatz fad and a variety of other brands, and I came back to Anker and wondered why I ever went away.
The batter lasts seemingly forever! Charge them once a week for less than an hour, and use them for hours every day.
If you’re unsure, or think by spending more you’re going to get more, don’t be fooled by marketing and listen to the reviews of active users like myself.
I believe good music should be an escape for everyone, and I wouldn’t pass off poor sound to anyone… unless you listen to funky house, then you deserve to join Van Gough
FYI, for reference, I listen to Harddance, DnB, and slow sexy music, and I don’t find fault with any of them, just do yourself a favour and upgrade to the triple cone shape buds (sold elsewhere) if you run so they stay in – which is true for any in-ear headphones.
Stay in ok, and sound is decent. Not convinced they’ll go the full 10hrs before they need charging in the case (2hrs seems to have taken them from full down to 70%) But they are extremely cheap, so I’m happy with them. You’d probably want something with noise cancellation for longer journeys anyway.
I have had soundcore over ear headphones for a couple of years now and I don’t know why I didn’t think of them when I needed new earbuds.
I was gifted skull candy earbuds for Christmas but they were so uncomfortable that I decided to order these. First I love the navy colour, it makes change from black everything. Secondly, I mostly use these for audiobooks and was glad to see a podcast sound setting in the app which is brilliant.
I love the app with pre made settings to choose from so there is bound to be a setting to suit your needs. I also like that you can change what the gestures are for each headset in the app as well.
They came with a full charge and weeks later I’ve still not had to plug them in.
Noise cancelling is good but not 100% which is good enough for me as I use them while walking. Although I have not heard cars behind me a few times.
I will in future look straight to anker products when I need to replace
I had a pair of Airpod Pro 2’s. Didn’t like them at all they have a touch screen button on the side. You can’t adjust them or you pause music every time. Sound quality for music was poor aswell. They got stolen so I got a pair of these Ankers.
100% better than Airpods. The sound quality on these are great for music. Battery is great aswell. I would actually never pay more than what these cost for in ear headphones ever again. these are great Id just buy these if i needed again.
No wonder Apple is worth so much as a company because they rip people off so much with their tech. +185 quid for Apple tag lol.
I approve! I’m impressed with its performance! I’m a big music lover, I can’t live with it out. All types, I’m as diverse as you can get with music, these are good. Cheap but yet good. Also I want to add the actually stay in your ears and won’t fall out easily.
After nearly 3 months daily use, I am really happy with these P20i Bluetooth earphones. Comfortable. Light, quite compact. Battery life is excellent. Sound quality – using Soundcore app – is good for speech and wide range of music with Soundcore Default with bass up. Mics very clear for calls and zoom. Certainly recommended.
The sound is great and it’s touch ability is great as there’s no button and it connects to app. The adjustments are really handy but the only thing is is the quality of the start up noise is a quite bad quality but all the other sounds are perfect I would recommend
4.3/5
Cheap, made by Anker who make the best battery banks, these are cheap but decent quality, audio is bright and full after firmware update.
They magnet to charging box so dropping them in they seat themselves. Charge lasts well in ear phones and storage case also.
Not nasty sound you have to make do with, the soundcore app is ok but not really needed to have chunky audio from the ear buds.
They fit well.
Really pleased with these. Good sound quality and nice and comfortable on the ear. When you download the app you can set what tapping the earbuds does. For instance 2 taps on the right bud will pause or play. I didn’t think they had this function till I downloaded the app so that was a great suprise! Definitely recommend and might buy again so I have another pair for at work.
I have to say for the 15 I paid for these buds I’m pleasantly surprised at how good they are compared to other more expensive ones I’ve bought in the past.
They’re comfy, fit well and stay in my big ears really well due to the lightweight and compact design.
Usually these kind of earbuds tend to work their way out of my big lugs, but these don’t which obviously helps with the sound too.
They sound very good considering the low cost and the sound is customisable with the different equaliser settings in the soundcore app including extra bass if you prefer it that way.
Also you can customise the controls for tapping on the buds to perform the tasks you want such as skip or volume and the like.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend these to anyone looking for a decent reasonably priced set of earbuds.
Also excellent call quality unlike some of the others I’ve had.
Hope you find my review helpful.
I bought these a temporary replacement for my Sony XM4s while they were being repaired. Reviews said they were good but I still wasn’t expecting much. In terms of noise cancellation, they don’t have it. External noise is only blocked by virtue of them sitting in your ear but this is not to their detriment to be honest. The comfort is brilliant and they are so light weight that you can barely notice them. The sound quality is brilliant and with the equaliser responds well to different settings. The case feels sturdy enough and the accompanying strap is a helpful addition that more expensive brands should pay attention to. All in all, a very decent set of headphones.
I have now bought a couple of sets of these (first pair I’ve lost somewhere, not defective!). My kids tell me that 200 Beats ones sound better, but these are well made, reliable, and sound is decent – it’s not like I’m listening to these in audiophile situations – they’re portable earbuds. And obviously, they cost a very, very long way short of 200, which is money I’m reluctant to spend on something I’m likely to drop and mislay!
Good points:
+ comfortable fit, stay secure in my ears during use.
+ accompanying Android app with sound/EQ profiles is friendly and has a good user experience.
+ default sound settings are basically good to go.
+ pairs quickly, easily and reliably with my phone and other devices – had no problems.
+ last plenty long enough on a single charge – not actually sure how long. I listen for a few hours at a time but not usually more than that, and haven’t manged to run them out before returning them to their charging case.
+ tap controls for track navigation, play/pause etc. work fine, and you can customise actions using the app.
+ USB-C case charges pretty quickly.
+ look smart and well designed.
Slightly less good points:
– When I use these for calls, I’m told the mic picks up quite a lot of background noise if I’m doing other stuff at the same time (but they’re still perfectly useable for this – just be aware).
There’s really nothing to complain about here for under 20. They’re well-made, realiable, easy to use, and sound good.
Having previously bought a Soundcore set of headphones I was already expecting a decent product and at 25 these P20i headphones were a steal. Am amazed that today (3 days later) the price has reduced even more which is a slight annoyance but hey-ho! The headphones were simple to pair and having an app to control things like sound equalisation is even better. I like a bass-y sound and these do not disappoint. They are light and comfortable and I am even tempted to buy another pair just to take advantage of the current bargain price
As yet I have nothing bad to write about these headphones and have provisionally given 4* rating but in time I could be raising this
The first wireless headphones I have ever bought. I must say I am impressed by the quality of build and sound from these buds. Download the Soundcore app to change the equalizer on your smartphone. Only complaint which is the sole reason I purchased there wireless earphones was to listen to the TV through my firestick. But the firestick does not connect through the Bluetooth to the earphones for some reason. I have tried every option and still the firestick will not even acknowledge the earphones.
I’m absolutely thrilled with these! I use them at the gym every day and the sound quality is fantastic. So is the comfort level. I especially loved that I could download the app that controls these and FULLY customise them. So if you don’t like the factory setup for how to change volume and start/pause, etc., just pop over to the app and set them up to do what you want. They are very robust and filled with many more features than you even realise after popping them out of the box for the first time. A NOTE: the factory settings do not have them set up for volume control taps on the earbuds themselves. Don’t fret – it’s an easy adjustment through the app! I was worried I would have to use my device to control volume – not true. You just have to set up it to do that, which is SO easy! HIGHLY recommend!
Use for listening to music when out walking and running. Great value – maybe not the best sound quality in the world, so if you’re a connoisseur you may want to spend many times more on something slightly better- but to my ears they sound fine and at this price, it’s not the end of the world if one goes missing, which it inevitably will… Install the app on your phone and you can have more control over the sound. I generally listen to electronic music or audiobooks / podcasts
I don’t normally write reviews on here, but sitting here listening to my tunes on these headphones has prompted me to.
If you’re looking for over priced tree grown fruit labelled products these are not them. These are much much better imho. The fit is better, the sound quality is better and using the soundcore app to “configure” the sound eq and tapping controls is an absolute breeze.
At the end of the day these are (at time of writing) 20 which is an absolute bargain and the sound quality these little ear buds produce for that price point is superb.
I bought these as I have recently moved over to Android. I was using Airpods Pro with my iPhone but didn’t have the budget to spend that amount again. I was super impressed with the sound and build quality of these. They look and feel great in ear. Honestly I can only marginally tell a difference in sound quality between these and the Airpods and they are 10% of the price.
Battery life is awesome on these too and whilst they don’t have ANC, the build managed to do a great job at blocking out any exterior noise. There is also surprisingly very little noise bleed.
They are seriously awesome for the price!
After reading reviews I decided to buy these ear buds, I was not disappointed. the sound quality is very good, plenty of bass and the sound and mic quality on calls is great, the price was excellent, I didn’t have too high hopes for some buds I paid 16 pounds for but they really are great. I paid over 100 pounds for some house of Marley buds and the sound quality was incredibly poor and disappointing so was delighted at how fantastic these are. The app is easy to use and I like the fact you can change the settings of the sound on the app and the fact you can set each ear bud to do what you want it to do individually. Highly recommended
After a friend recommended me to buy these, I don’t listen to music or owt like that on my phone but these are awesome for speaking on the phone, means my hands are free and I can carry on doing whatever I need to do. So I bought my mum some, if she was moving around her flat, the signal would be up and down and she would sound like Norman Collier, so since I bought these for her the quality of our calls are so much better, she’s almost 71 and said they are easy to use which is perfect for her she also said she can carry on doing chores when on the phone and the range is good because she can take the dog to the bottom of the garden and leave the phone in the flat and she doesn’t lose her connectio
So I needed some earbuds for the gym.. a couple of hours with only clanking gym equipment can get annoying. So I got these to link to my phone.
The setup was easy and they paired immediately with my phone. The volume control is via the phone so you do have to set it before putting your phone down. There are next and last track buttons which are touch sensitive which I don’t use but have accidentally operated when removing a bud to hear something/someone else.
The sound quality is pretty good with a good sound range for the size. Volume is a little quiet, but most are these days to save your hearing, you can turn up on the phone beyoud the recommended limits to make them louder.
At normal volumes I don’t hear much else so these hide background noises sufficiently for my usage.
They fit quite well in my ears and as long as they are put in correctly stay in my ears for the whole gym session.
I think these are great for the price, exactly what I needed!
So what am I comparing these to? I had a pair of second generation air pods, the left one started playing up, but I couldn’t justify the 160+ price tag of replacing them. I just needed something for down time in work and watching catch ups on the laptop. I read the reviews and thought for 15 you can’t go wrong. I was expecting to sacrifice the apple compatibility with my iPhone and loss of sound quality, but how wrong I was!! The sound quality is so much better than what I had before. After downloading the app you can change the tap commands including volume, mute, next track and Siri. They also connect automatically with your iPhone when you open the case just like air pods. The battery life on a full charge with the case is 30 hours. The app also has a huge choice of background sounds if you just want to switch off or can’t sleep. I was so impressed with the sound quality I asked my son who has air pod pro’s to compare them and he was as gobsmacked as I was. I’m now enjoying music again instead of just dead scrolling through social media. Apple need to up their game these are amazing for a fraction of the price.
I have been using a wireless earpiece for many years now, the kind with a wire connecting the left and right but not actually plugged to your phone. So this was meant to be my trial into true wireless earbuds.
To start off, I was pleasantly surprised at how small the case is, compared to pictures. They really minimised any unnecessary space within there. The stalks on each earbuds really help as I’m used to grabbing something rather than the earbud itself, from previously.
Even though it isn’t ANC, to me at least the noise cancellation is already very good. It fits snugly potentially too tightly.
That being said, it isn’t all perfect.
I only realised this after getting it, that it doesn’t connect to more than one device at a time. With my old earpiece, I was able to connect to both my phone and laptop at the same time. It would cut to whichever device was actively playing sound at the time. All my previous earpieces did so, and I thought that was the default, only to realise it wasn’t the case (as in this one).
More importantly, if it was paired with one device, you’d have to unpair it to ‘free it up’, so that it can pair with another device. Otherwise, the second device just wouldn’t be able to connect.
As a smaller drawback, the double-tap gesture and the press-hold gesture takes a while to kick in. If you double tap twice (4 taps), it only registers as 1 gesture. So you’d have to space out the double-taps to get the desired effect, such as raising/lowering the volume. This does mean taking a few more seconds to get there.
I compared these with my partners new 2nd gen AirPod pros and was very surprised at how good these are for the price. Pros and cons:
Pros:
– easy controls with touch buttons
– app allows changes of button functions and sound which helps (I like the acoustic setting the most)
– they tend to stay on your ears even when exercising
– calls are pretty clear. If you protect the speaker from wind when running you can also use siri etc when running
– So far the battery life has been fantastic
– I get very sweaty when running and they’ve been fine – I haven’t dropped them in water or anything though
Neutral
– sound quality is decent for the price – not as clear as the AirPods but what can you expect for the difference in price!
– good noise cancellation – I can’t hear much other than the music although I wish there was a way to change this when running on the road
Cons
– they do look a bit plasticky and cheap but again, for the price what can you expect
Overall, if I were to turn back time I’d probably get the slightly more expensive version for better quality sound but I do very much recommend these for the price. If the sound quality was slightly clearer I’d have given these 5 stars
I have always rated Anker gear. A little under 3 years ago I bought a pair of their P3. I paid 80. Whilst I am sure that, on paper, these aren’t supposed to be as good as those (and with and RRP of 30 you wouldn’t think so) but I’m not sure I can tell that much of a difference! Maybe it’s the advancements in sound technology; or maybe just my hearing! Either way, I don’t think it’s worth spending any more if you’re not an audiophile who wants the absolute best. There’s so much bass on even the “out of the box” settings it’s ridiculous. But the best thing is that they work with Windows 11. (The P3’s don’t.) Docking one star for the poor quality audio when using them for online meetings and the like. It’s not terrible or unuseable; could just be better.)
And I got these for 15.99 in the Spring sale! Bargain of the year.
These are extremely good for their price. Sound quality shocked me with how good it was, it doesn’t sound tinny like a lot of cheap earbuds. It comes with 3 different ear tips and with the right ones on they are super comfortable and secure. I’m not worried about them falling out. The noise cancellation is better than I expected. The app is also a really nice feature.
Battery lasts very well and the sound is epic. I have had a few people think I’m in a wind tunnel when I’m outside but that’s their problem, I can hear them no problem. Perhaps there is a noise cancelling option in the app. Oh yeah, there’s an app! You can mess with sound settings which don’t do an awful lot but it’s nice to have the option. Best thing is you can change what the buttons do! That is a fantastic feature and worth the money by itself (with the ear buds obvs). There are lots of things to explore in the app like music and sounds which is cool, think there’s a subscription for the music but I like the fact I can build background sounds like rain, wind and forest etc. The samples are a little short so noticeable but it’s a great idea and a fantastic addition this product. Makes me feel like the manufacturer cares about the customer and that they are not going to disappear anytime soon. At the price these are a great bargain I think I paid about twenty five quid but I can’t remember exactly at time of writing because I wanted to use them for a while before leaving a review. They were cheap, they do not sound cheap. I thought I’d miss the battery percentage number I had on my previous earphone box but because these seems to last forever I’ve not had any doubt that they have enough power for hours of listening and chat. Brilliant, really. Recommended
As an audiophile always on the hunt for exceptional earbuds, I recently got my hands on the Soundcore P20i True Wireless Earbuds by Anker, and let me tell you—they’re a symphony of sound!
Pros:
Powerful Bass: The 10mm drivers deliver bass that hits like a thunderstorm. Whether it’s hip-hop beats or rock anthems, these earbuds make every note resonate.
Long Playtime: With a whopping 30 hours of playtime (including the charging case), I can groove all day without worrying about recharging.
Crystal-Clear Calls: The dual microphones ensure my calls are crisp and clear. No more “Can you hear me now?” moments.
Customizable EQs: The 22 preset EQs allow me to fine-tune the sound to match my mood—whether I’m working out or relaxing.
IPX5 Water-Resistant: Rain or sweat won’t stop these earbuds. Perfect for workouts or drizzly commutes.
App Customization:
The Soundcore app lets me customize everything—from EQ settings to touch controls. It’s like having a personal sound engineer in my pocket.
Comfort and Fit:
The ergonomic design ensures a snug fit, and I can wear them for hours without discomfort.
Cons:
No Active Noise Cancellation (ANC): While the passive noise isolation is decent, ANC would have been the cherry on top.
Final Notes: The Soundcore P20i True Wireless Earbuds are a harmonious blend of performance, comfort, and style. Whether you’re a music lover, podcast addict, or conference call pro, these earbuds won’t disappoint. Anker has truly hit the right note!
A bit of context: I currently have an Anker Soundcore Liberty 3 Pro, which for me is the best sounding pair of headphones I’ve ever had when paired with proper noise cancelling foam tips (though granted, I haven’t used anything over 100 before).
However recently I’m finding the battery is dwindling on it, something which wasn’t one of its strongest areas to begin with. I listen to podcasts a lot when I’m doing chores or running errands, so can be listening for hours at a time, and my current earbuds would get me about 80 mins before needing to recharge. Usually I listen in one ear and swap them around, but now the case itself runs out of charge quickly which is getting really frustrating.
I still love the Liberty 3 Pro for music and can’t be without it, but took a punt on the P20i here as something cheap for my podcasts that can last for a few hours at least without needing to go back in the case. And so far I’ve been way more impressed than I thought I’d be!
The sound quality on these blew me away for such a low price (20 at time of purchase). It’s not going to replace my Liberty 3 Pro but it does a good job once you tweak the settings a bit.
I can’t say much about the battery yet, but earlier today I was listening for 2 hours and the battery on the buds hadn’t lost a single bar on the app. Whereas my Liberty 3 Pro would be completely depleted before then. So bodes very well so far for the promised 10 hour battery life.
Very highly recommended from me.
It was a google news item that prompted me to check out the P20i headphones. I have a pair of Sony WF1000XM3 headphones which I use for various things, but the bugbear has always been lack of IP rating (i.e. can’t sweat or go out in the rain with them).
Initially I was looking for bone-conducting headphones for the gym and cycling, but really sound quality is super important to me.
The P20i stood out simply due to the fantastic reviews and IPX rating, and WOW what a pair of headphones they are! Can’t believe they were such a low price. The sound quality for a pair of 15 headphones certainly rivals higher-priced headphones, and with me having the WF1000XM3 as well as Sennheiser IEMs for live music purpose, I was blown away by the P20i!
They’re super comfortable, the app is great, and the EQ options are very good overall.
Seriously for 15, just buy a pair and use them. For anything!
I own two of Soundcore’s small speakers, a 2 and a 3, so know they produce high quality products at a good price, but these ear buds are truly amazing for the money!
Very easy to pair and if you connect them to the Soundcore app they have multiple EQ choices available as well as the ability to set your own.
Bass is excellent, speech clear, and watching movies is a great experience when you play the sound through these, so much better than the thin, tinny sounds of my previous ones made by a different brand.
Battery life is great so far too.
No hesitation in recommending them; for the money you won’t find better and would have to spend 6 or 7 times as much for any improvement.
For the very reasonable price (I paid around 30) these are incredible! Great sound quality, noise cancellation is pretty good, the box is small and well designed and fantastic battery life. Only issue is, sometimes when I’m speaking to someone using the ear buds, there is a slight static sound, and is hard for them to hear what I’m saying. This only happens sometimes though (I could be outside, inside, in full signal / WIFI etc but still happens, so no idea why). Overall, these are way better than my previous ear buds which where double the price!
I’m not an audiophile and bought these just for occasional use at home and I have to say I’m very impressed with the build quality and the sound quality! Especially given the 15 price tag due to the discount offer!! Works well for me with my Samsung S24 although I did have to crank the volume up to 35 rather that 20 when using my Soundcore Bluetooth speaker (Soundcore Boost, another excellent sounding product from Anker/Soundcore) but no distortion and enough standard sound pattern types available via Soundcore companion app (android in my case for my phone). Can’t comment on battery life as I’ve only just started using them. Bluetooth pairing is simple enough by installing the companion app, taking both earbuds out of the hard case (which doubles up as the charger) and pairing. Brilliant feature of being able to customise the touch sensitive button on each earbud to control playback, volume etc. Does a good job of isolating external noise, although noting that these are not sound cancelling earbud so you’ll still be able to hear people speaking etc. I use Bose QC45 headphones in the office primarily for sound cancelling so I’m planning to see how these measure up as a possible alternative to headphones just to see how much noise isolation is possible. Anyway, I’d highly recommend them to anyone (so much so that I bought another pair!). EDIT: The sound isolation isn’t that good in a noisy office (not a fault of the earphones to be fair as they don’t specifically claim to be noise cancelling or noise isolating).
