Brought for my 82yr old mum who wanted a phone with bigger numbers to press and gets confused with technology. Easy phone to use, really like it that the green text envelope flashes when there is a message to read. Simple features. Very reasonably priced.

This is a great mobile phone for the elderly. It’s packed with all the features that you would expect to make it more accessible. For example, the keys speaking the numbers as you press them and the ability to pre program family members numbers and names. I found that the battery life could be better, but as long as you’re charging it every night, the other features out weigh the con of the battery. It’s also surprisingly robust, which I think is important given that elderly family members tend to have less dexterity and strengthen in their fingers which could lead to the Phone being dropped.

Great simplistic design for elderly easy to use and very efficient. It remembers about old Nokias from 2001-2003,indestructible and weekly rechargeable. It is far from a hi-tech fancy thing and with a poor quality camera but in the end it does exactly what supposed to do at superlative.Simplicity here means quality and practicality and it’s exactly what you get for around 40.

I recently received the TTfone TT760 Flip 4G Big Button Mobile Phone which is perfect for my mother in law who is in her late 80s.

The phone is designed with the elderly in mind, featuring big buttons that are easy to see and press.

The red color is vibrant and stands out, making it easy to locate.

The construction of the phone is very durable, giving me confidence that it will withstand accidental drops or bumps.

Additionally, the call volume is loud and clear, ensuring that my mother in law can easily hear and communicate with others.

One feature that I really appreciate is the emergency assistance button. This provides a sense of security, knowing that help can be easily accessed in case of an emergency.

The only reason I am not giving it a full five stars is because the dock charger is sold separately. It would have been more convenient if it was included with the phone.

The TTfone TT760 Flip 4G Big Button Mobile Phone is a great choice for the elderly. It fits comfortably in the hand and pocket, has a durable construction, and offers helpful features like loud call volume and an emergency assistance button.

Not very smart, not very fancy, basic, but simple and easy to use, great for the elderly. It’s well made anyway and the flip design makes more compact and comfortable to store in the pocket or hold in the hand.

The construction is solid and I can see it withstands drops. The USB cable is better than the mains one, but sure you need to plug the cable in the power source.

It works well with big buttons, simple, reliable and functional. Great for seniors.

I got this phone for my dad who is elderly and has mobility issues, so having a phone is his landline. He is a technophobe, so everything must be easy and simple. I set up this phone for him and helped him get used to it and I was pleasantly surprised with how straightforward everything is.

It’s overall good quality, and will certainly stand up to many accidental drops. The red is definitely the best colour to go for. The software is straightforward and reminiscent of Nokia type of phones so It’s very familiar to anyone who has used phones in the 2000’s.

Overall a great purchase and recommended.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersTTFone TT760 Flip 4G bug button phone: Me and my husband are of an age where mobile phones are useful rather than essential, we do very little on ours a part from make or receive the odd call and of course lug around with us in case of emergency. So this phone is a perfect replacement for my husband’s very old model.

He has large fingers and anything very small is “too fiddly” so the keys on this are perfect for him. The display is clear to see and even the speaker is a little louder and clearer than in other models. For less than 40 it’s actually very sturdy and well made but quite light, the charger port is easy to access and the SOS button is clearly marked, accessible and useful to have.

I suspect the camera wouldn’t meet muster for some, but as we still use a camera for most of our snaps (it is digital and not a box brownie, although we do still own one!) it’s good enough for our needs.

This is a no nonsense phone which is easy to use and accessible for those who have difficulty with motor skills, eye sight, hearing or all 3. It’s a nice bright red – easy to find and being a flip top it gives you something easier to grip when holding it up to use. Brilliant!

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersThis phone has a lot of value to those who want something that offers a little more than a dumb phone but not as complicated or fiddly as a smartphone.

    Pros:

    – Compact slimline design
    – Large soft easy to press backlit buttons
    – Easy to navigate menu
    – Light up icon indicator showing through a little window on the flip phone lid to indicate a call or text message or battery percentage
    – You can change the size of the text to make it easier read the text message
    – You can set the phone up to auto hangup a phone call by closing the flip lid
    – Unlocked to all mobile phone providers
    – Very bright torch
    – Useful radio that works without the need of a Sim Card
    – Clear, loud sound through both the ear piece and on loud speaker
    – Bluetooth, very surprised that this was a feature and makes it easy to transfer photos
    – An clear and concise instruction manual that explains everything to help navigate the phone
    – Standard USB TYPE-C charging port making it flexible to use the same charger as other phones
    – SOS is very useful for an emergency
    – Takes about 40min to fully charge
    – The phone lasts a few days with little use but as with all phones, the more you use it, the more the battery drains, you can get a few hours of none stop use

    Cons:

    – None

    Neutral:

    – Not unexpected but no WIFI as per the description, this would have been a benefit to save mobile data on the basic web browser.
    – The camera has its uses in emergencies for a quick photo or video recording of something but the resolution is only 480/640px and you need an SD Card as the memory runs out quick.

A great phone for OAPs, those who may struggle with a smartphone, a backup phone and also as a first phone for kids but teens would probably want a smartphone.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic phone

    Unexpectedly decent quality.

I got this phone to (eventually) give to an elderly person who will be visiting the UK in about 6-7 months time. I wanted something deliberately without loads of features and potential for software problems. Also being easy to read, and see the numbers was desirable. I am impressed with the quality of the phone handset. It snaps shut nicely. The screen is pretty bright/clear.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI’ve had a few flip phones that are designed for the elderly or those with reduced motor function and this is by far one of the best.

I’d still suggest getting the dock version but this at least has USB type C charging which is easier to get in to the phone.

This phone gets a lot right. It’s loud. It’s bright. The keypad has haptic (vibration) feedback and is back lit. It’s reads out the numbers dialled. It has an SOS feature. It’s easy to open and close. The messaging isn’t too fast when typing and gives you time to do it. Not all phones like this have these features.

It has a camera that is best described as a camera from 2014. Its placement is not ideal as gripping the phone gets in the way of it. The directional buttons are surprisingly small and this isn’t ideal.

That said, it’s easy to use and has a lot of good going for it. It is easy to talk on, has a small screen to flash up for messages if you didn’t hear them. It’s not perfect but is definitely better than the others I’ve had.

4.0 out of 5 stars One of the best but…

My grandparents like to stay in touch with the family but don’t stand a chance of getting to grips with a smart phone, which is where a basic phone like this comes in handy.

It has large buttons and the screen is easy enough to see and navigate through the menus.

As it is basic, the battery lasts a good amount of time between charges, with the most intensive apps being games and the camera.

As you’d expect, the specs aren’t great and neither is the camera, but for elderly relatives, it does the job with an SOS button built in for quick dialling.

All in all, it’s a decent phone for the elderly.

I hope you found this review helpful.
