This is great value for money. Saves money and better for the environment. The usefulness of this product is plain to see as the lack of lime in the filtered water is beautiful and clear.
A great product but I would not buy from Amazon again. The Prime delivery claimed it was “handed to the customer”. In fact it was the usual Amazon Prime delivery of dump on the doorstep & go.
This is quite expensive for what you get but is great for coffee / tea lovers that live in a hard water area.
The taste is really nice and fits well into my kettle and filter jug. They are compatible with both of mine which usually use Maxtra Plus filters. They do not protrude too much unlike some compatible brands.
These seem to be much better at removing limescale than our usual ones. We live in a really hard water area and previously we were having to descale the kettle about every two weeks, or more. Now it lasts about 25 days to a month.
I docked one star because the water doesn’t always flow through very smoothly and you have to give the jug a bit of a shake! No big deal, though. Will be buying these again.
We bought these as we have so much limescale that cup of tea is liking drinking a cup of sand. We used standard filters but even after 2 or 3 days the kettle needed descaling and we were back to cups of grit again. THESE filters (limescale expert) just wow. We are a week down the line now on the same filter and the kettle is still shiny and I don’t feel like a lizard in a sandstorm now when I have a cuppa therefore the water quality is great. They are not too slow either. I keep forgetting to refill the jug, but, waiting a few minutes for the water to go through is no biggy.
They do a great job to remove the crap in our tap water. I expect there is still some garbage in it, but it tastes an awful lot better without that chlorine taste. Whoever thought that would be healthy deserves an enema.
Avoid Brita “All-In-1” filter as it’s disappointingly useless.
One of the most important aspects of any water filter is the removal of limescale and the Brita “All-In-1” dose not remove limescale whatsoever and within a few days kettle will have limescale and hot drinks particularly tea will have a noticeable film on top of it.
Brita “Limescale Expert” is slightly more expensive but by paying more now you will save yourself from paying more in the long run by discarding the “All-In-1” filter within a very short time and as short as just two weeks.
Except for a financial gain there was no sensible reason in why Brita decided to introduce two filters when the original filter did everything perfectly!
I love these water filters. Our tap water tastes kinda weird but since using these it tastes so much better and we drink more water too. I have a Brita water tank that I keep in the fridge and I use the filtered water for everything, making tea, cooking, for our pets, drinking/taking medication etc. I wouldn’t be without these filters for anything.
Brita filter have been around awhile now and do what they where made to do, which is filter your water. My water quality has been issue with a strong chlorine smell to it, hence the purchase of this filter and it works. I feel much better for having clean water to drink.
The water is unbelievably hard in London and I am constantly having to descale the kettle, coffee machine, steamer etc. I absolutely adore my brita filter as it makes the water taste so good (who knew that was even a thing haha!). I love these updated filters for limescale as it really helps to protect my appliances when using the water poured straight from the brita jug. They are more expensive than the original filters but in my opinion worth it. I’ll be repurchasing!
I recently got the 3-pack because, let’s face it, my kettle was starting to look more like an ancient artifact than a modern appliance. I half-expected Indiana Jones to swing by and ask if he could borrow it for his next adventure.
