Bought due to regularly running out of battery when filming with Sony zv1 camera. These batteries seem to have smaller capacity than the official Sony one too and don’t charge overly quickly either but for the price so can’t really complain too much.
Nevertheless, good to have handy during a shoot as the batteries always seem to run out in the closing minutes
Only charged them up and not used them yet, but have batteries of this make for my other cameras. Charged and used them many times with no problems whatsoever so not expecting any problems with these. Recommended.
Good battery duration, compatible with A7 IV although camera gives a warning upon turning it on. I had purchased a similar kit from two other suppliers, batteries could not even lock in place.
I’m a casual shooter, so these definitely go the mile when I’m out and about taking pictures. I think these, along with the Sony battery that comes with the camera, can last me 2-3 days without charging. I do think it would’ve been better for me to just order the charger and not the two batteries that came with it, and just one Sony battery to have just two batteries to worry about. This highly depends on how you do things, so might not be it for everyone.
I also don’t think these batteries last as long as the original Sony batteries – going along with reviews with third-party batteries, but this entire setup can be had for half the price of Sony’s original battery, so this is a good deal.
I bought these for 38 on an offer which is superb value for money.
They last around 70% of an official sony battery for photos and videos.
For videos, If you record long form (Wedding ceremonies etc) they off brand batteries get hot quickly. They also dont give you clear indications of when they are running low, anything under 30% on the battery life and they will need changing for video as the battery gives zero warnings and with just turn the camera off or freeze it up. For photos that means you lose 1 picture. for video you could lose the whole file. So make sure not to use them in direct sunlight or anywhere very warm and always change the battery for important longform content.
For me they work perfect as I mostly shoot photo and hybrid short clip video and I have bought more since the first purchase.
You get two batteries and a charger. Having used it, it does not hold the charge well as the original battery, it is also deceptive that it starts with a full charge and drop quickly. However, i have three batteries which easily last me a whole day. I have not used the charger to charge the original battery and do not keep these batteries inside the actual camera.
Highly recommend if you own the Sony zv1 or any camera as you’ll constantly need to charge your batteries. I’ve had this almost a year and it’s still working just fine.
Ideal charger for the car. Can see how much charge is in the batteries. Not the fastest charger but that’s not a bad thing.
Can’t fault it. Used it quite a few times now.
The batteries themselves don’t last long but that’s down to the manufacturer. They have come in extremely handy, I now have 3 batteries in rotation so it doesn’t really disrupt my workflow.
Great little battery charger with the option to use USB c or micro USB… doesn’t come with a USB cable hidden underneath which would of been a great finish! Works as described.
And it comes with a charging dock that tells you how full each battery is. And the dock can be plugged into with micro USB and USB C.
After looking on here i soon found this charger and 2 batteries so had no choice but to order the package. i am glad I did now as I have 3 fully charged batteries and charger in my bag along with the other items i carry.
Good product, easy to use and good value for money. Unable to rate battery life as yet as I have not had them for long enough but will update review at a later date. Also, great fast service and delivery.
