The most often complained about feature is texting, because the default method is the weirdest thing I’ve ever seen on a mobile.
However, it can be changed from the menu, just choose ABC from it, & it goes to the simple press the letter keys appropriate number of times eg for C press the ABC key 3 times.
was wanting a realitively cheap second phone to deal with non family calls and messages. Looked around for a while tried some others never met my needs. Then i discovered this phone must say i was curious from the start only complaint is limited ringtones but hey for the price what are you expecting at least its 4g not like some of the others that are only 2g. Fits into pockets easily and not too heavy. Would i buy again if i had to yes.
I am a self-confessed technophobe, I mean seriously, I struggle working the TV and often need my kids to help me so I was hoping this phone would be super simple to use, and to a degree it is, but there are still things I found difficult to work. I’m not stupid by a long shot but more old school where I prefer everything to be super easy and straightforward. I dislike anything fiddly and difficult to find or work out. This phone, for the most part, is easy to navigate. however, I still found some things a little frustrating such as texting and when using the radio (which is a great feature by the way) I was struggling to find how the heck you increased the volume as it is deceptive when it says volume control and I’m pressing the upward key.
So the phone is a decent size and I actually love the old-fashioned flip style as it reminds me of one of my very first mobiles. The buttons are large, which helps if your eyesight isn’t what it used to be and the screen is clear enough for me to read without my specs.
For me, this would be an ideal phone for anyone who wants just that, a phone. There’s no internet and it has all the features anyone would need really. Camera quality isn’t great but then I wouldn’t expect it to be. Charging is fairly quick and can be done by USB C or by placing it in its holder say at bedtime.
I plan to keep this phone as a little backup as there have been many times in the past when we have broken one of our phones and have nothing to use until it is fixed, so this will make an ideal reserve option. 4/5
So happy with this, just wanted a simple phone I could use in emergencies, on a Pay as you go basis, this is ideal.
It’s a nice size, the numbers are large, so don’t need my specs, and it’s simple to use.
