Excellent quality compared to others within the same price range and nicely padded around the chest and belly. Size M fits my 2 year old collie x spaniel perfectly, can move freely and appears to be escape proof so far. Seems well made and hopefully will last a while. No complaints whatsoever 🙂
Ordered harness to support our 12 1/2 year old dog who is beginning to slow down and struggling with stairs etc,. Was so impressed purchased this one for our 9 year old although she has no mobility issues at present be hand when out walking to help her over stiles and obstacles
Our Lurcher managed to get out of a standard harness but not this one. It works really well and is good quality. You can tighten it as much as you wany but it’s still comfortable when correctly set up. We use the top harness connector when long lining and then connect that to a collar when walking with a short clip and connect the lead to the collar. It works well.
Bought three, for three very different shape dogs. Love them. Dogs seem more confident walking and don’t tend to pull as much. Great handles for holding them while people pass on route
Since her first harness, our staffie pup has been an escape artist! This is our 5th harness. She’s almost a year old now and for the very first time we feel she is safe. Totally secure, comfortable – a previous harness made her chest very sore – and looks smart. Would highly recommend. The only thing I would change, if possible, are the plastic buckles. She’s a chewer, so I would prefer metal, but frankly, having an escape proof harness is more important to us.
We used to have a Julius K9 harness but whenever my dog got spooked or wanted to go in a different direction than me, she’d get out of it within seconds. For her safety, I had to try something and this harness has been a life saver (literally!!) no longer do I have to worry every time I’m near a road that she could get out of the harness. She tried her best when we first got the harness, but there was no way she was getting out. Having two clasps made a huge difference and despite her best efforts as she could not get out. Plus the handles really help me guide her when I need to or move her somewhere safer, even if she’s being a nuisance.
We bought one of these harnesses for our big Rommy rescue, who is stubborn and almost pulled out of his two-point harness. This one seems to have stymied his efforts, so we bought another for our little Rommy rescue, who is less stubborn but an odd shape (kind of collie-ish but with a less-deep chest). In both cases, the straps adjust for a perfect fit, and the sizing given is accurate. We’ve had one harness almost two years, so it’s certainly durable. I’d recommend this harness to others.
Our Lna was an escape artist with her last couple of harnesses. This completely changed with this harness. It is a little bit harder to put on because you’ve to lift their leg to put it on but she can’t get out of it when it’s on. She was also very stubborn with coming home when on walks or coming back inside so the handle on top is so handy so lifting her back up or guiding her back to the house. Fits my Cocker Spaniel well, she is slightly unusual size as small for her length but plenty of adjustment to give a good fit. Holds her securely and makes it easy to grab her and lift her by the handle in an emergency. Easier to fit than it might appear, if you get your dog to put its front foot through the neck /chest strap then clicking the 2 buckles is easy.
It’s been absolutely brilliant! She has not got out of this one and we’ve been using it daily for 6 months now. My dog does her daily walks, agility, mantrailing and hiking in hers all without issue. The handles are also really helpful for getting her over stiles by myself.
It’s great quality and value for money, so far it’s got no signs of wear or damage. It’s nicely padded, adjustable enough to get a good fit and comfortable enough for her to wear for several hours at a time, including sleeping in the car. It’s also easy to get one and off and can be easily cleaned when muddy.
100% would recommend.
The sizing of these harnesses do seem abit odd though – the amount the front strap can be adjusted, does seem to come up slightly small around his torso/chest girth and the harness itself is rather long in body length (neck to tail/back length) for perhaps medium sized dogs in my opinion.
I have a 13kg Springer Spaniel and he is by no means overweight, went for the medium size, but he could’ve perhaps done with a larger size which wouldve provided a longer strap around his chest girth (this strap has been adjusted to the maximum it will allow), however the larger size harness would then been far too long from his neck to tail/back length, hope this makes sense!
I’d suggest triple checking when sizing up your dog to ensure the best fitting harness size.
