Crucial Pro DDR5 RAM 32GB Kit (2x16GB) 6000MHz CL36
Crucial Pro DDR5 RAM 32GB Kit (2x16GB) 6000MHz CL36, Overclocking Edition, Intel XMP 3.0 / AMD EXPO, Computer Memory (PC) DDR5 32GB RAM – CP2K16G60C36U5B
1. Crucial DDR5 desktop memory modules (UDIMMs) can reach rated speeds with Intel XMP 3.0 or AMD EXPO turned on in the UEFI/BIOS settings. Applicable for all Crucial DDR5 desktop memory (UDIMM) modules except Crucial DDR5-4800 desktop memory, which supports only Intel XMP 3.0. Based on published competitor specs for DDR5 memory as of August 2023. Altering clock frequency or voltage beyond rated speeds of 6,000MHz and timing of 36-38-38-80 at 1.35V may result in damage to computer components and will void your Crucial agreement. Micron disclaims all liability for such damage.
2. Crucial DDR5 Pro Memory modules (UDIMMs) can only be installed in desktops/workstations built to support DDR5 DRAM, such as 12th and 13th Gen Intel Core and AMD Ryzen 7000 Series desktop processors.
3. DDR5 data rate of 6,000MHz transfers 1.88x the DDR4 data rate of 3,200MHz.
4. Comparing the true memory latency of Crucial Pro DRAM Overclocking Edition of 12ns for 6000MHz CL36 to the true memory latency of Crucial Pro DRAM Plug-and-Play edition of 16ns for 6000MHz CL48. 12ns is 25% lower than 16ns of true memory latency.
5. Under memory-intensive workloads, DDR5 can deliver up to 2x the bandwidth, per an internal simulation of dual ranked x8 modules in client platforms.
6. DDR5 modules (DIMMs) introduce voltage regulation on the module through a power management integrated circuit (PMIC), which enables better power regulation and reduces the scope of DRAM power delivery network (PDN) management on the motherboard for increased efficiency.
7. On-die ECC (ODECC) is a feature of the DDR5 component specification and should not be confused with the module-level ECC features on server and workstation RDIMMs, LRDIMMs, ECC UDIMMs and ECC. Crucial DDR5 Memory includes ODECC but does not include the additional components necessary for system level ECC.
8. Densities are defined by JEDEC for the life of the DDR5 generation of memory.

I bought this to use in my new build (7700X CPU, 4070 GPU). I usually go for other known brands but this was cheaper in price so gave it a go and have not been disappointed. Good speeds and helps me run FPS games at high frames on high settings. Can’t really fault it for the price I paid! My PC is nearly a year old and I’ve had no issues so far. The actual RAM sticks are solid and very easy to install.
Review for DDR5 RAM 32GB Kit (2x16GB) 5600MHz.
I’ve bought two of these kits for a total of 64GB RAM, paired with an Intel i7-14700 CPU. 64GB is overkill at present, but my last PC lasted nearly 15 years so I’m telling myself this is “future proofing”!
The RAM performs fine and seems good quality.
Initially Windows reported it running 4,000MHz. I needed to change a BIOS setting so it uses XMP 3.0 Profile 1, since when it has run happily at 5,600MHz. Honestly I can’t tell the difference, but psychologically it’s nice to know I’m getting full benefit.
Installation was simple, just plug and play. These sticks are perhaps a couple of millimetres shorter than some others on the market. This may be important if you have a larger air cooler which protrudes over the RAM slots.
Ordered these for the Asus Maximus HERO Z690 system, The Crucial page shows it’s supported, however, when installed, the system wouldn’t post, and showed error code 53 on the motherboard which is for a memory error. Tried all slots in 1 or 2 module configurations and it kept showing the same error. I have two other kits on me and both work fine, so either this kit is incompatible after all or dead on arrival. Some research found out the DDR5 can be hit and miss, to be on the safe side, make sure it’s on the motherboard’s QVL list or don’t bother as the memory manufacturer page doesn’t show the real compatibility, it’s just based on the theoretical spec sheet.
Updated.
My fault initially, Asus had released a BIOS update with added DDR5 module support on 22.03.2024, didn’t realise there was such a recent update, and after installing it, the motherboard recognized the kits and worked great with it.
So for anyone looking to upgrade, make sure your motherboard has the latest BIOS before installing this kit. For Crucial, would be nice if they added this on their product page, a note that their kit might not be compatible with earlier DDR5 boards out of the box and a BIOS update might be needed for it to run.
That memory card is the best balance in price and quality. In market 2024 spring 5600mhz enough most of desktop pc. Working well and if you have lucky you have chance a few precent little boost to higher MHz work..
I upgraded from my Corsair Vengence 2×16 GB DRR5 RAM sticks to these, and after installation the Operating System was not booting, even though my PC was powering up. I even tried all the slots and ram combinations, yet still nothing. My pc seems to be only responding to my previous RAM installation, so after some searching online, I thought that I had a defective product. However when I got a replacement, the same thing was happening.
It turns out that the RAM is not defective, it’s just the BIOS settings needed to be reset back to their factory defaults. Which is kind of a nuisance, and not such a user friendly experience.
If you encounter the same problem as me, be sure that is not the RAM sticks at fault, so here is what you are going to do:
1) Consult your motherboard manual and find the JBALT pins to reset your CMOS.
2) Power Off and remove any cables into your PC, including the power cable and the power switch that it comes with your PSU
3) For 30-seconds, hit the Power Button down, from your front panel, where you normally power on and off your PC, to make sure there is no remaining power inside (I don’t know if that is a valid requirement, that’s what others advised me to do online, but better be safe)
4) Get a Screwdriver (Or if you have a jumper cable, because that is the recommended device to use for this instance, but i didn’t have one) and make sure it makes contact with your JBALT pins and hold it for 5-10 seconds (for reference, I have an MSI B650-P WIFI motherboard, and it is located at the bottom right side of it, where there are a row of pins) so it will discharge.
5) Connect everything back together and try booting your PC back again
After all that, you will be greeted with a fresh bios boot window and you can access your OS again, without losing any files or data.
Afterwards I checked Task Manager and it recognised my 2x24GB DDR5 Crucial Pro Ram sticks at 5200Mhz, so I need to enable XMP profile and manually adjust the speed to 5600 Mhz, to get the advertised maximum speeds.
Overall, these RAM sticks will be perfect for my needs, for working with intense compuational tasks for my work, projects, and gaming on the side, and the price for them seems fair for what they promise.
No problems with the memory, but the descriptions are incorrect on the page and invoice for this product. Both said 64GB of memory when in fact I had selected, and received, the 32GB option.
Does what it says on the box. Runs at 5600MTs and haven’t noticed any issues. If you’re looking for some DDR5 memory, but don’t mind the lack of expensive rainbow colours, definitely give this a buy.
One of the cheaper DDR5 RAM out there with a great reputation for its stability and capability. If you want to OC then you may get better options from other retailers but for what crucial offers, it’s very capable. Will be buying more crucial components in the future!
It might show as 4000 on you system but it’s not. You just need to pl7g them
to a2 b2 8n stead of a1 b2 and xmp will work to overclock my runs as 6000 no prob
Bought to replace my Corsair RAM which came with a manufacturing fault, these worked seemlessly, were on par performance wise and were cheaper.
I also have a nvme drive from crucial and this also runs great. Really becoming a fan of crucial
