SYNCWIRE Car Phone Mount for Universal Dashboard & Tesla
SYNCWIRE Car Phone Mount for Universal Dashboard & Tesla Screen, [Super Stable] Car Phone Holder, Foldable Aluminum Alloy Arm, Car Automobile Cradles for iPhone 15 Pro Max 14 13 12& All Phones
Really recommend this, was a bit apprehensive about how strong the sticky pad was but honestly it’s not moved at all, follow instructions given in pack and leave for time required so it sets and you’ll be fine, can have it set in many ways even for looking over dash board onto road, I have iPhone 15 pro max and it’s solid, much better than they stupid vent magnetic holders that drop the phone over a bump
The build quality of this mount is exceptional, thanks to its ultra-high strength steel aluminum alloy construction. It feels incredibly sturdy and durable, just like a part of my car’s chassis.
One of the standout features for me is the extra-large adhesive area provided by the 3M VHB sticker. This ensures a secure and stable attachment to my dashboard, without the risk of damage or deformation that traditional suction cup mounts often cause.
Moreover, the mount is super heat resistant, which is perfect for withstanding extreme temperatures in different environments. The genuine 3M adhesive maintains its adhesion even in conditions ranging from -40F to +300F, giving me peace of mind no matter where I drive.
I also appreciate the precision workmanship evident in every aspect of this mount. From the high-quality materials used to the environmentally friendly soft silicone clamp arms and panels, every detail exudes reliability and stability.
Adjusting the angle of the mount is a breeze, thanks to the 360-degree rotatable ball joint. Whether I’m making calls or using GPS navigation, I can easily fine-tune the viewing angle for optimal visibility.
This holder is pretty well built, the arm is made of metal and the holder is made of plastic but has a lot of adjustability, it is just about able to hold my S23 Ultra with an otter box case which is pretty chunky. It might not stuck the best to a curved dash but that will take longer to see what happens but I’d recommend as its a good phone holder and does what it should in a slim form factor!
This SyncWire car phone holder is made from a high strength steel aluminium alloy and feels very sturdy in terms of build. The frame provides great stability when driving and keeps the phone firm in place, and provides a much-needed upgrade from the suction and vent mounts.
The adhesive bit is quite large and seems to provide better adhesion due to the surface area and doesn’t seem like it will leave behind any residue or create any lasting damage. Obviously hard to be absolutely sure of this as I’ve only just started using it.
Another great aspect is the temperature resistance, being able to withstand temperatures ranging from -40C to 150C (approx). It does come with an additional adhesive sticker, if needed. With global weather conditions and temperatures fluctuating the way they do these days, this feature provides a good assurance of the mount’s durability.
In terms of usability, the mount has soft silicone on the clamp to remove any worries about scratches and allows a decent grip on most phones ranging fork 3 to 7 inches.
The 360-degree rotation features is another huge plus, allowing efficient adjustment without any fuss.
It’s pretty much universal in terms of compatibility with both of us having one small phone (approx. 2.5 x 5 inches) and the other being larger (approx. 3 x 6 inches).
Overall, this is a pretty decent mount with good features and easy set up. The only quibble is the price, coming in at almost 20 (at time of review). There is a 10% voucher at the moment but that’s still quite a high price. If you use GPS often and need a reliable mount, then this is a great option. For occasional jaunts, it might be tad much in cost.
Well made product and had no issues with it losing adhesion during a long journey. It looks good and holds my phone well with plenty of room for adjustability – I recommend it.
This car dashboard phone mount from Synchwire is excellent. It is really well made, it looks great and it is incredibly sturdy.
In the well presented box you receive; phone holder, dashboard mount inc sticky pad, 2 x wet wipes, 1 x spare sticky pad, information leaflet, warranty leaflet (please see photos).
To install this in your car you will first need to carefully work out where you want to stick the mount on your dashboard, as once stuck down you will not be able to move it without spoiling the adhesive mounting pad. Once decided you then need to clean that part of the dashboard and dry it and then peel of the back of the adhesive sticky pad and fix in place. I suggest doing this with the arm of the mount removed (please see photos). Once stuck in place leave it overnight to help ensure a strong fix, instructions say for 5 hours but I left mine overnight.
Once the adhesive sticky pad has been left to settle you can then put the arm back on the mount. You are then ready to fix the holder to the mount.
To fix the holder to the mount you first need to loosen the nut on the rear of the holder so that it is pretty much as loose as it can be whilst not falling off, or remove it and place it over the ball on the mount (please see photos showing this). Then push the rear of the holder over the ball of the mount, with the nut on rear of holder in place as described above, and once clicks in you then tighten the nut of the holder to secure the holder and also to fix it in the angle and position that is best for you when driving.
To release the holder to install phone there is a button on the top middle of the rear of the holder (please see photos) which you click and hold to release the side clamps. Then sit phone in the holder and close the side clamps till it grips your phone tight. It is also possible to extend the bottom feet out but with a standard iPhone I found I did not need to as fitted fine with the bottom feet as are.
When driving the unit is stable and doesn’t move too much even when driving over bumps. The phone is also very secure.
I am giving this item 5 stars and recommend if you are looking for a phone holder for your car that does not fix to the window or to an air-vent. Only point of note is that this is of course not a magnetic holder (which is why has the clamps).
The mount’s construction is top-notch, made of ultra-high strength steel aluminum alloy, which is the same material used in cars. This ensures optimal durability and stability. Unlike traditional plastic suction cup mounts, the SYNCWIRE mount is less prone to deformation and offers superior stability for the phone.
What sets this mount apart is its extra-large adhesive area. The 3M VHB sticker is significantly larger than what you find on other products, enhancing the stability of the mount. I appreciated that it minimizes damage to the car’s interior, a common issue with traditional suction cups that can deform and damage dashboards.
The mount’s heat resistance is remarkable. Using 3M GPH-160 adhesive, it maintains adhesion in extreme temperatures ranging from -40F to +300F. This feature is especially useful as it ensures the mount stays in place regardless of weather conditions.
In terms of design, the SYNCWIRE mount boasts precision workmanship. The high-quality, heat-resistant PC+ABS material ensures the mount’s stability and reliability. The clamp arms and panels, made of eco-friendly soft silicone, enhance friction and stability while preventing any abnormal noise.
Adjusting the mount is a breeze thanks to the 360-degree rotatable ball joint. I found it incredibly easy to fine-tune the tension to get the desired viewing angle. This feature is particularly useful for ensuring safe and comfortable viewing of my phone for navigation and calls.
Lastly, the mount’s compatibility is impressive. It accommodates a wide range of smartphones, including the latest iPhone models and Samsung devices, and works well with standard phone cases.
Wasn’t expecting it to hold up, mainly because of the UK roads, but the adhesive is good and holds the phone very securely. There’s a lot of jumping on the UK roads with the amount of potholes, so it’s expected to jump up and down a little. When the roads are smooth or slightly bumpy, there’s no jumping. I love the low-profile design as my phone’s now lowered over the dash rather than covering my view, so it’s a much safer option! The holding part itself is super easy to operate. I would definitely recommend this phone holder if you’re looking for a dash mount; it’s a must-have! Highly recommend
As someone who relies heavily on GPS navigation while driving, this car phone holder is very good for me.
The first thing I noticed about the SYNCWIRE mount was its construction. Made from an ultra-high strength steel aluminum alloy, similar to that used in cars, it exudes sturdiness and durability. The hinge-like frame mimics the steadfastness of a car’s chassis, offering unparalleled stability. This is a significant upgrade from the traditional plastic suction cup mounts, which I found to be less stable and prone to deformation.
The adhesive area of this mount is notably large, featuring a 3M VHB sticker that is three times larger than most competing products. This ensures a stable attachment to the dashboard, which is a relief as I’ve had past experiences with mounts falling off during drives. Plus, it’s reassuring to know that this mount is unlikely to damage my car’s interior, unlike suction cup mounts that can leave permanent marks.
Another standout feature is the mount’s heat resistance. Using genuine 3M GPH-160 adhesive, it can withstand extreme temperatures ranging from -40F to +300F. Living in an area with fluctuating weather conditions, this feature gives me confidence in the mount’s ability to maintain its adhesion and stability throughout the year.
In terms of usability, the SYNCWIRE mount shines with its precision workmanship. The heat-resistant PC+ABS material ensures unwavering stability, and the environmentally friendly soft silicone on the clamp arms and panels enhances friction, ensuring my phone stays securely in place without any noise.
The 360-degree rotatable ball joint is another great aspect, allowing me to easily adjust my phone to the perfect viewing angle. This adjustability, combined with the ease of placing and removing my phone from the mount, makes for a hassle-free experience.
Lastly, its universal compatibility is a big plus. It works flawlessly with my iPhone, but it’s also suitable for a wide range of smartphones and standard phone cases, making it a versatile option for different users.
The market is flooded with different designs of car phone holders but this is one of the more solid ones. It consists of a self-adhesive dashboard mount with a metal arm which can be slid in and out by loosening a large metal thumb screw. The other end of the arm has a hinge connected to a shorter arm with a ball and socket on the end. The phone holder fits onto the end of the second arm.
The two arms can be mounted either way up allowing the phone to be mounted above or below the level of the dashboard.
The construction quality seems good.
The jaws of the phone holder open from 44mm to 84mm which should suit most smartphones.
In use it holds my Galaxy S22 securely
The jaws holding the phone are slightly angled but there’s a small button on the back of the holder which opens the jaws making it easy to remove the phone.
Using this car mount has enhanced my driving experience. It holds my phone securely without blocking my view. The heat resistance is a major plus, especially after parking in the sun for hours. Adjusting the angle for optimal viewing is easy and remains fixed in place. No more worrying about my phone falling off mid-drive.
Sturdy and handy product for in car use. You can easily place and stick anywhere on car. Can adjust for difference size mobiles which is perfect for more than 1 person. Can rotate vertical and horizontal which is added bonus. Cheap price for great gadget.
This is good quality phone holder/mount. Easy to install and set up and can be move with limitation. Holds the phone good and steady. Price a little bit expensive for me.
This is a great phone holder, strong and easy to set up.
It looks sleek, and is far superior to the one I just broke that was quite a few years old. A definite upgrade.
The phone holder I had was a suction on the window one, which would fall off the odd time. I wasn’t a fan of the way it held onto my phone on the sides.
This one however sticks on to the dash via the sticky pad. I followed the instructions and wiped the surface with the alcohol wipe included in the box.
The phone holder is adjustable and I adjusted it to fit my preference. The instructions says to stick it and not use it for 5 hours to get a tighter connection.
This holder has 3 points of contact to hold the phone the sides and bottom. It clamps around snuggly, there is a button for a quick release on the back.
So far so good.
I previously was using a magnetic phone holder in my car which was great & I never had any problems with however the tightness of the magnet put me off applying to my new phone so I was happy when I see this on the review list.
The holder comes very well packaged, clear instructions and all you need, and more to get started.
The item contains the phone holder itself, the holder comes in two parts so you can adjust position and then secure both parts together. There are two wipes to wipe down the surface of where you want to apply the holder, the adhesive sticker is already on the holder however comes with a spare, maybe over time it could lose some stick?
The instructions advise applying to a flat surface, I’m guessing this is so the stick can apply to its full potential, where I applied the holder is as flat as possible, for where I would need and want the holder. I noticed after using my phone in it the pad had slightly raised but this doesn’t seem to have given any indication that it’s going to come loose or remove completely.
When driving along, the phone is very secure and doesn’t move around. There are many adjustments so you can position to your comfort.
There is also a button on the back where your phone would sit, I believe it’s call an easy release button, this is probably my favourite thing about the holder, it saves trying to battle getting your phone out and potentially causing damage to the holder of your phone, you press the button and side parts release and you can easily lift your phone out.
I would recommend this phone holder, I’m pleased with it.
SYNCWIRE Car Phone Mount is a reliable choice for those seeking stability and adaptability in a phone holder. Its ability to cater to both universal dashboards and Tesla screens, coupled with its super stable suction cup, makes it a versatile accessory. If you’re in the market for a secure and flexible car phone mount, the SYNCWIRE Car Phone Mount is a solid investment for a stable and hassle-free driving experience.
I’ve been through 2 or 3 phone mounts for my car — including one which slotted into the CD player opening and one which attached to the vents. None have so far worked so I was crossing my fingers with this one.
It has a quality feel to it and is made of metal in parts which feels promising when you open it out. The 3M adhesive circle which you use to stick to the dashboard needs to be held in place for a few seconds then left for 5 hours. I did this overnight and have been using it every day since without issues.
It’s easy to get my iPhone 13 in and out and to rotate it and tilt it. The arm itself also moves up and down too. It’s great because it’s not too large and doesn’t get in the way of anything on my dashboard. This is definitely worth 5 stars as it works so well.
A good alternative to the holders that fit into air vents. It contours very well to the dashboard. You get extra cleaning pads and extra adhesive holders in case you need to redo or move it.
Very detailed easy to follow instructions.
SYNCWIRE Car Phone Mount for Universal Dashboard & Tesla Screen, [Super Stable] Car Phone Holder, Foldable Aluminum Alloy Arm, Car Automobile Cradles for iPhone 15 Pro Max 14 13 12& All Phones
I have had several Carphone holders all of which are plastic, so it is nice to have found an aluminium phone holder. As you can see from the photograph the holder is now in place.
In seeking to evaluate a mobile/cell phone holder two essential qualities are needed;
1. To be able to grip the mobile phone securely;
2. To be able to attach the phone holder securely in a place where it can be viewed easily.
Although Synwire do sell a MagSafe phone holder, this model uses a cradle to hold the phone. The jaws on the cradle open to 85mm (3.44 inched in old money) and that is wide enough to accommodate the latest phone such as the iPhone 15 which is 71.6 mm (2.82 in) wide and leave room for a cover.
My mobile phone is surrounded by a battery case which allows me to recharge the phone twice. This more than doubles the weight of the phone and yet the cradle holds the phone securely. When the cradle is vertical the phone can be also held by a foot rest.
One test is to place the phone in the cradle in the horizontal position, which I did do. At first the cradle was very loose and the ball retaining nut refused to tighten. By rotating the cradle clockwise into position cured that and it was stable — bearing in mind the weight of my phone with the battery case. I have tested a few car phone holders and this appears to be the best cradle holder product that I have felt confident about.
In anchoring to the car, this is a dashboard mount. Specific instructions are given – clean the designated area and allow the mount to rest for five hours before using it.
It is a simple but effective design and all in all, it does what it says on the tin. An excellent quality car phone holder.
The 100-dollar question: is it worth parting with a penny short of 20.00? The present economic climate may put the price to the fore, and yet I would have to say yes! If you are looking for a car phone holder with a cradle I would recommend this one. This is a solid quality product and worth six stars!
Have had a number of items from Syncwire, finding them really well designed and made, this is another item reaching the same standard.
The phone holder itself is plastic, but really well constructed and solid, with a premium look. The back of the holder and the internal faces of the clamps is a soft silicone material, so no issue with marking the phone. The clamping mechanism gets a firm grip on the phone, with the bottom support being extendable for taller phones. The release button is easily accessible at the top rear.
The dashboard mount is a really solid bit of hinged aluminium, with a removable screw down knob attaching it to the sticky pad mount, allowing the hinged section to be flipped over to give some alternative mounting options, along with some forwards and backwards adjustment along the slot. Plenty of adjustment to get the optimum position.
Installation is really straight forward, select a flat section of the dashboard in an appropriate location, clean it with the supplied alcohol wipe, remove the protective film from the sticky pad, press in position for 10 seconds, then leave for 5 hours to achieve full strength. The instructions are very comprehensive, with some suggested mounting positions.
They include a spare wipe and sticky pad, should you want to move it in the future.
Excellent item in design, presentation and performance, worth paying a bit more for than some of the alternatives.
Exceptionally well made and sturdy piece of kit! Cradle is soft and shouldn’t mark the phone. As expected, the mount is infinitely adjustable, and should accommodate installation in any number of window/dashboard locations. Really like the accessible position of the quick release button for the phone clamp (top centre rear of the phone mount). Multi-language user manual is simple and well illustrated.
Phone holder arrived well packaged and presented. In addition to the mount, there’s an extra wet wipe and 3m “sticky” pad should a refit be needed.
Great bit of kit for the price (19.99).
