What is the shelf life of these ink cartridges?
These ink cartridges have a 24-month shelf life.
What if my printer does not recognize the ink cartridges?
Remove and reinstall the cartridges, repeating 1-3 times. If the problem continues, gently clean the nozzle and chip using the wipe, then reinstall the cartridges.
If I only print in black and white, do I need to replace the color cartridge when the black ink runs out?
No, just keep the empty color ink cartridge and replace only the black ink cartridge.
The printer recognised it and it prints evenly.

Clicked into place without any issues, printer software recognised it as non HP product (HP doesn’t always) and allowed it to proceed. Alignment procedure was sorted in a single pass, with the sheet showing crisp and clear lines, boxes and blocks.
Printing as seen here (the page from Amazon) clear and cprecise, no bleed or bluriness, in simple terms it prints and at the price a great deal compared to other makes including the manufacturers own.
