I have been struggling with finding a face cream that would work on my combination skin without causing allergic reaction or leaving an intense smell. It also doesn’t leave my skin shiny, dry, overdone, etc. It spreads nicely, absorbs quite ok, just leaves a bit of residue on the skin in the morning, so washing my face and then re-applying it is the best approach for me. I like it for the fact that I can only use a tiny blob for the whole face.
I bought this as my neck was starting to react to all my other creams. It has worked well. Excellent moisturiser which has also taken down itching and redness on reactive skin.
Although I have purchased this before looking closely at this on your sight I was of the opinion that I was buying two tubs I therefore ordered two expecting to receive four, I hope this is clear but when received I only received two which I honestly think as the tubs are quite small they are very expensive and will not order again Peter from Broadstairs
I done a lot of research on skin care for my 10 year old. I ended up buying a starter kit online specially formulated for her skin but she came out in a nasty rash so needed something simple. This works well and she can still feel like she has a skincare routine
The cream seem to be helping with dry skin due to hot environments, reason for purchase is dry skin at bridge of nose, cheek area & forehead area. Bought one for a work colleague & After 1 week dizzy & nausea spells a few times they never went back to using it, I was ok. So beware or share similar experiences
This is hands down the best face cream I’ve ever used. When I found out I was pregnant I searched the market for beauty products that were safe to use during pregnancy having discovered many of the existing products I used were toxic for my growing baby.
This E45 face cream was considered safe to use and it turned out to be better than any of the face creams I’d previously ever used and at such a competitive price point you can’t go wrong. I won’t be switching back to any other creams now my baby has arrived because this one is so good.
I find lots of creams leave my skin greasy but this one soaks in beautifully leaving my skin feeling hydrated but non greasy. I love the complexion it’s given me and a little goes a long way.
Overall it’s a great moisturiser for sensitive skin. I’ve been using acne treatment which makes my skin quite dry, with this my skin is normal, not too dry and it doesn’t make it oily either which is nice. Certainly one to look out for if you have acne prone, combination skin. Compared to the best moisturiser I’ve tried for my skin type which is Lumin, I’d say this holds up well and considering that the price is far more reasonable it’s definitely something I’ll be sticking to for the foreseeable future. My only gripe is that you need quite a lot of the product to achieve good coverage, particularly if your skin is feeling dry, so you’ll probably find that it runs out quite quick. One tube lasted a month for me, with other brands they tend to go a bit longer so an option for a larger 100ml tube would be nice.
I flinched at the price of this to be honest. E45 has always been the cheap and cheerful basic body lotion that is fuss free but works wonders. I’ve always got a bottle knocking around for if I’m caught without my preferred body lotion.
Given how well their other products work I had to try this out when I was in the market for a new face cream. I’d begun to have a bad reaction to the stuff I’d been using for a while with my skin peeling so I thought E45 with its reputation for being dermatologically sound and simple would be a good bet.
Honestly it really makes my skin super soft and keeps it well moisturised and my issues with peeling resolved after a couple of days use. I was pleasantly surprised to see hyaluronic acid in the ingredients. I remember when face creams first started pushing it as a miracle ingredient so to see it in a basic cream like this makes it feel a little more luxurious.
Now that we’re coming into the summer months I need to use a cream with some decent spf protection and this doesn’t have any which is a shame. I would definitely spring for it again if it did and I’ll probably go back for more in the winter.
