It is nicely dark and moody, a little more background story would have been nice. There are a few little twists in it as well. Music and sound effects go from quiet speech and noise to jump scare level bursts of sound that got a bit annoying.

A young woman inherits a run-down pub and discovers a dark secret within its basement – Baghead – a shape-shifting creature that will let you speak to lost loved ones, but not without consequence.
Baghead is an interesting and original concept for a horror, silly but good fun, the movie is well paced out with some creepy vibes and scares that look nice on a decent budget. Nothing gory this is purely good old supernatural stuff. The cast is decent and the music score is creepy enough, overall its certainly worth a watch, one of the best horrors of 2024 so far from this date. The movie is not as predictable as you might think and has an interesting ending that could lead to possible sequels but its best just left here.
Picture on the Blu-ray looks good in HD.
No features which is a bit of a cheap let down for a Blu-ray these days.

In the world of horror, you have remakes, prequels, reboots and set in the same universe..
Its great to see an original, creepy horror that just wants to tell a good story without building spin offs ..
As a big horror movie fan this film gets the thumbs up from me.
