70mai Dash Cam M300, 1296P QHD, Built in WiFi Smart Dash Camera for Cars, 140° Wide-Angle FOV, WDR, Night Vision, iOS/Android Mobile App
Nice packaging. Well presented. Clear instruction manual. Micro memory Card NOT included . I have fitted a 64gb card. Mounting ti the windscreen is clear. Link to the phone is clear. Picture quality is great..
I now need to evaluate night driving. All other aspects to be reviewed over time.
Turns itself off after about 15 minutes for no good reason. While it’s recording it’s ik. But clearly it’s almost bound to have turned itself off at a crucial moment.
Not recommended
The overall quality of the product is fine. It connects to your phone very smoothly. I recommend everyone to buy it but please note there is no screen on the recorder so you need to connect your phone every time you wish to review the footage.
Good quality and connection, easy to use only problem I found was the lag in the video when downloaded and played in another device, but it is normal when played in a VLC player.
I bought this about a month ago and must say it’s a great little dash cam. Fits neatly behind the mirror easy to fit, but be warned you only get one chance with the sticky pads
Really easy to set up and use and does the job of something 3 times the price
Make sure the memory card you put in is an up to date new one as recommended. I tried to use a one I had in my existing non WiFi dashcam that I had had for some time. The camera wanted to format it every time I switched on. Also, you need to set up a membership details plus a password on the app site. I thought this was the password to use when setting up the camera to link to your mobile but it actually the one specific to the camera which is mentioned. In the instructions. Also make sure you position the camera where the windscreen wipers clear the screen. I put mine behind the rear view mirror. I would add that I am a bit of a techno and as such it didn’t take me too long to set it up especially after I put the new SD card in. I was very pleased with the quality of the camera videos.
Exaclty what is says it is. Simple to use and set up. Had to 24hrs now. Took less than 15 minutes to set up (app and fitting of camera). Another 5 mintues to correctly hide the wiring. Connection straight away. Picture quality is fine and no issues at night (last night was heavy rain and still ok). For the price I don’t think you can ask for more.
How long will it last, who knows but for the price I’m not expecting miracles. It is what it is and that’s more than enough. Will purchsse another for my other car.
You need to format the SD card for the videos recorded to be saved to your phone gallery, press button three times on the side to format it. Good quality good camera
I wanted a dash cam that I could hide behind the driving mirror hence this model, which seems to be well made and easy to in-store. However, the same cannot be said of the supplied instructions, which were sparse in the paper form, and fairly impenetrable in the version on my phone. After a weekend of saying ‘oh, tut’ , oh dear’ and what a perfectly silly idea’ I got it up and running. Recorded image quality looks good – time will tell!
Issues connecting the app to the device. Connected to the device WiFi fine but wouldn’t show the live feed in the app. After trying several fixes, reinstalled the app several times and finally got it working. Image quality seems very good for the price.
Maybe i didnt read the description properly but it does not video when the car is turned off or you come away from your car as it connects to the app which is abit annoying. To get parking surveillance you have to buy an additional cable which goes into the fuse which i cant do myself and is not cheap, no idea. It has good qualitly video and stores the videos on your phone but i am annoyed about it not having parking surveillance as that is the main reason i bought it. But other than that it is a good dash cam.
Absolute bargain! Managed to get this whilst it was on offer for 31 and it’s worth every penny. Really easy to install and the app makes set up fast and simple too. I had it in my car and set up within about half an hour. The video quality is pretty good also for the price you pay. Recommend if you don’t have lots to spend on a dash cam for sure!
To start with for everyone who is stumped the password to log into the WiFi to begin with is 12345678 then I think you choose your own.
Took me ages to see that written at the bottom of the app where it says connect dash cam.
Once all set up it’s pretty decent camera..I actually managed to tuck the lead in!
Ps the sound on the video might be bad but on the app it’s really clear.
Video quality good .. you have to keep connecting it if you wish to view videos but no hardship
The dash cam from Halfords was worse then this for connection and that cost over 100.
Microphone is amazing too!
Haven’t tried it at night yet.
I recently purchased a dash cam for my vehicle and I must say, it has exceeded all my expectations. The dash cam I chose is simply outstanding and has become an indispensable part of my daily commute. Here’s why I believe it’s a worthwhile investment:
Crystal Clear Video Quality: The dash cam captures high-definition footage, ensuring every detail on the road is recorded accurately
Reliable Loop Recording: The loop recording feature ensures that I never miss a moment. Once the storage is full, the dash cam automatically overwrites the oldest footage, guaranteeing continuous recording. I no longer worry about running out of storage space or manually deleting older files.
Seamless Night Vision: Even in low-light conditions, the dash cam’s exceptional night vision technology captures clear footage.
G-Sensor and Emergency Recording: The built-in G-sensor detects sudden impacts or collisions and immediately locks and saves the footage. This feature has proven invaluable, as it provides concrete evidence in case of accidents or disputes on the road.
I’m a little confused as this is the second 70mai camera I’ve bought without a screen. The first unfortunately speaks in Chinese but still works a treat as a rear camera. It used to be in the front and the indicator lights were visible to the right hand drive, these one are visible to the passenger side. I’ve installed it with the rear label up, if I’d have installed it upside down it might have auto rotation? Now I’ll never know as it’s a permanent fix. Neymind. I’m sure it’ll tell me if the SD card isn’t working. It’s a great camera though, better than the more expensive one with a screen as the parking surveillance killed the internal battery. This camera has shutdown settings for being permanently powered so if the battery goes it’ll still be usable with a little modification.
