There is a cookbook in japanese for the trangia mess tin so there is definitely a following here. Four people saw my lemmon pepper chicken and buttered brussel sprouts at the range and ordered it right away. I usually prep lunch to eat healthier but it made a nice frying pan for eggs for two in Hoh Rainforest and fajitas for two in the Sol Duc hotsprings. Most stable on an esbit pocket stove. Handle does not lock to retain the lid but a hair band will solve that problem and you have a spare hair band. Handle stays cool but the plastic will burn so watch out. The coated aluminum does resist sticking so I’m glad I went with this produc

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersConsidered buying a plastic (yuck) microwave rice cooker & then realized that I could use this in a normal kitchen or in the outdoors with a few hot coals or a camp stove. I also have a non-anodized version of this cook kit that I’m equally pleased with. Had to have this since it’s got measurement markings, is more non-stick, & tougher. Bush-crafting events will see usage over standard items, since it doesn’t fall over into fire (too common occurrence) and has a fitted lid to resist ashes. I’m thinking baking and frying will come out well b/c aluminum conductivity is unequalled. A Hot Logic is my intended pairing when car camping.
