This is such a cosy, soft blanket it’s perfect to snuggle up on the sofa with. It’s pretty big too, I’m 5’5 and it covers me from chin to foot with extra room left over. It also washes brilliantly and dries very quickly.
I bought this as an extra present for my daughter’s birthday. It’s a lovely soft throw and a nice colour. My daughter loves it. Can’t say how it turns out when washed yet.
Very happy with these blankets as they keep you lovely and warm so much so that I didn’t have to have the heating on at times. They are lovely and soft too. They wash well and you don’t have to iron them.
Purchased due to worn spring materess
Springs started to dig into u so purchased this on top of a duvet as extra comfort cheaper than a new bed , so now I’m sleeping on a duvet and a fleece blanket then a fitted sheet so comfy now might be a little warm for summer will survive for now
A top quality throw, so useful. Really silky feel to it. and it keeps its smart, high quality looks. The Sherpa stuff on the inside is very cosy. The item washes and dries very easily. I use it as a bed throw and it is the nicest one I have ever had. Would heartily recommend to anyone.
Bought 2 of these in the end. They are not hugley thick and heavy but they are nice and soft and keep you warm on a sofa. I have washed both a few times and they come out nice and soft still. Not sure they will last years and years but they are doing ok so far from daily use. They are large as well. So two people can cuddle up underneath one certainly. Would definitely recommend.
I’m really pleased with this super blanket. Excellent quality and a lovely soft peach/pinkish colour. Deliciously warm and cosy. Perhaps a little oversized for my double bed, but overall very pleased with my purchase, and I can recommend. At least when we move in bed the blanket stays with us, and big enough to share. I bought the double size for my armchair. I think this was wise. I am 5’5′. It covers my feet when I pull it up to my chest. A single size blanket from this range would a be a bit short.
It’s double fabric,so don’t expect it to be a light fleece.
An elderly person if normal strength could handle it. I’m disabled and not very strong, well, I vary. I think I can manage it on most days.
I’m in my Sixties and gave Fibromyalgia and Arthritis plus high blood pressure, caused by medication and pain.
I bought it to replace an electric blanket.
Why, you ask? (Or not )
Because I found the electric blankets too hot,too cumbersome and generally dark grey, mustard ,blue, brown. Which is fine if you like those colours. I don’t .Plus they are expensive, tend to fail and are annoying to fold up at night and I hate the controls clinking away, or you trip on the wire absolutely inevitably if you are a bit unsteady.
They always say you can wash them, but when you do, they fail after a bit.
I’ve not washed the blanket but, I am confident it will dry easily.
It would stay put on your bed due to the Sherpa lining. I’m sure it would promote comfortable sleep. In fact I can doubtful you’d need any other bedding, which is a thought!
