I needed a quick replacement for a not properly working cable.
Quality picture seems ok, I use it to connect my computer to my monitor, so more than up to the task, I guess.
I needed a good quality cable to connect the PS5 console and I found this cable. At first I wasn’t convinced about the quality at such a low price. Fortunately, I was pleasantly surprised because the workmanship of this product is very good and it has a very good price!
I have only had these for a while, but I believe them to be very good quality. My setup is probably way too complex, using HDMI switches, amplifier, tv, 5 or so inputs/’devices’ etc, however, simply using the PS5 at 4K 120Hz was no problem. I did actually order 2×2 cables, and sent one pack back. If you get it, don’t worry that the label was picked and the box opened, the cables are fine (and recommended). I only sent back as I found that I could use my standard cables in the switches, without degrading the performance. Actually, in the end, I chose to plug the PS5 directly into the TV, as the switch could only give me HD@120hz, so I only needed one cable.
(out of interest, the LG C2 gets a bit confused switching devices to a single HDMI input. It tries to be too clever, identifying the type of equipment so that it can optimise the HDMI, and also provide support for the remote control).
hdmi works brilliantly in my series x to 4ktv prob overkill for the specs i need but was cheaper and would rather have something that can handle higher bandwidths for hdmi then i know it will last and work well plus its there if i upgrade in future with a pc etc. as for cable its very nice seems durable and well made.
Used to connect a new Samsung QLED tv and Symphony soundbar. The old bog standard hdmi cable I had to hand had terrible lip synch and sound drop out.
This cable cured everything. From old SD broadcast to new UHD lip synch no longer an issue and Star Wars explosions on Disney Plus which used to pop and drop out now shake the room.
I have had an OLED tv for just over a year with a dolby atmos soundbar and just recently I have been having sound cutting out for a couple of seconds after I have started streaming things. It got to the point where sometimes the sound would also cut out mid movie and after doing some research I found it could be the earc reconnecting. I figured I must have damaged the cable while connecting my sons Nintendo switch (not the easiest place to put the hdmi slot) to the tv a few times and sought a replacement.
After switching to these cables I noticed an improvement in picture clarity and the Dolby Atmos finally worked. I assumed it worked before but as I have a surround system it seems I was just hearing in surround sound which was awesome anyway but now movies are very immersive.
My previous cables were double the price of the 2 pack (1 for the ps5 to tv and one for tv to soundbar) I got but not certified as these are and bought individually so maybe one or both did not have the speed for earc but obviously these do. I have never really been impressed with cables and assumed they were all much of the same but clearly not. I would definitely buy these again.
Having recently purchased a TV and soundbar with eARC capabilities I wanted a HDMI cable that would be able to make sure I can get the best sound possible when watching UHD programmes. The lead is well made and appears sturdy. The outer braiding looks good as well. The cable length is ample and also comes in other lengths. Price was reasonable as well. I can’t say I have tested the 4K or 8K picture quality but the sound is certainly great.
I needed an extra hdmi cable* for a new pc that also has DisplayPort connection and I suppose it worked as it should – but Im not an AV professional so I cant tell what benifits the extra HDMI connection brings.

* (How durable are they supposed to be? I spose it’ll be all right).
The HDMI cable works great. I have had certain instances where the screen blackout multiple times but after a while it sorta itself out. I don’t know if the cable is defective or the computer glitchingnbecause I’m changing the display from Display Port to HDMI. But flawless performance when it does start working. 120Hz at 4K using a 4080 card on my Sony X90J.
A very slim extremely flexible cable that actually does 48Gbps without a single glitch!
Now the good thing about this cable is that it will also help you determine if you have a ‘dodgy’ HDMI port on whatever device(s) you connect between, and it will also help you filter through all the very poor quality HDMI switches.
This is a reference cable indeed.
I didn’t like the idea of having a thick heavy cable plugged into my LG C2 oled in a horizontal port, port could easily get damaged, so instead I elected to want to use a HDMI switch that I could plug my devices into and then have a very lightweight flexible cable that plugs from the HDMI switch to the oled screen.
I tried a few cables, including optic fiber hdmi 8K cable. However, out of the all the cables, this Stouchi ultra-slim cable delivered the goods, not a single glitch.
I’m testing it at 4k 120hz with VRR and HDR at 10bit, just works, no micro-flash artefacting, no blank-screening, nothing negative whatsoever.
Now I did try this cable in one of those EZCOO 8K hdmi switches, and I was getting glitches, but then I realised after a while of testing a variety of cables, that the EZCOO switches are just prone to issues, no idea if it is build quality relative. I then tried it with one of those Bolazaal 8K switches, EXACT same glitches as the EZCOO on a number of cables. Then I tried an Avidgram 8K HDMI switch, EUREKA! Finally a 8K HDMI switch that can deliver the goods (stable 48Gbps), once the HDMI switch was veried as stable, I then really got to try out all the cables in a non-contaminated environment (as in no other problems), and it was after spending countless hours of video streaming, gaming, dialling all the features up (120hz, VRR, HDR, 10bit, 12bit)… that the final conclusion was made… The Stouchi ultra thin certified HDMI 2.1 cable is the one to keep.
Now if and when these come down in price, I will be sure to buy a few more to replace all my other cables too.
Again, well done Stouchi.
If you’re anything like me, you’ve probably amassed a collection of HDMI cables over the years. I bought a new TV unit recently, and decided to replace all existing HDMI cables with these ones. All I can say is WOW! The picture on my Sky Q box is so much better. Better colours and everything is sharper. The LED wall in the background of “The Chase” quiz show isn’t a mess of blurry blocks now. The difference on my XBox One X is also VERY noticeable. More vivid colours and sharper details.
My wife gets bored by stuff like this, but even she has commented on the improved picture quality.
Obviously, I’ve got great results because my previous cables were an older standard, but I recommended these to a colleague and he said the difference on his XBox and Sky Q were very noticeable.
The cables are also very good quality, and the packaging makes them look and feel a lot more expensive than they actually were. I’d definitely recommend these if you’re looking to upgrade your HDMI cables.
