Having got used to multiple screens in my home office I needed an additional screen whilst visiting clients. A colleague bought this and said it was a game changer and he wasn’t wrong. Great value and great quality.
Really impressed, the screen is a great size, quite sturdy, has good quality stand. Clarity is great. Really easy to set up & no additional wire purchases required (it comes with everything)
I really love having a travel monitor for when I am working away from home or office. I use with a laptop. It does use up the battery a bit but not enough to discourage use. I am fine without a separate case as the case I have for my laptop fits both the screen and laptop without any issue
I don’t like unplugging my monitors from my home PC so I bought this to use with my work laptop, great monitor, much better than my laptop screen. I wish the stand thing was a bit better but I might just buy one to mount it on instead so I can have a bit more height to the momito
Ok so I bought that to use it when work from home and it was excellent choice. I am using this on daily basis and I have to admit I bought because it was on offer, and frankly I didn’t believe it it will be any good. I was wrong. It is great product and price was very good. I’m very happy I got it and I will say 100% worth it to buy. Thank you
We purchased this to see how it might work as a second laptop screen for travelling. So far we’re really happy with it. It’s thin, it powers from the laptop. The screen itself is a Matt finish so not as bad as the glossy laptop screens in the sun. Would be even better if it came with its own case / pouch for travelling. Only issue we’ve found to date is that whatever setting of brightness you set it to, you have to reset it to that each time you turn it on.
This was a great addition to my home office. It’s one lead you plug into the laptop, that’s it. It draws all its power through the same lead and you can have it landscape or portrait.
I bought this for my gaming setup as i was missing my second monitor for discord and just watching videos when playing games so i got this . I was very surprised by the picture quality the stand is super sturdy and it has speakers that i was not aware of so that is a bonus . The only downside of this is that the cables have no way to be hidden so if you dont like your setup to have spaghetti cables be aware !
I use this for work and it has been very useful. Connectivity is great, image is great and is perfect for what I am using it for. Also as a second screen for my computer, it is brilliant.
I work covering 4 different branches so being able to just set up with an extra monitor that fits in my laptop bag is brilliant. The picture quality is good. Running on usb-c only is brilliant that I only need one cable, however I have used it at home on the PS5 using the HDMI cable and it works perfectly. My one improvement would be to increase the brightness higher however I wander if that’s the limit of running from laptop powered USB-C only.
Arrived in good time, safe and in great condition.
Fantastic and very handy monitor, great resolution and looks brilliant attached to my MacBook Air.
Very portable too, so totally recommend for those on the go a lot, or just as a second monitor. It’s easy to connect and gets recognised as a second monitor instantly.
Even names the display on the settings automatically, so quick to differentiate between the two monitors when making adjustments.
Dual used between windows and Mac, each requiring a different set up and cable connection.
Works well, pics up almost instantly to be used wherever and whenever.
Screen quality isn’t the greatest but more than fit for purpose especially if it’s on offe
I bought this monitor to work with my ThinkPad T450 runing ArchLinux. I was a bit apprehensive as not all hardware is compatible with the Linux operating system. I connected the monitor from the computers’ mini-display port to the monitors’ mini HMDI port via a conversion cable and it just worked….. So I bought another! I connected the second one to the old VGA port using a Foinnex VGA to HMDi convertor unit (available at Amazon). So Now I have portable three monitor setup. Absolutely no issues thus far so 369.98 thoroughly well spent IMHO.
This is an excellent product. I normally do not write reviews but I feel compelled here.
I am a pro videographer and photographer so I needed an external monitor for my MAC M1.
I am normally quite conscious of my workflow so using an external monitor helps with masking and such with video editing.
The colours are waaaaaay off – so as some others have stated, buy a Spyder X pro and calibrate the display.
The monitor itself is well build in an aluminium body with a hard faux leather back which acts like a stand.
There is a small mini hdmi cable and 2 USB-C ports which are self-powered, so if you use a USB-C cable from your mac book it’ll immediately work as a second display and you don’t have to do anything. It works right out of the box.
If you plug it into your phone it is self powered and you get either a mirrored display or if you have a decent Samsung phone you’ll get Samsung Dex which acts as a desktop experience.
If you have clients you visit and want to use this to showcase a video – this is a great investment. Just buy a monitor calibration tool to sort out the colour inbalance / white inbalance !
I was looking for a portable screen to use with my lap top for work purposes and I saw the great reviews for this item. I decided with a bit of trepidation, given it isn’t a small sum of money if it didn’t work out and wouldn’t connect to my lap top etc. to give it a go and get one.
I was thrilled when it arrived. It is well packaged and put together, the screen looks of great quality. There are a number of different leads depending on your needs, meaning you don’t have to hunt around for a lead of have the added delay of buying what you need.
The colour and screen quality is brilliant and I couldn’t be more pleased. All I did was connect the cable and turn it on and it sprung in to life, mirroring my lap top screen. A small windows setting change and I assigned my laptop as screen one and the portable screen as screen two and I was good to go.
I am so pleased with my purchase. I rarely leave reviews as I have so little free time, but this was worth logging in to give positive feedback for. Great produc
I absolutely love this monitor! It’s vastly superior to the rubbish low-quality 11.6-inch TFT monitor that I’ve suffered with for two years. I’m currently utilising this primarily as an IP cam monitor and the difference in overall quality is incredible.
It’s super slim and feels every bit as premium as a high-end screen or tablet. There are two USB C inputs and one mini HDMI input providing 1080p@60Hz resolution. There’s also a headphone output. The IPS anti-reflective display is crisp and clear with only a tiny bezel. Colour accuracy isn’t great out of the box, but it’s easily adjusted using the excellent OSD menu. The one feature I wasn’t aware of but so glad to see is auto-brightness, which works perfectly!
I’ve got nothing but positive things to say about this monitor. For just shy of 90, it’s well worth it!
I ran with an Azorpa 15″ attached to any and all of my Macbook, Gaming Laptop and Steam Deck, typically with 8 hours of usage every day. I loved it.
When it died, I upgraded to this 17″ version, and it’s every bit as good. Clear picture quality, good colour setup, responsive enough for (non-competitive) gaming. I mostly code Roblox experiences and Unreal Engine while building detailed assets in Blender – this screen is perfect for both, with no loss of sharpness, instability, or flicker.
I use it for work with Zoom or Teams on this screen, and video is just great.
It stands up well as a second gaming monitor – in MS Flight Sim, for example, I like to keep my Radio and VFR Map panels on this screen.
As a “bigger” Steam Deck screen, this works brilliantly – I haven’t had to mess with any settings, and Elden Ring, Cyberpunk, and AC look great. (For performance, I’ve switched over to running a lot of my games through GeForce Now on the deck – better graphics, much less battery use even when this screen is on, though I do power this screen with the supplied PSU plug).
Not often does a product work exactly as I hoped it would… This is one of those rare occasions where the product works EXACTLY how I hoped it would.
One short USB-C cable (included in the box) connects from my 14″ Macbook Pro M1 to the monitor which not only powers but passes picture to it as well. The screen is incredibly thin, has a small bezell and a detatchable magnetic fold-out kick stand case that acts as a screen cover when folded down (think iPad case). So I can literally just pull out one cable and fold this screen away and put it in my Macbook laptop case along with the Macbook when travelling.
The colours on this monitor from factory are WAY off, so it definitely needs calibrating. It’s a sub 100 screen after all. I used my Datacolour Spyder for this calibration and now the screen looks pretty good when side by side with my Macbook! Another tick! Screen brightness is good, but not as good as my Macbook Pro understandably and resolution is 1080p which is fine. Viewing angles are good and the screen is only semi-glossy so you don’t get a lot of glare from lights. Packaging was very classy and above expection for the cost. Keep your picture quality expectations realistic for the asking price and you’ll love this. It’s extremely affordable at the time of writing (95), and worth every penny in my opinion.
My only criticisms of this product are:
– The multi jog-wheel type button that’s used to control the menu functions. It is rather small and you have to depress it quite firmly to get a response. This is kind of fine because it keeps the design minimal and the exterior of the device flush, but I just have that gut feeling that the button *might* break after extended use or if someone is heavy handed with it. I will update this review if that does occur
– The screen has speakers built in somehow (rather thin!!), but unless you mute them (which I did immediately of course lol) you’ll hear a faint high-frequncy buzzing noise. Very luckily the high pitch noise goes away when you mute the sound output in the menu.
5 stars. Love it!!
I bought this to supplement my Steam Deck so I can still have the portability but with a larger screen, higher resolution, and smaller bezels! And this monitor is almost perfect for it. The only thing missing is the ability to use 40Hz. So you have to limit to 30 or 60fps on your Steam Deck. On my Steam Deck settings I’ve enabled a specific resolution for the external display of 1600×900 rather than full HD, so it doesn’t affect game performance too much having a larger resolution, and it’s still plenty sharp enough for this size screen. I increased Brightness to 100, Contrast to 75 (any higher will over expose highlights), colour temp on Warm. And I suspect a lot of people here (who have mentioned low volume) have completely missed the Volume setting under the Signal Source tab, which by default is set to 50%. Knock that up to 100! The audio is great for how small the speakers are. The Steam Deck also detects external display volume when adjusting, however the two settings are separate so increase both. Being able to just connect the Steam Deck to the monitor and actually power it too is amazing. But you will need to plug in a power adapter at some point. I use the Steam Deck’s own power supply to plug into the monitor and then it passes through to charge the Deck. Couldn’t have wished for better for this price. Brilliant!
Updated – Arzopa reached out to me and sent me a third screen which is perfect, the chassis appears to be made from aluminium not plastic so very robust. Guess I was just unlucky with the first 2.
Ive used it for a couple of days so far, works great with PC as second monitor for my 3D printing workflow as a hobbiest and also editing videos from drone footage. Kids have used it with their Nintendo switch which has great clarity. The built in speakers are ok considering the size but don’t expect surround sound!
My Arzopa customer service experience has been great, a lot better than other companies I’ve dealt with. If you do get unlucky and find dead pixels just reach out to Arzopa and they will sort it. I’ve updated to 4 stars, would be 5 stars had I received this condition first off.
Ordered my first one which arrived but on first connection screen had a single bright pixel in the bottom left, Amazon help told me to massage it but didn’t bring it to life! Returned for refund and ordered another. This arrived and unfortunately single bright pixel in the centre of the screen, so returned this too. Looks like a defective batch. Was on sale at 189 but appears not great quality control with this manufacturer.
I had an Asus external monitor back in 2020 but with lockdown and the lack of visiting client offices I sold it off. It was lovely but it was missing a crucial feature…pass through power from USB C. I am therefore delighted that this Arzopa monitor has this feature, and they don’t advertise it! It means I can plug a USB C Power supply in to one of the USB C ports then use the supplied cable to connect the display to my laptop USB-C port. The power pass through means the laptop charges up as well as sending the image to the display…brilliant news as my laptop, like most, only has one USB-C port.
The display is good for the price. Not as sharp as the laptop display when viewing icons and text but perfectly useable and looks great streaming 1080 Youtube. The speakers work surprisingly well but won’t win awards but again something my Asus display didn’t have.
The OSD lets you adjust the various usual settings but I find HDR mode (even when also activated on the laptop settings) is washed out and unusueable. I need to have a further play with that to see if it is any use.
I haven’t managed to connect my Huawei phone and get desktop mode enabled which would be useful but maybe that is more a phone issue than a display issue.
The price was 239.99 then an 80 discount code was applied. For 140 I am more than happy with it. I do wish Arzopa didn’t have so many displays listed though, very confusing figuring out the difference between them all. The A1 Gamut was the other choic which seems a similar spec but 1000:1 contrast rather than the 1200:1 on this one. For the 11 extra I am happy with this one.
I really like the screen. It’s easy to move around with it, not heavy at all. The included stand is also quite good and easy to use, just fold it backwards like an iPad.
I only use it as a second screen for office work, so I don’t need great picture quality but still I would say is good enough quality although it’s not very bright, colors are often a bit matte.
Sound is good. It includes different cables only one of them didn’t work for me, but I use the usbc-usbc one and that works just well.
What I love about it is that it doesn’t need to be plugged to electricity only to your laptop! I hate cables so that makes me super happy!! When working in a coffee shop for example I only need my laptop and the cable to connect both screens! No more cables, it’s sooo good!! Of course you must have power in the laptop, the double screen will use the power from the laptop or device you connect it to, it doesn’t have its own battery.
I’ve used the screen also to play with my nintendo switch and it works just well but not so bright colors.
I also like the size of it, it’s big enough to do most jobs and super thin and light. Also the margin around the screen is very thin!
I would say the only thing I didn’t like was that the colors are a bit washed out, but still pretty pretty good quality for its price!
