Easy to use and gives my hair a great shine, but I wanted medium blonde hence bought this colour, came out strawberry blonde.
It does however get lighter with each wash.
    All in all great job.

Great product. Very easy to use and no mess. My hair grows very quickly but this product lasts at least 6 weeks. Covers easily and doesn’t have to stay on the hair for long ( only 20-25 minutes. Finish off with the included Number 3 cream and the hair is soft, smooth and shiny. Pleasant perfume.

I ordered this to try and cover over the red in my hair as I wanted a change. It went on really easily and didn’t drip everywhere. Lovely colour.left my hair shiny and great price. This colour instructs you to shampoo your hair( which I’ve never had before) and when I was washing it out it didn’t cover the whole wet room in lots of dye in-fact it was minimal. Not sure how long it will last as previous colours don’t last very long in my hair and grey roots come through quickly but it did cover my grey.

4.0 out of 5 stars Lovely colour. Easy to do. Great price

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our Users8WR Golden Auburn; amazing, but not the name that I would’ve chosen. I believe the shade is not correct to the name. The name is should be called Red Sand — a very, light shade of ginger. Please do your research on ginger hair, because it will help you when picking the shade which is right for your skin tone. I decided on this shade, due my skin being (white) pale, with natural, rosey cheeks, and this golden auburn works well for me. It doesn’t wash me out and compliments the undertones in my skin colour.

Nothing bad to say about the dye it did the job and was easy to clean off my forehead etc, but the conditioner is so lovely it smells great and left my hair feeling so soft, I’m going to see if they sell conditioners on their own.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI saw this colour and fell in love with it but unfortunately it made my hair go darker idk if that’s because I just put the Auburn over my brown without stripping or bleaching but overall it’s still a lovely colour and looks nice

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersChanged from a product I’ve used for years, but that has recently been changed and certainly not for the better, hence the change.
I like this new one very much, particularly the colour – no nasty red glare from it.
It’s a bit trickier to apply as it doesn’t have the comb gizmo that I used to get on the old one. But it’s worth the extra effort.
This one is very much kinder to your skin. Very much! Clairol – please do NOT change the formulation!
It smells a mile better than my old one. Very little odour, in fact. And easier to wash out after.
Hair is left in much better condition than with the other product. Nice and soft.
Absolutely thrilled with this and will continue to use unless they make the mistake the others made and change the product to disadvantage.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersThis hair dye arrived in good time and was nicely packaged.

I hadn’t used this one before so I was a little unsure about how it would turn out especially as the cost is low.

I found the product easy to use and fairly simple to apply. It has a nice consistency and the smell isn’t too strong. I left it on for the recommended time, focussing on my roots.

I would say that if you have long hair (Like I do) then you do need two boxes.

My hair turned out nicely – it’s subtle, but looks natural and is nice and shiny.
I have also found that the dye itself has stayed looking nice and hasn’t washed out too much over the last few weeks – Bath/shower water will be slightly tinted but nothing more.

I am really happy with this product, I’m glad I bought it and I will likely make this my new go-to hair dye.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good and blended nicely with my natural hair colour, did exactly what I wanted I needed it to do.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersI have used this hair colour a few times now. My hair is naturally Auburn and trying to re-create that, now I am going grey, has proved problematic to say the least. This is the closest colour that I can get although it is still a little pale. I must admit I was a bit put off using it for a while before I actually bought some as I have used Nice n Easy years ago and found the smell to be awful. In desperation I gave in and bought this and was pleased to say that the smell is so much better now thank you hardly notice it at all.

It works pretty much like most box dyes work and it’s not too difficult to apply although I mix it in a hair dye bowl and use a brush to apply it because that works better for me. I like that after rinsing it you can use shampoo, as a lot of hair dyes say that you can’t use this, and it does make your hair feel cleaner which I like.

The overall colour is good but I just wish it didn’t fade quite so quickly. My hair has been damaged in the past but I didn’t find this made it any worse and the conditioner that is included really helps my hair to feel softer. As mentioned, this is slightly lighter than I really would like so I did try one shade darker which was a big mistake and so I will definitely go back to this colour. I think the price is fair and it is obviously a whole lot cheaper than having your hair done in the salon!

Golden Review Award: 15 From Our UsersI’ve never coloured my hair with a permanent box dye before because I usually go to get my roots done at the hairdressers every month but being in pandemic lock down and having over an inch of fairly dark root, which depressed me every time I looked in the mirror, I plucked up the courage to buy Clairol nice and easy SB2 blonde (after much research about which colour to go for). My hairdresser uses a level 9 on my hair and said she thought box dyes were usually a couple of shades lighter so I hoped this would lift my dark roots enought to blend in. My worst nightmare was being left with orange/ginger roots which would not be a good look. So, after roping in my reluctant hubbie to help do the back I set to and started. It was really easy to mix (just the tube of colour into the other bottle), give a good shake and away you go! Instructions said to start timing when application commences. I did the top and sides first then shouted my husband to do the back. He didn’t like the smell, which was probably due to being confined int the bathroom, so put a respirator mask on which tickled me no end! Actually the smell wasn’t bad at all so he probably had a sensitive nose lol. My hairdresser said to put on roots and then rub through to the ends for the last 10 minutes and the instructions said maximum 35 mins processing time. I kept checking to see if the roots had lifted and after about 15 minutes I could tell they were doing well so made the decision to leave the colour on for an extra 5 minutes to make sure my roots were done. A previous reviewer said she had fairly dark hair and had left it on for an hour so I thought it must be safe enough to do without my hair dropping out! So, after 40 minutes in total I stepped into the shower with my purple shampoo (just in case of orangeness), rinsed, washed with the purple shampoo then conditioned with Clairol’s conditioner. Next I blow dried and straightened my hair as usual. All my roots were covered, no orange tones and the ends were the same colour, which I would say is a little bit lighter than what I normally have but I actually love it! It’s a lovely creamy blonde and is absolutely fab!
So guys, anyone with light to mid brown roots, who is as nervous as I was to use a box dye in case of it turning out brassy or ginger, give it a go, you won’t regret it. I actually wish I’d done it much earlier and will not hesitate to buy it again until my hairdresser is open for business again.
