I was slightly sceptical of how good the quality of this product would be but I shouldn’t have been. Its so easy to install and the picture quality is fantastic. Couldn’t be happier with the product.
Make sure you charge it up before you install, but fitting in under 10 minutes definitely possible. So far really pleased. Have opted not to trust the adhesive pad and bolted to my 4×4
I’ve been using Auto-Vox products for a few years to give a clear view in the car of the back view from my 8m touring caravan. This recent unit is, in my opinion, their best yet. Great connectivity, and a super clear image in all light conditions. Customer service is second to none too. Vicky does a great job.
This camera system was so easy to fit to my motorhome and makes it so much safer to reverse, I am always afraid about children.

When I originally bought the backup camera, unfortunately it was broken as the power button was constantly on red so I reached out to customer service team on Friday night and instantly within minutes I got an email back from vicky which walked me through some troubleshooting which unfortunately didn’t work, however even during the weekend hours vicky was persistent on trying to resolve the issue I was having so in the end she offered me an exchange of the camera with an additional 15% off discount I am very satisfied with the very fast replies and how professionally she dealt with the issue at hand
Great little unit, only installed a week but works like a charm – it’s not an always on system and there is a small delay after you hit the button on the side of the screen to wake the monitor – but essentially I can now see behind the van when reversing which is all I really wanted.
On a side note the 12v charging cable arrived DOA and a quick email to the manufacturer promted a replacement part within a couple of days. Great aftersales service.

This isn’t my first Auto-Vox product but just as with my previous items I am extremely pleased with it!
The wireless reversing camera even arrived from Amazon the same day as I ordered it!
As stated on the camera description it was really easy to install in my Campervan and took just a few minutes – I placed the camera on the dash and plugged into the power cable into the 12v socket. Next I attached the camera bracket to the rear bumper using the supplied double sided tape, put the camera on the bracket and then turned it on.
Everything worked perfectly straight away!
The image on the screen is great and really clear – should make reversing my Campervan much easier from now on!
What a bit of kit this is so easy to setup I purchased one for my van and another that I’ve gotten to my caravan, they are a real good quality item lots of good reviews on YouTube literally takes 3 mins to setup no wiring at all, signal is superb, I also use it for when overtaking with the caravan I can turn the camera on to check that there is enough room to pull back into the lane, customer service is really good too and they refunded me 15% discount for purchasing another! Would definately recommend
After my positive experience with the AUTO-VOX rear mirror dash-cam, I decided to purchase their Solar Wireless Reversing Camera Kit from Amazon. It’s not up and running yet, but given my previous experience, I’m pretty sure this will exceed my expectations too.
Right out of the box, the packaging itself gives off a good impression—neat and secure, suggesting care in how AUTO-VOX presents their products. Just holding the camera and checking out the components, you can tell the build quality is solid. If it’s anything like the dashcam in terms of reliability and performance, I’m in for a treat.
Looking forward to diving into the installation process soon, and I have a good feeling this is going to be another win for my vehicle setup.
Bought this Wireless reversing camera as I was short of time before heading off on a trip and didn’t want to do any wiring. Again to save time I installed two magnets to hold the camera in a position so I could see to reverse onto my trailer. As there are no wires to the camera it can be mounted absolutely anywhere! So far it been used for reversing on to a trailer but it can then be mounted on the trailer to check the load and watch where you’re reversing we’ve also put in the back of the van to watch the contents in case anything moves.
In short the screen is not the biggest and you have to turn it on to view but there is a handy button on the plug so it’s no hardship and this then makes it so useful for other purposes. The solar charged battery on the camera has yet to show anything other than fully charged so it will be used in multi vehicles and multi positions a worthwhile purchase!
Unpacked and found a well made camera and monitor in the box along with instructions and the option to extend warranty.
This was going on back of our caravan. So removed the number plate whilst camera was in charge, didn’t need much charge as came nearly fully charged.
used the sticky pad and attached it to caravan behind where number plate sits. Very easy to do and nice and neat. Camera can then be adjusted to angle you desire. There is an option to remove it from the mounting plate and use your own method to mount but I was happy with the mount supplied.
Set up monitor and turned on, selected PAIR and turned camera on. All parties in no time and works very well with a nice clear picture with no freezing so far.
Overall very very happy with the camera and monitor and would recommend this to anyone who needs a back up camera.

Easy to set up and use – camera and screen came already pre-paired so set up time was minimal.
Only concern is the security screw, which is very small and potentially very easy to lose should there be a need to remove the camera from the plate as it doesn’t seem very secure.
Image on the screen is very clear. There are six presets for grid lines for reversing which makes it very easy to set up for your vehicle.
The holder for the screen could probably do with a little more resistance as it doesn’t seem too secure in the holder but we haven’t driven over any bumps to test this yet.
Overall very impressed.
It arrived well packed with everything needed to fit it to my car. A nice touch was a proper instruction booklet in 4 different languages, including “proper” English.
Before fitting I tried it out indoors to check everything was working. I put the camera on charge using the supplied USB-A – micro USB cable and charging was confirmed with a small red LED which turns green when fully charged. The monitor plugs into the supplied 12V car adaptor which also contains a useful USB-A socket for other accessories as well as the activation button. With everything connected up I switched on the camera and within a couple of seconds I had a clear picture. No setting up was necessary, it just worked.
The unit is designed to switch off the picture after a number of seconds which you can change in the menu system between 45 and 120 sec. Also, the picture can be inverted up and down and left and right.
Fitting to the car is easy, just temporarily remove your number plate, stick the camera bracket to the back of the number plate with the supplied adhesive pad and refit the number plate. The camera is attached to the mounting plate with a small screw. The necessary Allen key is also supplied. The monitor is clipped to the supplied mounting bracket which is fixed either to the windscreen or suitable smooth flat surface on the dashboard. Plug in the power adaptor and that’s it.
The picture is clear and bright but both brightness and contrast can be adjusted. Importantly as different vehicles have different shaped rear ends, the camera can be swivelled up of down to get the correct angle.
I also tried it on my motorhome and had no trouble with getting a perfect picture, even at the greater distance involved.
Be aware that it is not linked in any way to the reverse gear of the car so you do need to press the button on the power adaptor to activate it. Using it a few times a day the suggested battery life is a couple of months between charges. All in all I’m very pleased with it.
