This is the second dash cam I’ve had as I wanted a bigger screen and having an android phone (pixel 7), I wanted to have Android auto in my car and this did not disappoint.
I love this and it’s a perfect upgrade for me car.
The software is great and only takes seconds to start up. The display if pin sharp and the footage from the dash cam is just brilliant.

Since getting my car I was wishing to add CarPlay, but most ways were 500+ or involved a lot of work. Whilst browsing for dashcams I stumbled upon this which was the hybrid of the two functions I needed at a remarkable price.
Upon arrival I opened it up and was surprised by the quality of the machine, as well as the accessories, the quick remove bracket is a smart touch, and USB C makes connecting simple.
Having used CarPlay all weekend since fitting, I now can’t believe I didn’t find this sooner, the fact it’s also wireless CarPlay is something I thought only came on new cars!
As it has a big memory card I set the video in the dashcam to 4K, it seems to handle both light and dark well, as well as winter low level sun.
The screen is very bright in the day, but at night the auto brightness function means it isn’t blinding as you’re driving, even at angles the screen is perfect to see meaning the passengers are able to see the music and nav.
Overall, it’s surprising how far technology has come along for all this for the price it is. My next step is to hardwire it in, swap over to the stick down dash mount, and install the reverse camera it came with, which was another item in the box above and beyond my expectations for the dashcam I initially looked for.
I can’t speak more highly of this excellent device for your car. Not only does it have a 4k 2 channel 2160P 170-degree wide angle front dash cam, and a 1080P 140-degree wide angle rear camera, but it comes with a host of other features. Included are wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, with real time GPS navigation, iOS AirPlay, Android Cast mirror link, and iOs Siri/Google Voice Assistant. So all in all it provides navigation, hands-free phone calls and plays music and messages. It even includes a 64Gig. SD card
The 6.25″ inch touch screen is discrete enough not to obstruct the driver’s view ahead, but large enough for all the apps. to be clearly visible.
It has so many features, it really needs to be seen and tried to be believed.
And above all, it is the easiest dash cam or other device of this type I have ever installed in a car. Mount it on the dash or on the windscreen, with all the fittings are included, then just connect the power supply from the 12v. source and conceal the wire under the dash and around the windscreen. Similarly, the rear camera is just as easy to install, and the wire hidden in the car’s trim.
So all in all, I thoroughly recommend this for your car.
I thought it would be difficult to setup , but it’s very easy specially it has a built in transmission and receiving system. , provided with additional back camera which is unexpected and helpful .back cam can’t be recorded but helpful in reverse parking
It also connects to your phone including CarPlay for apple and android devices as well but you need to know how to connect the back camera to use reverse the wiring stuff, which we can find on YouTube
Very satisfied with this camera, I bought this for my camper van because my rear curtains don’t allow enough light to really see anything through the interior of the van. Not a problem anymore! This thing is totally as advertised. Does everything it claims to. The night vision on the rear cam is absolutely amazing. there was even enough wire on the rearview cam to run it through my extended camper van and mount it to the back door. wiring was pretty straightforward and was able to wire it directly into my fuse box. I’m not a professional and it was pretty easy to set up.

Got my carplay device a few weeks ago and I have been using it almost daily. Initial impressions were that it was really easy to just use from the get go. It also had a really nice solid feel, almost like a phone and a similar size too. The camera is a fantastic extra which I havent really used much but I have looked at the recordings and its excellent quality.
The little extras, like the USB slot that sits above the charger is a really nice bonus and well thought out and its got a red light so you can spot it in the dark.
The device itself does everything I expect it to, the interface is responsive, and its intuitive. I can play directly from my spotify playlist and it uses google maps for my navigation. I am very happy with the product.
I connected the device to my phone via Bluetooth using the usual process. No problem. From then on it is just like using your phone on a big screen. It plugs into your 12v port and has a handy USB plug so you don’t lose out on a socket.
Magnetic disconnection from the stand enables quick release for safe storage.
The screen is about the size of a mobile phone and easy to see and view. Very clear map view in Google maps. Touch screen for navigation is very clear.
Front rear camera is excellent as shown in the photos. Comes complete with an SD card to record footage.
The voice recognition is just like your phone. Very clear and picked up my voice very well. You do need to remember to be in an area which receives good mobile data to use.
I have a 2012 Focus. Unlike other screens like this I found that I was able to hear my music through the cars speakers in Android Auto mode, this was easy to establish via the connection settings.
I am happy to recommend this product. It has come with a rear view camera, I haven’t tested this yet but will update my review once I do.
I wanted to replace my current Carplay with a smaller screen and found this little gem that has both a front and rear camera which allows for supervision of my car as well as allowing me to use the other functions the item has to offer. The screen is just a bit bigger than my iPhone, so it is perfect for my car. You can use a memory card to record from both cameras. Having my car vandalised recently, this is perfect for my peace of mind.
The other extra is that you can use an extra USB cable to charge your phone or other item, as the plug for the car has an extra entry. This is my favourite part of the Carplay, as I had no other means to do so.
The other characteristics are the same as my previous Carplay: voice command, phone mirroring, excellent GPS and the possibility to tell the machine to call or read messages for your safety when you are driving.
They have also a customer service on Facebook, which I used to get some help with the installation. The installation is as easy as ever, but make sure you do not have your Bluetooth connected to another item, hehe!
