Syncwire Bluetooth 5.3 FM Transmitter Car Charger 54W PD&QC
Syncwire Bluetooth 5.3 FM Transmitter Car Charger 54W PD&QC 3.0 USB Type-C Charger Adapter [Fast Charging] [Stronger Mics & HiFi Deep Bass] [Light Switch] Wireless Radio Receiver Hands-Free Calling
Fast Bluetooth hand-free connector, perfect for use in the car. Connects via cigarette lighter socket and offers hand free option on most phones and MP3/4 players. It’s intuitive to use and I didn’t need to use the manual, (just has well really has you’d need a magnifying glass to read it!!)
Comes with a simple interface, which includes a circular toggle switch/volume dial, channel but on and on/off button, and a USB & PD36 input.
I have an older car that doesn’t have Bluetooth Hands-free which is a bit of an inconvenience on longer journeys if someone wants to call me. With this excellent little device it’s possible for me to have a hands-free kit but also I can use it to stream music to my car stereo. The Sound quality is good and the microphones obviously work well because whoever I am speaking with can hear me perfectly.
The Bluetooth Car Adapter offers a range of features designed to enhance your driving experience. Its standout elements include a customizable rainbow light that adds a stylish touch to your vehicle, though its utility may be subjective. The dual-microphone system with CVC 8.0 noise reduction technology ensures clear and uninterrupted calls by effectively minimizing background noise.
For those concerned about charging efficiency, the adapter’s PD 36W and QC3.0 18W USB ports provide fast charging for two devices simultaneously, with built-in protections against common electrical issues. The inclusion of Bluetooth 5.4 technology offers a faster and more stable connection, improving the overall user experience by reducing delays and enhancing sound quality.
Additionally, the HiFi deep bass feature adds depth to your music, making it ideal for those who prioritize audio quality in their car. While the rainbow light feature may appeal to some users, others might find it unnecessary.
Overall, the Syncwire Bluetooth Car Adapter is a solid option for those looking to upgrade their car’s audio and charging capabilities, offering both functionality and a touch of style.
This is really designed for older vehicles or vehicles other than cars that don’t come with Bluetooth built in as standard. I have tried a few of these in the past and not liked them because of the sound quality at the other end, which effectively means that my MIC wasn’t good enough and that’s why people I called couldn’t hear me clearly. When I saw this was made by Syncwire I had to try it as I have not had a bad product from Syncwire yet, and this is no exception as this also has great build quality.
I have a really old car and the door panels, dashboard and air vents all seem to be squared off and this is why this squarish design works for my car and doesn’t look out of place. It looks fantastic in the night time with the LED lights on. For just 19.99 you are adding Bluetooth hands free calling via this device and through your cars speakers, and you are getting two fast chargers built in for the price, with a USB-A interface and the newer USB-C interface.
The clarity of my calls are spot on with this as I haven’t had a single person complain, and that has to be down to the dual MICs built into it. You just need to pair your phone to this unit using Bluetooth and when you take calls they come through your car speakers as the voice is transmitted from this device and via FM to your car radio. You just need to tune the radio frequency to pickup the voice and away you go. You have the added benefit that you can also play any music on your phone via the cars speakers as well, and that’s what makes it a real game changer. When you leave and come back into the car later, if you had paired your phone beforehand then it automatically connects again within a second.
You can get cheaper ones than this, but I’ve not had any that were as clear as this for the calls, and they didn’t have a dual charger either. When you look at what you are adding to your car this really is a bargain.
Acquired item to review, order arrived on time and well packed.
Wanted to add hands free plus be able to stream music from my phone to my car. As it’s an old car, blue tooth wasn’t an option. This item fitted into my aux socket for power. Then I simply tuned my FM radio to the frequency as advised and done. My phone links to the Syncwire adapter via blue tooth so I can transmit music, and use the hands free option for voice calls.
Also the added bonus of turning my aux socket into a USB A & C connection point.
At the time of this review, 19.99 delivered. Which is a very inexpensive way to modernise your old not so smart car 🙂 Perfect….
5/5
It has completely transformed my driving experience. The first thing I noticed was how easy it was to set up. The connection to my phone via Bluetooth 5.4 was seamless, with no noticeable lag or drop in quality. The sound is crystal clear, and the signal strength is impressive—I’ve experienced no interference while driving, even in areas with heavy radio traffic.
The dual-mic feature is a standout. It makes hands-free calls much clearer than my previous car adapter. People on the other end of the line have commented on how clear my voice sounds, even at highway speeds. This is a huge plus for me since I make a lot of calls on the road.
The fast charging capabilities are also fantastic. My devices charge rapidly, even when I’m using them for navigation and music streaming simultaneously. The adapter supports both my phone and tablet without any issues.
Another feature I appreciate is the light switch. It allows me to turn off the LED lights when they’re not needed, which is great for night driving—no more distracting glare inside the car.
Overall, this is packed with useful features, and it performs exceptionally well. It’s a must-have for anyone who spends a lot of time on the road.
This is a great quality product that comes well packaged. This is definitely is easy to install and you can start using it straight away. Recommended for anyone looking for this type of quality product.
The Syncwire Bluetooth 5.4 FM Transmitter is a powerful car adapter offering 54W fast charging with PD 36W and 18W ports. It features dual microphones for clear hands-free calling, a HiFi bass sound for enhanced audio, and a convenient LED display. I found it straight forward to set up and use. It is great for saving space and adding more functions to any car. The colour choices are also great for matching to your car interior.
I got this in attempt to get a hands-free and streaming capability for my Honda S2000 which, being of 2005 vintage, has a stereo with neither Bluetooth nor aux socket.
Installation is easy – tune your radio to an unused FM frequency, tune the transmitter to match, then pair with Bluetooth. Job done. There was only one gotcha – if the battery voltage is low (when the engine isn’t running), it doesn’t enter the Bluetooth pairing phase, but just displays the battery voltage. This isn’t mentioned in the instructions and took me a couple of minutes to figure out but, once I’d started the engine, it all proceeded well.
Sound quality is as expected for FM radio – perfectly acceptable but not CD or DAB quality.
The microphone works well with the top up, but a microphone in a convertible with the hood down will always be a challenge, especially when, as in the S2000, the cigarette lighter is down by your left hip instead of on the dashboard or centre console. With the hood down, I could be heard on phone calls but had to raise my voice due to wind and road noise. This isn’t the fault of the device, it’s a consequence of open-top driving – even with noise cancellation, you can’t expect noise-free calls. I think the best solution for a convertible is probably a Bluetooth headset.
Re the lighting effects, it’s nice that they can be turned off – it’s not something I’ll use. Charging output seems OK, my phone maintains it’s charge and doesn’t complain about being connected to a low-output charger, as can sometimes happen with other chargers.
All in all, I’d recommend this device as a Bluetooth hands-free phone solution for cars with no Bluetooth capability. But if you have a convertible and regularly drive with the hood down, maybe consider a headset or earpiece solution.
This is an impressive device for enhancing in-car audio. With its Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity, it offers a stable connection and clear hands-free calling. The fast charging is also a fantastic addition!
I decided to purchase the Syncwire Bluetooth FM Transmitter because my old car stereo doesn’t have Bluetooth. With all the commuting I do, having a way to stream music and take calls hands-free seemed like a good investment.
Right out of the box, the adapter felt well-made and sturdy. The red colour adds a nice touch and makes it easy to spot. Setting it up was straightforward — just plug it into the cigarette lighter, tune the car radio to the same frequency as the transmitter, and pair it with my phone via Bluetooth. It took only a few minutes, and I was ready to go.
The sound quality is fantastic. The HiFi bass sound really stands out, making my drives more enjoyable with a much richer audio experience than I expected from a transmitter. It handles both music and calls very well. The dual mics are particularly impressive, making conversations clear even when I’m driving on the motorway.
One of the best features is the fast charging capability. With a 54W output (PD 36W & 18W), I can charge both my phone and my tablet quickly, which is incredibly convenient on long trips. The LED display is bright and easy to read, showing the car battery voltage, the FM frequency, and the connected devices. The light switch feature is a thoughtful addition, allowing me to turn off the display light when driving at night to avoid distractions.
However, there are a couple of minor drawbacks. Occasionally, there is a bit of static interference, especially in areas with many radio stations. This isn’t a dealbreaker, but it can be slightly annoying. Also, the buttons are a bit small, which can make them tricky to use while driving, but once you get used to their placement, it becomes easier.
Overall, the Bluetooth Transmitter has greatly improved my driving experience. It’s reliable, sounds great, and keeps my devices charged. If you’re looking for an easy way to add Bluetooth functionality to your car, this adapter is an excellent choice.
This Syncwire handsfree Bluetooth (v5.4) car kit is really neat and well designed, seems really well made and is easy to use. There is a total of three controls – all on the front of the device – a CH button to enable the broadcast channel to be changed when setting it up, a red Bass Mode & Lighting enable / disable button and a small joystick style knob (rather than the more usual rotary) for adjusting volume, selecting next and last track and accepting calls / pausing music.
It also has and two USB ports (‘A’ and ‘C’) for charging or for connecting a memory stick and there are two small silver grilles protecting the microphones on the front at the bottom.
When powered on, the device has mulitcoloured LED lighting around the edge which pulses in time with music when it is playing. An instuction manual is included as well as a smaller operation guide.
It paired straight away with my Google Pixel 7a without any issue. I then adjusted the broadcast frequency to my preferred FM channel of 88mhz using the CH button to enable adjustment mode (frequency flashes on the front) and then used the multifunction button on the front until the desired frequency was displayed.
I also adjusted the volume on the device to it’s maximum of 30 and just use the volume control on the car stereo to choose the right level. I was able to stream music from my phone with no issues and the quality of the broadcast is excellent
Received calls came through nice and clearly and my voice was clear at the other end.
I really like this device for it’s build qualityand ease of use. The only niggle is that I would have preferred a rotary control knob to adjust volume etc. rather than the joypad style this device has, as tt feels a bit vulnerable and fear it could break off. Apart from that, for 19.99 at the time of writing this review it is very good value for money and I can recommend it.
This has worked each time I’ve tried to link my phone to my old car stereo using this, so I’ve got no complaints.
It plugs into the cigarette lighter and looks really good when lit up.
Music plays seamlessly and the connection via Bluetooth is really good.
I recently upgraded my car accessory game with the Bluetooth 5.3 FM Transmitter Car Charger, and let me tell you, it’s been a game-changer for my driving experience!
Firstly, let’s talk about charging efficiency. With its 54W PD&QC 3.0 USB Type-C Charger Adapter, this device delivers lightning-fast charging speeds. Whether I’m juicing up my phone, tablet, or any other compatible device, it’s a breeze to keep everything powered up on the go.
But it’s not just about charging—this transmitter is also a powerhouse in terms of connectivity and audio quality. The Bluetooth 5.3 technology ensures a stable and seamless connection to my devices, allowing me to stream music and podcasts with crystal-clear sound. The HiFi Deep Bass feature adds a whole new dimension to my audio experience, delivering rich and immersive sound quality that’s perfect for long drives.
One of my favorite features is the hands-free calling function. The stronger mics ensure that my voice comes through loud and clear, even in noisy environments. It’s incredibly convenient and, more importantly, enhances safety by allowing me to keep my hands on the wheel and my focus on the road.
I also appreciate the light switch feature, which allows me to easily toggle the device on and off with just a press of a button. It’s a small detail, but it adds to the overall user-friendliness of the transmitter.
In summary, the Bluetooth 5.3 FM Transmitter Car Charger has exceeded my expectations in every way. It combines fast charging, top-notch audio quality, and convenient features like hands-free calling into one sleek and compact package. If you’re looking to upgrade your car audio setup, look no further—this transmitter is the real deal!
To get this working all I had to do was plug it into the cigarette lighter socket & search for SWXC96X on my phone . this paired instantly & i just had to tune the radio into the MHz displayed on the Digital Display.
The sound quality was good you can change tracks by simply push the right hand knob right or left with a finger and change the volume by flicking up & down.
This model has ports where you can plug in a USB-C or USB for charging devices. There is another model that has a built in USB-C Coiled cable from the same manufacturer so if you have a USB-C phone then this might be a better bet.
I haven’t used the phone option yet as nobody has called when I’m using it but i’m sure it will be fine.
The LED lights that surround the unit a nice added touch and look cool when they move to the sound .
The unit displays your car Voltage and the MHz to tune into to receive your audio !
Hope this helps …..
This clever transmitter device by Syncwire allows an older car to connect via Bluetooth to a mobile phone or tablet so you can play music or make calls. It can also connect via USB to a USB stick flash drive or mp3 player.
It connects via the cigarette lighter socket which powers it and also lights it up like a discoball. Luckily you can press the red button to turn the lights off so they don’t become a distraction while driving. The red button can also be used to increase the bass, much like the “superbass” setting on 80s and 90s hifis.
Bluetooth pairing is straightforward and quick. Once your device is paired, you can tune it in to an unused frequency on your car stereo.
It can be used to make handsfree calls while driving, play back sat nav instructions from your maps app on your phone, or listen to music.
The sound quality replication is good, as long as you set the volume to max on the transmitter and then adjust via your car stereo.
It has two USB-A ports and a USB-C port which can deliver 36W PD fast charging.
I have tried numerous Bluetooth FM Transmitters over the years and a lot of them have had poor audio quality or a constant hissing noise. Luckily this wasn’t the case for this one! The audio quality is excellent. I wouldn’t say it’s better than AUX as audio quality is limited over FM but it still sounds great. I love that it delivers 36W over USB C so you can charge your phone instantly. The RGB colours are a nice touch and look cool when driving at night. The microphone also seems to be pretty good too!
THis thing really has quite a lot built into it for what it is. My car doesn’t have an aux in or built in bluetooth so the FM transmitter is the best method I have of getting it to the car speakers. From what recipients of my calls have told me, the call quality of the built in mics is decent enough. The only issue would be that if your 12v socket is in anclosed space, you may have trouble fitting this in. This wasnt the case for me though, so no complaints.
I’ve used a few FM transmitters, but this is the best one I’ve used by far. It’s a good weight, and feels durable enough to survive a few knocks in the car. When connected up to my phone, the quality was nice and clear, unlike other transmitters I’ve used. The lights aren’t too bright, but are a nice bit of ambience if you want that kinda thing.
Incredibly impressed with the charging, too. On testing, I’ve been able to pull about 30-34W, so the 38W output isn’t 100% accurate, but it’s suitable enough for most uses. It manages Fast / Super Fast charging on all of the devices I’ve used to far.
It sits snugly in the lighter socket, and doesn’t feel loose or wriggle around too much. I’ve had no issues with audio cutout or random disconnects.
As a whole, this is a perfect FM transmitter. Highly recommended.
For 21.99 this product is great as its simple to set up and sound quality is impressive. Has Usb c port output is 36w which allows super fast charging. Also has a normal usb 3.0 port which works even if the usb c port is being used at the same time and doesnt affect the power output.
I bought this to enable me to listen to music / audio books and to receive calls hands free in a car with no built-in blue tooth.
It’s a seemingly simple device although we do have a tendency these days for taking for granted the amount of amazing technology that gets squeezed into small spaces. This has a blue tooth receiver so it can link up to your phone but it also has an FM radio transmitter so it can forward whatever is coming out of your phone directly to your car radio in FM mode. It works extremely well; the sound is as good as if it were being sent directly over Bluetooth.
It has some colour changing lights which can be turned off. Volume can be changed directly on the device or on your phone or as per usual on your car radio. It will produce very good volume, just make sure you have it adjusted correctly on the car radio and on your phone.
When the charger is connected and the engine is not running it appears to report the car battery’s voltage however it gave mine as 11.9 which is very low although this would have been in circuit with anything else that happened to be running such as the ventilation system and the radio and perhaps day running lights. Fast charging works just fine. Testing the PD output is not really practical for me because I don’t have any devices that charge with such high watts.
The default FM frequency is 87.5 but this can be changed if required. Being so close the transmitter and receiver do not suffer any interference.
Easy to use on the go – I did not have any problems what so ever to get it working and the sound quality is great. Excellent price and excellent little widget.
The instructions are simple and straight forward, you can have this up and running and paired to your phone in no time. Just tune into the FM radio frequency pair the bluetooth and you’re away. It’s limited for calling to the last number but just press a button for hands free when you answer a call and it works well. There is some RGB action for the youngsters but I turned it off. The charger is excellent and it fast charged my phone in no time.
This is a great little gadget that won’t break the bank and gives a charger and hands free to older cars that don’t support this.
I recently added a Bluetooth FM transmitter to my older car, transforming it into a more modern entertainment system without the need for an Aux input or a stereo replacement. This device seamlessly streams music from my phone through the car’s radio, while also offering a hands-free calling feature and the ability to charge devices via USB.
The setup process was simple, involving selecting an unused radio frequency and pairing my phone. While the sound quality is not exceptional, it’s sufficient for enjoying music and audiobooks during drives. The inclusion of a USB-A port for charging adds to its utility.
Although it’s not a complete replacement for a built-in Bluetooth stereo, the affordability and convenience of this transmitter make it an excellent solution for enhancing older cars. It’s been a great addition, providing both entertainment and charging capabilities in one compact device.
My car lacks Bluetooth and the Aux in socket is in the glove compartment, which is definitely not convenient to use. So this does a great job of adding Bluetooth so I can play music from my phone through the car stereo system.
Pairing my mobile was straightforward. I was a bit dubious as to how well the radio would tune to the transmitter but that was just as simple. I was genuinely taken aback at how quickly I was up and running.
At first I thought I’d have to sacrifice using a SatNav at the same time. However, I found a USB A to micro USB lead which solves that problem. And I still have a USB C socket free to charge my mobile.
Using this to play music is fine, not pristine hi-fi but certainly adequate. There’s occasionally a little burst of noise – like another radio station starting to break through. It’s only happened a couple of times but I’ll experiment with using a different frequency, which hopefully will resolve the issue.
I haven’t tried using my phone hands-free as I prefer not to do that. Helpful to have the feature in case of an emergency, I suppose. However, I now have the ability to listen to my phone playlist while I drive. A real boon for long journeys.
If you don’t want to replace your head unit or cant but want Bluetooth, then this is one of the few ways of adding it to the car that you have available to you.
As this will take you 12v Acc socket up entirely, its nice that 2 power ports have been added to this one, and at a higher power too.
Compared to the old unit that I had this one doesn’t get any alternator interference in the audio output which is great. The usage is very simple via the selector on the front and couple of buttons allowing an easy way to select your FM frequency and adjust the FM output volume.
The volume output is really quite good on this unit as well compared to others I’ve had meaning the head unit amp doesn’t have to be up as high.
The sound quality is very good too with minimal muffle and distortion (though there is always some).
The lighting is.. well yeah a gimmick really. Unfortunately every time you turn it off, it doesn’t store the previous setting so it turns back on when you cut and restore power to the unit. If that was fixed it’d be a pretty much perfect unit!
Just to clear things up right from the start — this isn’t a radio transmitter for cars without radios. It’s a device that allows you to stream music from your phone through your car’s speakers and enables hands-free calling.
Here’s how it works: You need to complete two pairing processes. First, find an unused FM station on your car radio — look for the one with just static noise. Then, set the FM transmitter to this frequency. Next, pair your phone with the transmitter via Bluetooth to stream music and handle calls.
**Pros**
– It’s a handy solution for cars lacking Bluetooth capability.
– Two fast-charging ports are included, which I find really convenient.
– The microphone quality is clear and reliable.
– The neon light on the transmitter adds a nice touch for nighttime driving.
**Cons**
– Limited to FM radio compatibility.
– The setup might not be everyone’s cup of tea.
– You need to have an existing radio with speakers and a Bluetooth-enabled phone for it to be useful.
Overall, while I might not use the hands-free or Bluetooth streaming features since my car already has built-in Bluetooth, the fast-charging ports are a useful to me. For those without in-car Bluetooth, this could be a practical accessory.
