Auto focus is really helpful
Clear picture and has many features which is brilliant.
I can plug my chromecast in, share my phone screen and many more
You can mount it multiple ways and adjust the settings
Great projecto
Easy to use and setup, works really well in dark room, but when compared to my brother’s considerably more expensive projector it’s more impacted by light. Has some decent streaming apps, but not as many as most smart TVs. Sound is decent for price, but to get that real cinematic experience you need to connect with a better sound system. If you want as every day TV it would be good to have a coaxial connector and free view, but this is a rarity for projectors!
Picture quality is clear and really bright even beter when there is no ambient light.
I project on my wall which is about 3m away from the projector and it gives me a full screen size definitely feel like I’m in the cinema every time
The auto focus is excellent everytime I switch on it refocuses the screen ti find the perfect size to match the distance. You also use the focus button in the remote to make the screen clear or less clearer depends on your preference
Sounds is very good on its own but even better with Bluetooth speaker connected gives a cinema effect. This is easy to connect to Bluetooth.
I use a fire stick to connect which works well but I also use the built in apps like amazon and netflix which is also works perfectly fine too.
The projector is not too noisy but you can hear the projector noise if the volume is really low.
June 17th: After continuing to us this projector for a little over 4 weeks after my initial review i will be increasing my Score to 4 stars i noticed after fiddling with the cable that for some reason the projector didnt have a burn in issue but for some reason when the cable is no seated correct this happens
I haven’t used it much so far but what I can definitely say is that it’s very easy to setup, love that it’s got built-in netflix, amazon prime, and Disney+. The picture is very sharp and clear, the projector has got an auto focus which works just great. It looks stylish and it’s quiet. I’d definitely recommend using a bluetooth speaker as it’ll create a cinema-like experience. Overall think it’s a great value for money and we’ll definitely recommend it.
Heavy and good-looking enough to feel high-quality. Beautiful documentation in the box, including manual and quick (3-year!) warranty-registration. High-quality-feeling remote control. Decent, big lens; shows the designer was focussing on quality. Autofocus brilliant. Linux interface responsive and full-featured.
Has manual and auto focus and de-keystoning, and full control over picture variables, sound features, etc. All the wireless connections work beautifully, although streaming video from YouTube has so far shown lots of image break-up. Not sure of that is the machine or my network, and anyway it’s not what I bought it for so I don’t care.
I will use it for projecting art onto canvases to then paint, so the 50% zoom feature means I can get the image small (and sharp and bright) enough to fit the size of canvases I use.
Also to experiment with Qlab theatre software as video projector via wireless HDMI input.
With the standard 30% off offer I paid 265.99; for this price the machine is excellent in a darkened-room (700 ANSI lumens is not a lot, but this machine is very inexpensive).
Highly recommended so far. Although I’ve only had it a day, with a 3-year warranty I’m a happy bunny.
My experience of using my K9 has been amazing. It was packaged really well. The build quality is fantastic, it feels really high quality. I love the cloth on the front and the lens cap. The connectivity is great with two HDMI ports and two USB ports. The remote control is nice to use and also feels high quality. I love the quick access buttons for Netflix and Amazon Prime.
The set up procedure was great, it was so simple to adjust everything to how I wanted it.
The projected image is amazing. It’s really sharp and feels like I’m at the cinema. I actually prefer watching the projector to my 4k UHD TV. Auto focus and auto keystone work well.
The fan is pretty quiet and can barely be heard over whatever I’m watching, even at low volume.
It’s worth playing with the brightness, contrast and saturation to achieve the best picture quality.
Overall, buying my K9 has been a great experience.
The only very slight negative is that the USB port will only accept a memory stick formatted to 32GB. If it could take a higher capacity, the projector would be perfect.

Before buying this device I read most of the reviews, including the non-5 star ones, trying to get a consensus of opinion and overall view of what this device offered. In the end I hit buy and waited for the package to arrive.
The device arrived safely and was well packaged (both within the Amazon box, and in the retail packaging). Set up was straight-forward and I was able to be up and running within a few minutes, casting images and video from my mobile phone.
The clarity of the images and accuracy of colour representation are surprisingly very good. It also offers the ability to adjust the displayed image, enabling the resultant picture to be in sharp focus and to be displayed as a true rectangle rather than a trapezium, etc.. The picture quality is indeed very good, particularly at this price point.
Sound is also very clear, although this can be to set of Bluetooth headphones or speaker if preferred.
Overall, I’m very happy with my purchase and can recommend this product.

It’s been a few weeks since I have bought the projector and I can now share my experience.
The picture quality is great. It provides the full HD 1080P resolution. We tried it indoor in kids bedroom and in the living room. Great results. Then we tried it outdoor in the garden while having a campfire. It was equally good and kids loved it.
The built in smart apps like Netflix, YouTube and Amazon Prime video is a big plus. It means we can all enjoy the family movie time when you have already signed in to your account. Seamless. We recently took this with us on a road trip and the kids downtime after a busy time out and about really was a breeze.
The built in android compatibility and IOS mobile attachment meant that we could easily screenshare our holiday pictures from our phones for the whole family to enjoy and reminisce our facourite holiday moments.
The projector comes with the Dolby Audio speakers. The sound quality is great but if you want to have a truly in home cinema experience, then I would recommend to get external speakers with woofers. It comes with HDMI, USB and AV inputs so plenty of options to connect external devices. We attached the nintendo switch on this for the kids and had a ball.
The projector set up was as easy as plug and play. No complex menus or settings – it auto focuses on the screen, assessing its distance from the wall or screen. Light weight and easily portable, I would highly recommend the WIMUS 700 ANSI smart projector.

This is a great compact projector with all the connectivity that you could need to plug and play from most devices wired or wireless. Having owned other older projectors before, the autofocus and auto keystone feature is so good. I tend to move my projector to different locations so it makes setting it up each time much quicker.
– Inbuilt Streaming Apps
The projector has Linux built in which comes with various apps preinstalled: Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube being the most popular ones. Once you’ve connected it to your wifi, it’s really easy to start watching something straight away. PLUS! There’s a speaker built in too which means you only have to plug in power to be able to start watching things. The speaker gives out pretty good sound. For its size it does give off respectable bass.
– Autofocus & Keystone Correction: Hassle-Free Setup
The projector has 6D auto keystone correction which means it’s super easy to set up your screen. It also lets you override the auto function if it’s not quite right. You can also zoom in / out if you have limited space. Once the auto function gets going, it’s done in about 3 seconds. There’s also buttons on the remote that allow you to refocus straight away.
There’s an adjustable foot on the bottom of the projector to raise or lower where it’s projecting. It’s based on quite a tight screw thread which means you can adjust it accurately which is especially important on a projector as a very small change to height makes a big difference a few meters away where it’s being projected.
– Visuals
Visuals are pretty crisp and vibrant. I’ve been using it to watch films and TV series. I’ve used some very high definition video footage to test it out and it comes out great. Even with lights nearby, your visual experience isn’t negatively affected very much. I’ve also used it to show big spreadsheets and generally it copes well. The really small text is a bit blurry, but that’s in part because I’m projecting onto a wall that has some light imperfections.
– Connectivity
You can connect pretty much any device to it through WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, streaming and mirroring from iOS, Android, or Windows. There are 2 HDMI in ports, 2 USB prots an RJ45 port (cat 5 cable) and a headphone jack.

I’m very happy with this projector. It’s got great connectivity, is very easy to set up for the first time and every subsequent time when moving it around.
This projector has overly exceeded my expectations as i did not expect it to come packed with so many features.
I bought the projector to elevate our movie night experiences specially with the kids. The projectors picture quality is unbelievable & it was extremely straight forward to set up and start using. Came with an easy to follow user manual, and an iOS wireless screen casting device which works flawless with my iphone 14 pro max. There were no complicated wires and connections as it comes with various options to connect via.
It has auto focus feature that provides intense quality adjustment on any surface. The picture quality is so clear you would struggle to differentiate between a high-end TV and the projector. Build quality also is very good and as a whole it looks pretty sturdy.
The quality is not compromised regardless of the size you set the screen at which is also manual adjusted if needed. It also has a 4 point keystone adjustment feature to get the best display angle correctly positioned for viewing.
I was surprised at the sound quality even though i knew it was dolby sound system. Sound was very crisp and clear. I cant wait to watch movies with my children.

The remote is sleek and very user friendly. I am not a tech person so for me to be able to navigate the functions easily was essential. This remote does just that. My children watch Netflix all the time so having the option to access it at the touch of one button was very useful, along with accessing other apps like amazon prime and YouTube.
The projector itself is nice and compact, it also has the option of putting it in higher places as a permanant fixture using a tripod, which I am planning on doing. Its a sleek modern design would work very well with my interior.
Overall very impressed with the item especially at this price. Still finding out about new features. Would definitely recommend it to friends and family.
Truly awesome piece of hardware. From 1080p picture quality, I might upgrade to sky Q now to benefit from this brilliant projector. I couldn’t believe the audio quality, supporting dolby, this products is the only projector that you don’t need separate speakers. At first when I heard the sound I honestly thought I was listening to my ceiling speakers but in matter of facts It was the projector, a excellent surprise which made me realise how far this projector I take it is setting a benchmark now because I never thought I would hear audio loud/quality that I witnessed with this wimius k9.
At the moment I have the projector set to front projection desk mount but once like I am, more than happy I will be ceiling mounting it which with the sound, volume it generate I can enjoy the projector on It own without having to put it through my AV amp during the day as the picture quality in the daytime is brilliant, something I have always picked up with Wimius products that the clarity on all their projector that even when light the quality is perfect representing the pixels the source intended it to display but Wimius themselves recommends dark room but that Is only to fully benefit from a projector.
Manual it comes with will give us the confident Wimius cares about their products, customers. Support e mail will get answered rapidly, I enquired over a question I had over the app that was answered professionally with myself realising the app does not exist on linux systems. All video, audio, image format supported from what I can see. I’m watching/using with a 150″ screen with recommendation of distance 14.4feet but I think you can use a bigger screen but not recommended I don’t think but I would have confident that it would perform with a bigger screen without any noticeable loss of quality but Wimius only want to give you the very best out of the products.
Usual keystone correction settings with a all new four point keystone giving better control, either manually or go into settings and use auto focus.
Connecting Smart devices possible, android seems to be a breeze, I had my phone on the screen with separate IOS wireless screen cast device(wi-fi dongle) included to connects our IOS devices, I cannot wait to allow my children to connect to the big screen.
Built in smart OS system included with the major apps, Netflix, You tube to name a few.
I will come back In a few days time to update this projector. I do need to mount it on a ceiling and place my cables permently, I will be using the RJ45 jack that is on the projector, another brilliant offering eliminating especially in my household all the wi-fi traffic with possible interference, slowing of using apps.
From setting the device on to hearing the loud volume to the picture quality, all the apps that on there making the firestick redundant to another room this projector is brilliant, commenting on that due to what I have mentioned on here all the quality that if it wasn’t for Wimius all the other brands that we as enthusiasts projectors people would be paying into the thousands for the quality this K9 wimius products gives you.
Firstly I feel I should say that this is not my first Wimius projector.
I currently have a 4K one as the main one I use in my living room regularly and I previously had a 2nd one which I used in my spare room, however I gave it to my Mum because I wasn’t using it as much as I expected I would.
I recently moved house, and I now have an office that I use to work from home and I thought it would be useful to have a projector in this room, both for work and for chilling out with, and due to my previous excellent experiences with Wimius I decided to stick with a brand I know and love.
Their projectors are excellent, and this is no exception.
The unit itself is very stylish… white with a grey trim and just a few black details.
There’s an infra red port on the front and back (which allows for greater flexibility in where you situate it.
The sound from the projector is fantastic and fills the room – although I tend to use a bluetooth soundbar as I prefer the sound to come from the direction of where the screen is.
The fan, as with all projectors, can be heard, but once you have a movie or other sound in the room you don’t notice the fan noise at all.
The picture is sharp, and there are plenty of options to adjust (keystone both horizontal and vertical, a lens focus as well as a manual keystone dial) – you can adjust the zoom, just in case you need to fit into a smaller space on the wall.
It has 2 HDMI ports and 2 USB-A ports for input and comes with all the cables you would need to get started. The remote control (no batteries included) is as straightforward as any projector remote I’ve had before, so you will be up and running in no time (total set up time for me was less than 5 minutes from unboxing to watching a movie).
Once more, a fantastic yet low cost projector from Wimius.
