Universal Travel Adapter Worldwide, Travel Plug Adapter
Universal Travel Adapter Worldwide, Travel Plug Adapter Worldwide With 2 USB C & 2 USB Travel Adaptor All in One International Travel Adapter Universal Charger Power Adapter for European EU US UK AUS
User Tips:
1.This universal travel adapter does not convert voltage.
2.Please check that the devices plugged into the usb travel plug are rated for the local voltage.
3.Please don’t use the universal plug adaptor with the appliance higher than max power rate such as flat iron, hair dryer, steam iron, hot water heater, coffee maker, etc.
4.Please do not use the worldwide travel adapter with USB C in damp areas.
Great little plug that means you can charge a lot of things at same time.
Only 2 downsides. It has an annoying blue light which lights up the room at night. I’ve had to cover it up. It essentially takes up 2 sockets once you have plugged in some wires.
Is good for travel and works well but then since it was more towards one side, the devices cannot be left to dangle or the plug will come out. generally ok though and is value for money
This small block does the job and is easy to pack.
The pins to contact the sockets do need to be pushed out firmly to lock into place. At first it seems that they won’t stay firm, enough to go into the sockets, as the socket resistance pushes back on the pins, but a bit of fiddling around will probably demonstrate how to make them firm enough. The sliders on the side of the block do need to be clicked in place for the best results.
For fitting into 2 pin US style sockets [also Mexico] the biggest problem is the orientation of the socket slots, as the weight of the block is likely to cause it to tilt outwards, and lose contact. However it can charge up to four different devices simultaneously.
There are larger devices which have a cable, usually a 3 pin US plug and a set of sockets in a block. They tend to be more expensive, and would take up much more room in bags for travellers. Some converter plugs are also 3 pin units, which may give better stability in some sockets, but may not work in locations where only 2 pin sockets are available because of mechanical constraints.
There are 2 pin to 2 socket extension US cables available – and also 3 pin to 3 socket US cables – but they are relatively expensive in the UK. Visitors to the US may find that they can buy these cheaply in hardware stores, and add them to the collection of useful gadgets for travelling. Such cables could work well in conjunction with this small multi way power block, and should largely overcome the issue of the block falling out of wall sockets – which it has a tendency to do.
There is a small blue light which comes on when contact is made with the power socket.
The other good thing about this small block is that it can cope with up to 4 outputs. Even though other adapter sockets may work well enough – and be similarly compact – and may even be firmer in the sockets, some hotel rooms do not have enough sockets either available or accessible enough to be useful to charge the range of gadgets many travellers carry with them nowadays.
So even though there are some issues with this small block, I have rated it as 5 stars, as in some situations it will do the job where “better” devices won’t! I hope that makes sense to some people. 🙂
Very small size and switches easily between different plugs for different countries. However found that for instance if switching to use UK 3 pin the rest of the adaptor obstructs the 13 amp socket in/off switch.
I have had a rather satisfactory experience with this Universal Travel Plug Adapter. One of the first things to strike me about this adapter was its lightweight design, which contributes to its practicality as a travel accessory. Despite its compact size, it doesn’t compromise on functionality, proving to be a reliable companion on my trips. The adapter’s smooth finish adds to its appeal, resulting in a product that feels well-made and durable, far from appearing cheap or substandard.
The adapter is equipped with a blue indicator light that illuminates when it’s plugged in. While this feature is helpful in daylight to confirm the connection, it can be a bit bothersome during the night. The brightness of the light is quite strong, which could be a distraction for light-sensitive sleepers. However, this is a minor inconvenience that can be overlooked when considering its overall performance and utility.
The only significant downside I found was the total USB output. With 3.4A at 5V spread across all four USB ports, the charging speed can be somewhat slow, especially when multiple devices are plugged in simultaneously. It’s a drawback worth noting for those who need to charge multiple power-hungry devices at the same time. Nonetheless, given its compact, lightweight design and the quality of its build, this adapter still does a decent job for the occasional traveller.
I have just used this on holiday. And I have to say, it is probably the best adapter I’ve used. The issue I’ve had with similar adapters is that they are quite heavy and so they don’t really stay secure in the wall. This one is a bit lighter and more compact, so it feels a bit more sturdy when plugged in.
My phone charges fine, as well as my watch.
My one qualm is that the USB ports are on the bottom when plugged in, the placing of these ports is quite inconvenient. I would still buy this, as the other advantage far outweighs this.
This is a great travel adaptor, it has all the main 3 plugs for travels, then has the plug to plug devices in as well as USB, save a lot of space carryings separate mobile chargers.
This Poukey Universal Travel Adapter became my trusty sidekick on a recent globetrotting escapade. With a medley of plug options and two USB-C ports, my tech arsenal was always juiced up and ready to go. The fast-charging feature meant more time exploring and less time tethered to an outlet.
Safety-wise, it’s got the creds – UKCA and CE certificates – giving me peace of mind while charging my precious gadgets abroad. The built-in 8A fuse is the unsung hero, standing guard against the dreaded voltage spikes.
Design? Sleek as can be. It’s compact enough to slip into my carry-on without a fight, and the retractable plugs are a nifty touch, keeping it tidy and trip-ready.
But here’s the rub – while it claims universal compatibility, some off-the-beaten-path destinations might still stump it. And, if you’re charging multiple devices at once, prepare for a bit of a power juggle.
Still, for the wanderlust warriors, this adapter is a pocket-sized powerhouse, transforming any socket on the planet into your personal power hub.
This is surprisingly small considering all the various international power connectors it has built in. I like the fact it has 4 USB sockets too (2 x USB-A and 2 x USB-C). The power rating of the USB sockets is not particular high if you were hoping for fast charging support, but it’s intended to be an all-rounder. This will definitely be travelling with the family over the years and I hope it lasts, which I’m sure it will.
Highly recommended !
This Universal travel adapter/charger is perfect for my travel needs. It is small and lightweight and will fit easily into my hand luggage. It can be used in the US, Australia, the EU, the UK and many more. It really seems to cover worldwide. It has 2 sliders on one side to adjust the electric socket to the country you are in. It also has 2 x USB A’s and 2 x USB C ports so although it only has 1 electric socket in it you can charge or use 5 devices at once as according to the listing, it supports 100 to 240V, 50/60Hz, Max load 8A. Max power 1920W at 240VAC, 800W at 100VAC. It has fast charging and a built in auto resetting fuse to keep the adapter safe. I am pleased with this adapter/charger and it has gone straight into my travel bag.
