Neatly packaged together for ease of transport. Our plugs fitted them perfectly and they fitted the sockets in both Zimbabwe and Botswana. Definitely made life easier being able to charge our appliances quickly, good value for money.
These travel adapters for Southern Africa are quite solid and built with high quality materials, and so I’m quite confident that it should work with no issues. Being from South Africa, I can tell upon looking at it that this is indeed a South African plug. My UK plugs also fit in them perfectly.
These UK 3 pin to South Africa 3 pin adapters are perfect for travel to South Africa. South Africa has mainly type M plugs, which I have yet to find included on the multi country adapters. I have had plugs of very similar design previously which have been reliable and whilst I can’t comment just yet on if these work in SA, I have no reason to doubt them. UK 3 pin plugs fit in these exactly as they should, and the adapters fit into SA extension plug I have here.
Travel adaptors can often be rather cheap and flimsy, but this one is re-assuringly solid. The pins that go into the outlet are sturdy and firm, whilst the UK socket accepts plugs in an easy but secure manner. I’m not going to South Africa unit the New Year, so I can’t confirm that it actually works in the intended country, but from what I can see this looks to be a decent adapter.
