Arrived quickly loads of adapters for different fittings . I bought these for my mums ss hob as one of the knobs were broken they are only thin plastic but make hob a lot better and for cost are great not had them long enough to know how they las
Put the adapter onto the spindle then carefully line up the knob and press down.
Note, once the adapter is in the knob you’re never going to get it out again so put the adapter on the spindle first, not in the knob!!!
Plastic feels more flexible to me, ie, not like old bakelite…but…that’s neither good or bad. It’s perfectly firm enough to do the job so I’m quite happy.
They were just what I was looking for an reasonable price! Only lost a star due to them being hard to install, they were so tight it really took some force to get them on my hob
so far this is the only product that fits our cooker as the spindle comes with different dimension in OD and length. i gave up with the metal one as their spindle is fixed and way too short to fit our cooker although i know metal one is more durable. hopefully, this one wont melt quickly as those reviews say.
Good value for money, but just a little more cheap and plasticy looking than the originals. But still very good compared to the price of original Candy parts. Also very easy to fit, 4 minute job from start to finish.
They fit my oven OK but after a couple of weeks the handles had moved slightly on the spindles, meaning the gas was in the wrong position to light properly. Even though the handles fit fairly tightly on the spindles, I’d recommend glueing them together too.
Really good needed replacement cooker nobs, you get different fittings to adjust to a variety of coolers. Has done the right job. To fit the fittings was a little tricky, make sure you line it up correctly before pushing into nob.
My lovely niece (she’s 19 & lives with me) decided to actually get off the sofa put her laptop down & do a bit of cleaning while I was out as a surprise (which was a shock in itself – I usually use the steam mop attachment to clean it not sure what she used) but in the process she took all the knobs off the hob in such a way they wouldn’t work & just span round. Making it super hard to turn them on & off sometimes not going off when you think they are off & gassing us (thankfully I had not long since given up smoking).
As my hob is an unusual make I have struggled to find replacements from the manufacture & it would cost more than it was worth to replace the hob as it would me new pipework, so I have been using a pair of pliers to turn the hobs on & off (not the easiest thing to do).
So when these arrived super fast & actually fit I was so excited that they worked. No more pliers to turn the hob on & off & even better no more gassing ourselves it great.
My niece is now not allowed anywhere near the hob to clean (not that she does very often anyway) it is now completely out of bounds to her & she has been warned if she brakes it again she is paying foe a new hob.
