Bought this to download some pictures of a usb stick to my phone. Didn’t work with my phone but it worked with tablet and I bluetoothed them to my phone from the tablet so I got what I wanted in the end. Very pleased with this product, good value for money as you get two.
They will do nicely as I have lots of USB sticks and these fill in for buying new type c ones. More space for me PC and car so a happy customer indeed.
Review of Avigers USB C to USB Adapter (3 Pack), Type C,
These small Type “C” to Type “A” adapters powerful, maximum charging rate 6 amps or 120 watts presumably at 20 volts although not specified.
They are OTG so transfer and receive data from a multitude of devices and theoretically should transfer at 10Gbps as advertised for USB “C” and thunderbolt 2/3/4 devices, plug and play as no drivers required or need to be installed.
The adapters seem solid and durable with their aluminium casing, not quite sure why the ports are coloured orange that used to define sleep and charge throughput, the laptop turned off but still charges a connected USB “C” device, that not mentioned in the description, somewhat odd as high power USB ports are usually green in colour.
However that said these adapters work well and as described in all respects, nice and handy.
With this adapter you can connect your old USB devices with the larger USB-A connector to a computer with only USB-C ports.
Speed is inline with conventional USB speeds. These are solid metal and seem to be well made. Definitely something to add to a laptop bag if you travel and may need to connect to older USB sticks.
