EasySMX Switch Pro Controller for Nintendo Switch/Lite/OLED

EasySMX Switch Pro Controller for Nintendo Switch/Lite/OLED, PC Controller, Wireless Switch Controller with 4 Programmable Buttons, Dual Vibration, Turbo, Motion Control, LED Light, Wake up Functio

Recently bought this controller for the Nintendo switch. I’m not playing any intense games that require any special joystick features or depend on fast gameplay, but I found that this controller does the job for me. It also is very easy to connect to the switch!
Really comfortable to use, the buttons are a great size and in a good position whilst holding. I found it really easy to connect to my switch
For me the haptic feedback is a bit too strong and cant be adjusted
I got the green one and I’m considering buying another, possibly in a different color. I was nervous because a friend bought a third party controller and when it arrived it wasn’t comfortable to hold for long, the whole thing being nearly flat. I was glad when this arrived to find that it fills the hand well and feels sturdy. It doesn’t look like a cheap or flimsy product. All things considered, I’m extremely pleased with the buy and if/when I get another controller I don’t see any reason not to go with this same type.
The controller also has a good vibration feedback and motion controls. The vibration is adjustable and can be turned off if you want. The motion controls are accurate and responsive, and they work well with games like Splatoon 2 and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. The controller also has a turbo function that can be activated by pressing the turbo button and the button you want to repeat. This can be useful for some games that require rapid button presses.
The controller also has four programmable back buttons that can be customized to perform any function you want. You can assign any button or combination of buttons to the back buttons, and you can switch between different profiles by pressing the M button. This can be very handy for some games that require complex inputs or quick reactions.
The controller has a long battery life and can last for more than 15 hours on a single charge. It also has a power-saving mode that automatically turns off the controller after 5 minutes of inactivity. The controller can be charged with a USB-C cable, and it also supports wired mode if you prefer.
Overall, I am very satisfied with this controller and I think it is a great alternative to the official Switch Pro Controller. It is reliable, affordable, and versatile, and it works well with the Switch and other devices. It has some features that the official controller does not have, such as the programmable back buttons and the turbo function. It is a controller that I would recommend to anyone who is looking for a wireless controller for the Switch.
Great ergonomic design.
No stick drift, and solid button feedback. Can’t connect to PC wirelessly, despite best efforts (even using ds4windows). Have little to no complaints as it states wired only on PC anyway in the description.
Great product, would highly recommend.
Few controllers truly resonate with a gamer’s needs, but this one, my friends, is a different breed. From responsive gyro axis control enhancing motion detection games to customizable turbo functions, every element feels meticulously crafted. The vibration feedback, adjustable to varying levels, pulls you deeper into every gaming session. The non-slip design ensures comfortable, extended gameplay, a boon for marathon gamers. It’s evident: this controller is designed with gamers in mind, amplifying every session.
This controller is more than just an accessory; it’s an experience. The wireless connection was stable, with negligible latency, making my gameplay seamless. The 6-axis gyro sensor added a layer of immersion, responding rapidly to even the slightest tilt. What truly stood out was the turbo function — customizable to my preferences, it genuinely enhanced my gaming prowess. The dual vibration motors provided real-time feedback, drawing me further into the game. Comfort was not sacrificed, with a non-slip design ensuring extended hours of gameplay without fatigue.
I’ve used this controller with the switch and it was very easy to connect holding down the home button until it flashes quickly then pressing the two back buttons together while on the controller select switch during a game. I’m still not sure how you add a controller that isn’t a Nintendo one from the main menu.
Once connected I didn’t notice any lag at all or any drifting during Mario Kart, it was suited more to Mario than PGA golf as the gold swing is very sensitive and I couldn’t get a consistent swing with this one but for everything else it worked fine.
All the buttons work like any other compatible controller and the buttons are all labelled the correct way, there is nothing bad about this controller, if I had to say a negative it’s that the feel of it is very plasticky and smooth, I prefer a bit of texture or grip around the controller so I can relax my hands more when playing, I seem to grip more tightly when it’s smooth plastic like this.
There is a turbo feature button on this which I’ve not needed on our games but it’s there if we do. Charging is a doddle with a usb-c cable, it lasts a good while and it takes less than an hour to charge.
Mainly pleased with this for the switch, the hand position with the back buttons is good, my index fingers naturally sit on the two rear buttons.
Great controller, really easy to use and to connect. Lovely mint green colour, though I see there’s a purple version which I will likely purchase as that colour also looks lovely. Good quality, but would benefit from some textured grip on it. You can also customise the button controls etc.
This controller is just great and connects so easily with my Nintendo Switch. It’s a solid and durable build quality, and after intensively using it for a month now, everything still works perfectly and is very responsive. The colour is a beautiful vibrant mint, and overall. It’s not a cheap quantity, but it feels very plasticky, and the texture is a bit slippery if you have sweaty hands.
I really like this controller, the colour is not for everyone but I have quickly got used to it, it’s more of a pastel colour so not glossy which I think helps, the grip on the controller is moulded into the plastic like console controllers but it is very comfortable to hold, it links to a switch very quickly and it has motion controls so can be used for games like mario kart. It charges through usb c, I have charged it with my phone charger and experienced no issues and have only had to charge it once during a week of use, it has a turbo function but I haven’t played a game which could utilise the feature so havent tested it, the only annoyance is to save power it hibernates a bit faster than I would like but if it’s in consistent use this isn’t a problem, very happy with this product!
When it comes to controllers, connectivity and feedback matter. This one ticks both boxes. Connecting it to my switch wirelessly, I found no distance limitations, providing a freeing gaming experience. The gyro sensor makes motion detection games more engaging. Adjusting the vibration feedback intensity is a feature I’ve come to value, making my gaming sessions more immersive. The turbo function is a notable addition, though I rarely found the need to use it. And yes, the non-slip design ensures a firm grip during those intense gaming moments.
I tried this on PC via Bluetooth and USB. It worked well on both. It seems pretty responsive and has a nice feel to it. Colour is pretty special too!
The controller provided an agreeable feel in my hands. What sets it apart are the programmable buttons that allow me to customize my gaming setup. The motion controls are responsive, and dual vibration brings an added layer of immersion. The ability to use it both wirelessly and wired gives me flexibility depending on the situation. Could use more detailed instructions, though.
This wireless controler for the Switch connects to the console within less than a minute. The instructions that come with it are simple and easy to follow.
The controller is lightweight but sturdy and the buttons have a nice feel to them, not too clunky. The vibration feature is a nice added bonus too. The controller feels comfortable to use and the buttons are well spaced. It has a long battery life – I’ve used it for multiple hours before being to charge it. When it does need charging it comes with a cable and you simply plug it in.
It is very reliable, no lag or unresponsiveness from the buttons and so far I’ve not had any issues at all with it disconnecting.
Overall I would absolutely recommend this wireless controller, it’s a great piece of kit and in a very lovely colour too.
Nice little controller that works well and has bluetooth built in as well so works with pretty much any device that can use bluetooth and can also be used wired. Has a turbo button function built in too if you’re looking for that type of thing. Apart from that, great little controller but the triggers are just buttons and not like real triggers like you’d find on an Xbox or PS
Firstly, apologies for my photos as they don’t do a particularly good job at showing the true colour of the controller. It’s a really nice pastel green but for some reason my photos make it look almost white.
The EasySMX Pro Controller is an all-round decent product, from the look, feel, weight and performance perspective. The shape of the grips fit well in the hand and textured finish do a great job of ensuring it doesn’t slip when being used. As with all controllers, a critical component is the feel of the buttons and D-pad and I’m so glad that EasySMX have got this right. The buttons have just the right level of resistance and do not feel spongy, bouncy or too stiff – a BIG win on that front.
Additionally the rumble feature feels robust and weighty, unlike many other controllers I have used in the past, and for me that’s another super-important feature for any controller I want to use. It’s also worth noting here that the level of vibration can be adjusted to suit your preferred level, which is a really nice touch. The controller also has a Turbo feature which isn’t something I personally need, but it’s there and it works well if you need such a thing on your controller.
Pairing with the Switch is simple, just hold the Home button for a 3 seconds, and go to the ‘Change Grip Order’ menu on the Switch console. The controller can also be paired with a Windows PC should you want to use it with PC games on Steam etc.
Overall a lovely bit of kit and something I plan to get a lot use out of.
Can be easily connected wirelessly using the grip order menu, or wired using usb-c. All the buttons feel great and are responsive. It’s a comfortable size, and the violet colour looks just like the images. I’d say this is a suitable alternative to an official pro controller.
It also works on PC easily using Steam, which now has an option for the Nintendo Y, X / B, A button layout if that’s what you’re used to and find Xbox layout confusing.
The vibration and turbo settings are easier to change on this than my other unofficial controller. It uses the turbo button + left/right stick to step them up/down which is much better than those that use key combos.
You can see in the video I accidentally turned the controller on/off before connecting it. You just have to hold the home button down when the controller is off rather than turning it on first to avoid that. I don’t have any complaints so far.
I purchased this controller to use mainly with my steam deck. My existing controllers require the use of a USB receiver dongle, which means I have to dock my deck into a USB hub. This controller however does not require the use of a USB dongle – therefore I am able to connect this controller via the native Bluetooth option of my steam deck. This makes it incredibly easy for me to quickly set up my deck on a deck stand and begin gaming right away.
I also found out that this little device is capable of connecting via Bluetooth to an IPAD allowing me to pick up my gaming sessions using cloud gaming services on my Ipad device. This has been great and has been so convenient to connect the controller and jump immediately into a session on the XBOX cloud gaming service.
The controller feels great, is very lightweight, and I also particularly like the unique colour. It is easy to charge the device using a USB C cable, and I was also able to connect to my PC and Steam deck using this cable too should I wish to play using a wired controller.
Overall this has been a great addition to my gaming set up and I would highly recommend this device to add to your gaming collection.
This controller is compatible with multiple different gaming devices and is easy to set up and use.
It’s comfortable to hold and responsive, with the buttons having a good amount of cushioning.
It has a turbo speed button, which allows you to programme a button to automatically be pressed in quick succession, which comes in handy for multiple games, especially shooters.
The only negative is the case of the controller doesn’t feel of the greatest quality as it feels of quite cheap plastic, but time will tell how long it lasts.
All in all, it’s a good controller for casual gamers.
