Looks like a much more expensive linen version. Good stain resistance. But having washed multiple times and attempted to iron as hot as possible without melting the coating, with steam, the creases from the original packaging WILL NOT BUDGE. One star deducted for this reason 🙁
I honestly love this tablecloth, it doesn’t appear like waterproof material at all as I was worried it might look like a shower curtain!
I’ve had a number of compliments and recommended it to a few friends. I have lots of children that use the table and so far it’s worked a treat and cleans well.
The reason for 4 starts is due to the fact water beads until it’s soaked up and then you have to wipe underneath too but I figured if I pour spills from the tablecloth it works much better!
Someone said they didn’t like my old chequered, “granny” tablecloth, and so I got this “man’s” one instead.
I didn’t realise it was meant to be used outside, but no matter, it does the job on my dinning table very well.
It is indeed, water and stain proof and is easy to clean.
I can recommend this cloth to anyone who has a no-nonsence, pragmatic approach to their tablewear.

Great quality and easy to clean we used it at christmas and then again new years diner and then last month several washes later it still looks and feels like new
I bought 2 tablecloths in red and green for Christmas and they performed very well. Kids spilt gravy on one and it left a mark, but it came out in the wash. The instructions say “hand wash” but I machine-washed it on a quick 30 degree wash and tumble dried as synthetics and it is good as new.
