If you don’t need to share your VR, then you don’t really need these; however, my family was coming to town and I knew I needed these disposable guards to maintain cleanliness of my headset. They fit well and are comfortably thin and lightweight.

Let’s be honest – When we play physically demanding VR games, we can get sweaty. I know myself and my kids do, at least!

Before these, we were taking tissues or paper towels and trying to fit them around our eyes – With little success in making a repeatable process that actually worked.

With these, we can easily put on the mask and start playing. Even if you aren’t sweating, it’s much more hygienic with these – Less likely to get acne or other skin problems from the VR foam.

I was worried my head was too big for these, but they fit fine around my ears. If you are playing for long sessions, you might notice discomfort around your ears a bit, but I don’t usually play long enough for it to bother me.

Overall, these are a great accessory for your VR experience – Great if you want to share with friends or family, but don’t want the ‘ew’ factor of a perceived dirty mask to get in the way.

I wish I had these on subscription. My kids take off their oculus and have red marks and sweat all over where the VR device touched their face. Since using these guard masks, they have been much less sweaty and it has kept their skin clearer now too which is just a great side bonus. I love that they can be used until they are gross and need to be tossed. The material isn’t scratchy or rough and actually feels nice against your skin. I love them. Definitely one of the best buys I’ve done so far.

I chose these face wraps because playing the vr game with exercising apps makes for a sweaty face pretty quickly. I like these came on a pack of 50 disposable face guards. I also like the fabric is smooth and soft which is good against sensitive skin. The string is long enough to fit around an average size head and not be too tight which is also good.

These face pads are very soft, easy on the skin and don’t have any weird odors. If you frequently share your headset with friends and/or family and play games like beat saber where you can get sweaty then these are great idea. Or if its just you using it and dislike the feeling of sweat running down your face you may consider these. The pads fit almost like KN95 face masks, which I’m sure we’re all familiar with wearing by now, but around your eyes. Which also means that for long sessions the straps around the ear can start to become a little uncomfortable.

I use a silicone cover on my Quest 3 and found that it works best with these pads if I place the front part over my eyes first and then tighten the back of the strap. If I don’t then the pad tends to shift and doesn’t sit properly.

I play in a vr headset a LOT so I got these to help keep my face clean and acne free from wearing it so often. (I had been putting a fresh napkin/tissue around my eyes in the headset)

The first thing I noticed when I opened the mailer this was in was that the bag the masks are in was prematurely cut/ripped. Only slightly on the corner of the bag. So I just had to tip the bag open fully from there anyways as the resealable ziplock part was completely sealed shut and not letting me open it from there at all. Wearing them did feel a bit odd to get used to and I was worried that the forehead piece would be too narrow to protect all of my face while wearing my headset – but it actually wasn’t! It perfectly fit along the face gasket of my headset. I was worried when it only mentioned the quest in the description but fit me just fine as a Valve Index user!
One minor issue/pet peeve I had to get used to is because they dont have wires around the nose, it can block the opening at the bottom of your headset to see out of. Not sure if this effects fogging or air flow but just something you might need to get used to if it matters!

All in all, if you don’t clean your headset very often, these are a great way to keep your face clean and prtoected!

These are such a great idea. We used some for the Q3 and they work pretty well. You forget you even have them on after a bit. Unfortunately a bit big for kids so they moved around a bit and annoyed the smaller child.

As an experiment I also tried them with my PSVR (1). They actually seemed to work pretty well. A little adjusting, and you can tell you have it on, but overall it works.

These definitely make switching your VR headset from person to person a little less gross and reduce how much you have to clean. Just a wee bit pricey though. Maybe after they’ve been out a while that will change!

These are generic masks that happen to be fine for Oculus. They are well-made and work as intended. My kid doesn’t like them. I think they are a good idea, but way overpriced for disposables.
