Worth the money. Easy setup, took about 30mims to complete setup. What I learned is you do need a wired or dongle wireless keyboard and mouse to setup. Once setup you can add wireless blue tooth devices which don’t have a dongle. Overall I’m very happy

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersThis is a review for the Ryzen 5700U version with 32GB RAM and a 500GB NVMe SSD.

I had a few reasons for wanting this. I own a far more powerful gaming laptop which is good for gaming, but it’s very loud and power-hungry. I wanted a machine that would be quiet and would sip power in case I want to do any homelab-type stuff with it. And this is quiet – it is not silent by any means, but when it’s idling it is very difficult to hear the fan noise. I stressed it with Cinebench R23 and fan noise escalates to a moderate level. That’s fine for me. In fact, when running the single-core version of that test, the computer maintained its level of quietness. (Scores were 8985 multi-core and 1261 single-core if you’re interested.)

I strongly suspect that if I had gone for the 5800H, that would have been a lot louder under load. The TDP of the 5700U is 15W (configurable from 10W-25W) whereas that of the 5800H is 45W (configurable from 35W to 54W according to AMD’s website). I suspect that the same fan is used in both cases and that it would be a lot faster and noisier with the 5800H – and the 5800H is not all that much faster than the 5700U. (If you’re a gamer, it can be significantly better for certain games, but not all of them, from what I saw on YT reviews.)

Don’t throw away your packaging; I noticed a medium-pitched tone that I thought was coming from the PC, but it turned out that the PC was resonating on my desk! Putting it on top of the foam pads that were part of the packaging sorted that out.

It comes with a Windows Pro activated licence. If you want to mess around with Hyper-V or you want to remote into this box using Microsoft Remote Desktop, that’s great.

Mine has a DisplayPort and a HDMI port on the back, not two HDMIs; for me that’s a plus, but it’s something to be aware of if that is a need of yours.

I have no complaints about the build quality; I think it is mostly plastic aside from the base plate which is metal. The unit is designed to be easily upgraded should you have a need to do that; at some point I will probably add a 2.5″ drive to it.

I found it very amusing that the manual that comes with it says “Thank you for choosing Beelink products” on the inside!

WiFi 6 is apparently available (settings show an Intel AX200) but my machine settled on a 5GHz channel for some reason. It’s not in the same room as the hub and still achieved around 100Mbps to the internet so it’s OK. I will be using the wired network when I can be bothered to plug it in, anyway.

I might update this review if I find anything further that’s significant, but otherwise, so far, it seems to be a solid workhorse machine with a tiny footprint!

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our Userswell people I am going to blunt . yes its fast but you will need am external drive if you want any kind of decent storage . something to keep in mind is that it is a 500gb drive but once you open it up install the updates it drops to 399 hence you will need storage.

also they say it is quiet . its not its actually quiet noisy the fan is continuous and the only way to escape it is to wear headphones

another claim is that there are lots of usb and connections . well I’ve used it for less than an hour and already have had to use a usb extension as they are only 4 usb ports. is it value for money . well I got this in a supposed amazon sale at over 150 . value for money? not a chance its a basic bare bones system which is lets face it a gimmick item because its slightly small. this can not be upgraded like a normal desktop which is about the same price. my advise shop around get something you can expand in the future or you will end up like me spaghetti junction (see photos )

4.0 out of 5 stars Good basic mini pc but very noisy!

This replaced an old desktop PC as my HTPC and so far has been great, easy to set up, enough connections and fast enough to watch movies on. Havent tried any kind of gaming though

Great value for a great little PC.

The listing could have been clearer as to what was included in the pack (2xsmall HDMI cables and a power cable) but other than that, great service, quickly delivered and exactly as advertised. Nice quick mini PC.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersThis tiny PC is a brilliant piece of kit, sips power and can be far more powerful than an older computer chewing 7x more power than this.

We previously had an old dell computer running Home Assistant with Frigate, the old computer was more than capable though it would consistently use 70watts at 10-20% CPU usage.

This little PC was around the same price (the dell was an Amazon renewed) and sips under 7watts at a similar load.

Additionally, the newer variants of intel CPUs give extra features for better processing of motion frames on frigate.

Did I mention the thing is tiny? It fits in the palm of your hand.

Golden Review Award: 13 From Our UsersA remarkably fast mini PC.
Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed making set up easy. You will need a mouse, keyboard and either a monitor or TV for the initial setup. Enable remote access and you won’t need them again as everything can be done with Windows Remote Desktop tool which has apps for Android and iOS as well as PC and Mac.
Just remember to set up your WiFi connections to connect automatically or you may find yourself stuck!
I use this TRIGKEY as part of my astronomy setup where I mount it directly to my telescope. It’s really lightweight so it isn’t a problem even on my super-light grab-n-go setup. I use “N.I.N.A” to control my astrophotography sessions and it runs buttery smooth, with plenty of headroom on the TRIGKEY. There should be plenty of power in reserve for future developments too.
The n100 processor is exceptionally energy efficient, great for remote locations where you may want to use a power-tank. It runs really cool too so you’ll never have issues with heat dissipation, especially as this also has fan cooling. The fan is near silent and totally free from vibration so it will not affect your exposures.
USB ports are all of type A, useful for astronomy equipment. There’s four of them which is reasonably generous. They’re fast too, so getting your gigabytes of data off is really quick and painless. On that note, there’s 500GB of MVMe SSD onboard, plenty of space for a long shooting session over a couple of nights. Adding an extra SSD drive internally is a simple enough job as there’s a caddy built in (accessed by removing four screws) though I haven’t found any need to test this.
I’ve been using this for a little while now, both at home and at remote dark sky locations and I’m really impressed with the little unit. I can’t believe how reasonably priced it was, particularly taking into account it has 16GB of RAM and a 500GB fast NVMe SSD where many have slower SSD disks.
I have no reservations in recommending the TRIGKEY, it’s a first-class mini PC.

5.0 out of 5 stars Surprisingly Good

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI purchased this for my charity as the office computer was creaking at the seems. I chose this N5095A one as its faster than the N5100 (??). Its a zippy little thing, uses far less power and some 5times faster than the old office pc, all for a price of 159, whats not to like. I love this form factor and always try to get this size.

You wont be disappointed (unless you are a gamer, maybe minesweeper and light games).
