dont have time or the inclination for housework! so Eufy clean gets to it. I programme the machine so that ‘he’ cleans the house while I walk the dogs That way we are out of the house and ‘his’ way but have also had an opportunity to clear his path. Initially I programmed for an over night clean, but that sometimes woke me up.

Easy to use, it collects the dog hair and kitchen crumbs while I am out exercising the dog so does exactly what it was intended to do. I only use it in the kitchen as I think it might chew up the tassles on rugs.

We bought those due to the amount of hair our Labrador was shedding. It was impossible to keep on top of. We didn’t think this vacuum would be able to pick up the hair but it does a good job. It doesn’t get 100% but definitely a good 80% which makes a big difference. It is very noisy though.

After long contemplating whether are not to buy this due to the price, my niece told me you are better to get better quality for dearer price as she had one. So I did and have never looked back it is great and maps rooms before hoovering which the cheaper ones don’t do, plus great suction. It was that good my sister then went out and bought one.

It is very expensive at 340 or whatever I paid at the time. It is also a bit noisy but if you are buying a vacuum and expecting silence you are looking for a miracle.

It has changed our lives for the better as we only have to do spot vacuuming every now and where it can’t reach, but the bottom of our feet are clean clean now!

    Great bit of kit!
Not only is it fun to watch or even track its location/progress on the app, it does a good job.
It manages the move from a hardwood floor to a medium/heavy rug well & is quite persistent in cleaning.
The navigation is also very good as took itself back to the charging dock one it had completed the task.

I had a previous version of this with 3500 suction. But this one cleans very very well. The only problem I would say is I’m not able to add a room to a map once mapped. I have to create another floor level. For example on the first floor all the doors open inwards, however the bathroom door opens outwards. Therefore its difficult to map the bathroom unless I stand there and wait for the vacuum to come towards the bathroom and then quickly open it. For this reason I gave 4 stars

LIDAR is a game changer. I had an older 100 quid model that didn’t have it and it was a pain to deal with. It will knock my bin over, push my shoes around, get stuck under my office chair, etc.

This thing… maps out a room quite accurately in under 2 minutes, then continually improves the map as it cleans and bumps into things. And speaking of bumping into things, it stops a lot quicker so it doesn’t drag them around or knock things over. It’s definitely a lot smarter than anything without LIDAR.

Even if its your first ever robot vacuum, I highly recommend skipping the super budget tier without LIDAR and going straight to something that supports LIDAR and more importantly NO GO zones. The ability to make it stay away from rats nest of a desk (desktop computer, 4 monitors, speakers, audio devices, etc make for a lot of cables that I cba to properly arrange) as well as the ability to make it stay away from under my office chair is god tier. I can actually leave it unattended now, instead of the older one which I had to watch as it works in case it gets stuck every few minutes or knocks something over.

Had this for a single clean so far and it’s made a massive difference. Suction is good enough for my carpet. Will update review if the app gets worse or brakes or if the robot doesn’t last more than at least 2 years, but so far it’s great.

Been debating whether or not to get a robot vacuum for a while, looking at various models. I didn’t want to spend the earth but wanted good suction as most of our floors are carpet. I have to say I’m really pleased with my choice. The eufy works great, cleans the crumbs from my messy six year old. Mappings been fine too, had a to add a couple of no go areas and they’ve worked well. All in all would definitely recommend, I love the little fella.

This is my second Eufy. First one (simple model) had insane amount of issues until the team had to swap for another model that lasted 2yrs. I decided to upgrade to this model that self-empties. I thought it was a nice to have feature, but it’s not. It’s a COMPLETE GAME CHANGER. Cannot recommend enough. The only thing to be aware of, the emptying suction action is incredibly loud, but the convenience makes it worth it. You do have to purchase vacuum bags, but I don’t mind. They last about 1.5-2 months with a daily hoover and a super shedding cat (the app shows you when you need to replace). The charge is good and it’s a beautiful and classy looking machine with no tacky colours or designs like other brands. One downfall is the little notch at the top that makes it slightly higher than my old version and now it doesn’t go under the sofa like the old version did. I can’t wait to try the latest version that does vacuum and proper wash(!!!). I’m now a Eufy convert.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersThis is the most significant household purchase I’ve ever made. This thing cleans everything very well, including a ruggy rug, it doesn’t really struggle anywhere. It’s very powerful for it’s size and at a great price. Glad this 5,000 Pa version was avaliable when I finally decided to get it; I’ve been considering getting 1 for years. My house has 2 floors, it takes around an hour to do each floor and the battery lasts long enough to do a single floor on “normal” power mode.

I have a cat and I’d have to hoover every few days but now the house is always clean. I move it upstairs/downstairs, alternating the floor cleaned everyday. You need to place the robot in the exact same place and change the settings in the app everytime, so it knows which floor it’s on, but it’s nothing difficult.

I’m also impressed with the corner cleaning; the brush makes it so that it gets right into any 90 degree corner and it cleans right up to the edge so it doesn’t miss anything at all. It’s also nice that it ramps up the power when it moves onto carpet, otherwise I’d have to set it to a higher power mode and it’d probably run out of battery before covering the entire floor.

Now I just use a mini hand-held vacuum to do the small areas it can’t reach; don’t need to bring out Henry anymore, maybe once every few weeks. I just have this robot do a deep clean with it’s turbo mode. Either way, it’ll save me from hours of housework every week. Alexa also works with it, just for start and stop though; it would’ve been perfect if I could tell it which room to clean via voice but the app’s still there. All that’s left to see is its longevity, but all the bits seem easily serviceable, including the battery.

Overall, 10/10 product. Best purchase in years.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersBought this as an upgrade to my previous eufy x8, which was good, but not powerful enough – I have two black cats and rent a flat with light-coloured carpet, which is not a great mix, I was still having to make use of my manual hoover weekly to keep the place looking presentable..!

Setup was straightforward and quick, clip the ramp onto the base and pop the L60 on to charge.

Mapping was much quicker, probably because the L60 doesn’t have to clean whilst doing it, and the routing seems much more efficient.

Even after one use, all the cat hair is gone. I’m impressed!

The SES works well – the hair cutting function is able to deal with my waist-length hair, and the dust tray is empty. I’ve only had it a few days, so waiting to see how quickly the hoover bag inside the base station fills up.

Noise: the L60 itself is fairly quiet (certainly quieter than the x8, even on max power!) although the SES is obnoxiously loud – although to be fair, it is quick to empty the dust tray, cut the hair from the roller, then empty the dust tray again.

All in all, I’m really happy. What would make it perfect is the ability to program the cleaner to return to the SES for emptying both after a certain amount of cleaning time AND at the end of a cleaning job, not one or the other as at present.

Having upgraded from the G30 Verge after 3 years, I was really pleased with this one. I have two double-coated medium dogs so my robot vacuums are usually on at least once a day (if not twice a day) to keep the fur down. With the extra suction power, this does wonders and I feel I can rely on it every time.

Once I had set up each floor of my house, it navigated effortlessly around including a No Go Zone I’d added via the app to avoid the dining set and any stray toys accidentally left out.

The level of customisation through the app is really useful. As an example, I have a schedule set up so the vacuum will use max suction power over two passes in my utility room only which responds to a Ring motion sensor.

So far my only issue with this vac is that it defaults to standard settings if I press the Power button on the top of the vac itself and forgets all customisation so I have to go into the app and set it all up again including telling it which floor its on every time instead of working it out itself upon start up. I may be using it wrong, but this is my experience so far.

Warning: this review is mostly for people with ADHD wondering if they will buy this thing and then ignore it for months and feel a faint pang of regret every time they look at their unvacuumed floor.

Look, when we first got this thing I was extremely doubtful – it (obviously) has no mapping and its sense of where it’s been and the choices it makes are slightly worse than I would expect of a concussed duckling (literally random), it picks up about half of the stuff it passes, it managed to miss an entire oak leaf after 30 minutes of wandering around, it claims to need a space equivalent to the entire area of the living room empty around its charging unit, it’s noisy enough that the baby is terrified of it and it played Wind The Bobbin Up with an entire reel of thread *and I still haven’t found the reel*.

However, I have set Robbie to turn on daily at 6am and this achieves four (well, five) things. First: my home looks as if I hoover it on a regular basis, so the baby isn’t picking up random crumbs from the carpet and eating them before I can check them. Second: because I know Robbie is turning on at 6am come hell or high water, I pick up everything off the floor in the evening and maybe half of it goes back where it should be, which is a full 100% improvement on previously (those of you with ADHD may know this as the Visitor Effect). Three: I can see a contrast between the space Robbie can reach and the space he can’t, which makes me think “Ooh I should get that corner bit” and sometimes I actually do. Four: the debris Robbie picks up is beautifully sorted into Fluff and Bits, meaning that if he does pick up some errant Lego, it can be very easily noticed and extracted, no need to sift through an entire massive barrel of ick and then need to redo the whole floor. Five, and I appreciate this is subjective and probably not the manufacturer’s intention: because of the need to lock Robbie in the living area so he doesn’t wake up the baby at 6am by rattling around in the hall, our living area is lovely and warm in the morning instead of getting the drafts from the front door.

Yes, he is called Robbie, the 5yo named and gendered it and her naming choices are (usually) sacred.

So, would I absolutely buy a more expensive one with a mapping system, two brushes and the ability to get back home without a guided tour? Yes. Is Robbie now the tidiest member of our family? Also yes.

I had a robot hoover in the past, but it was a small one with built in dust collection and water container for the mop attachment. This died.
We looked around and read reviews, and this one had a good review so we thought we’d try it.
Within minutes of taking out of the box, setup was simple, just download the app and connect to WiFi.
We placed it in its corner of the room, and it went around mapping the room and hallway, recognising shoes or a chair and marking them on a map. It then went around and did its thing, mopping and hoovering. I was suprised at how dirty the water came out in the dirty tank.

I an impressed how much power this thing has and how it goes around the room. My last one was completely random, so you would have to leave it on for a while. This one you can see exactly on a map where it’s been, so I was suprised to see it had done living room and hallway in around 15 mins.

My only dislike is that its a bit taller than my last one, so it can’t go under the sofa or cabinets, or that it only has 1 sweeper, so it doesn’t pick up against the edges like the last one.

In summary, for the price point, this is a good purchase, mops with clean water, then steams them clean on the base uni

This is a clever little machine and so far is performing very well. The app is intuitive and user friendly. It adapts to multiple floor easily. My home is on multiple levels so I’m grateful it allows for 5 mapping zones although I could do with a few more! I am pleased I also purchased the emptying station although I wish it were bagless. Highly recommended so far.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersSuper easy to setup and for once a company actually put effort into the app on iphone to make this user friendly so this made me super happy! The ability to self clean itself is also brilliant but do wish the vacuum also emptied itself that would have been the icing on the cake but you can’t have everything!

After observing the obstacle avoidance it seems to work really well and did not get stuck under anything or in any corners etc, I will say though that the corners do need a manual wipe as it doesnt seem to get them with it being round but thats a small price to pay for the overall cleaning power and time saving that this gives us. Instead of mopping and hoovering in the evening after a busy day we will just leave this little robot running around doing the job for us and probably better!

Our flooring is all laminate flooring so no carpeting so I cant speak for carpeting performance but the mopping certainly seems to be absolutely excellent far better than our manual mopping and super convenient. We have a dog and a toddler so the floors do get messy quite a lot so we are looking forward to saving lots of time here with this new device.

It is a huge investment in terms of cost but so long as we continue to use it every day it will pay for itself in terms of time. Overall super happy with this and kinda wish I got one sooner especially with my busy schedule.

My top tip for this is to make sure you have a TIDY floor before you set it off or before it is scheduled to go as it suck up a couple of mini pencils as the hoover suction seems to be THAT strong so although the obstacle avoidance stops it from hitting furniture walls etc if its a small thing on the floor it is likely to try suck it up. No big deal just keep the floors tidy.

    LOVE IT!

Golden Review Award: 18 From Our UsersThis is my first RoboVac so I went for a cheaper model to see how well this works and this one doesn’t dissapoint. This little buddy (Brian) is fantastic. Works so well he has become part of the family with his own name (Brian). Very quiet and never gets stuck in a corner, between chair legs etc. Brian always finds his way back to his charging station before energy runs out and automatically charges at his station so he is always powered up for his next task. He lasts a good hour before heading home. If he does get trapped he will emit an intermitent beep to let you know. Simply free him and he is ready to continue. Cleans up all dust, hair and any tiny debris. Easily transitions from hard floors onto rugs etc. Easy to use out of the box. There are other functions, which I haven’t bothered with. I simply press the start button and he gets to work, returning to his station when done. Really can’t recommend enough.

This is a simple robot vacuum, much less sophisticated than the mapping versions (of which I own a couple) and consequently it takes longer to clean a room as it bounces about using its “bump and turn” algorithm.
That said it does a great job of picking up dirt and is simple and easy to set up.
Like other Eufy items it is well built and there are plenty of spares (brushes, rollers, filters) available so there’s little danger of your being left with an unsupported bit of kit.
If you don’t need complex navigation and area willing to pick up small objects prior to rubbing this vacuum, you will find this a great option.

Golden Review Award: 56 From Our Users1. The best mops. Completely different story than other robots. every few minutes it goes back to wash the mops and does it perfectly and strength and pressure of cleaning is incredible. It is not even comparable to those mobs that run around apartment and drag dirt around and spill water on it.
    3. The app navigation is also not comparable to any of the top shelf and I have tried T 20 Omni which’s is a joke and so so expensive not even AI or camera. Dreame ultra was great and very reliable but felt very cheap in terms of quality and plastic and this robot has the best navigation ever is remembers everything and never makes mistakes and really that avoiding obstacle in the way it remembers the algorithms. It’s incredible.
    3. It’s super quiet. I am actually shocked. It’s the quietest robot I’ve ever heard.
    4. The suction is perfect and what should be added is the regular browser is not only the robber because in my opinion on perform as good on carpet.5
    5. It’s the best app very easy to use, but also with huge number of options and easy to navigate and create this crazy map with some bizarre surroundings like your map with spill liquid on. Maps your house perfectly and locate the furniture itself as well.
    6. The station and the quality is the best ever it’s feels very solid and heavy but not too heavy. It’s sleek and doesn’t look like a wardrobe or a fridge like Ecovacs. for example
    7. I am very surprised how does Brandt came out with something completely different because it really is. This mob should not be compared because it’s a different story and I really highly recommend it because the floors look spotless and feel as well spotless it’s not over complicated in the whole things That never really worked with different robots that washers and dryers them perfectly. The station is never ever dirty in a tiny bit.
Are use many of the top shelf of Roberts and so far. This one is really the best in my opinion because it should be the number one from the mall in terms of navigation how quiet it is the Saxon, and of course the mobs are just not comparable. Let’s not forget they are lifting 12 mm which is The highest in the entire industry, the carpet sensors right idiot some never actually drugs the mobs like the other Steel, even if they tell you in marketing at that they don’t. I like that the station doesn’t have auto empty because Auto empty give me anxiety LOL the dustbin is big enough and for me it’s not a problem to empty it from time to time. It also is good to see you sometimes what is inside you have a diamond or something LOL I really do miss this part I don’t know why, but for me, it’s not important at all amazing job and I really recommend this product really the bes

Golden Review Award: 49 From Our UsersThings I like
    – Surprisingly good suction considering it’s just a small hoover

    – It might have a small dust compartment but it’s fine for light use. Never really presents much of an issue since it just stops sucking up crap if it’s too full!

    – Good cleaning tool (to remove tangles and dirt from the machine) and remote that comes with the device. App is decent too.

    – Definitely keeps on top of the day-to-day hoovering and reduces allergens in the home

    – Low so gets under quite a lot of tricky areas like cupboards and low beds.

    Things that could be better
    – It’s not a smart hoover that you can give directions to in terms of no-go areas and priority areas. It literally just goes around at random. I knew this when I bought it and I thought I’d be okay with it but actually it’s REALLY irritating when you have an area of the house that needs a bit more attention and the hoover decides that it just wants to go and do a different area that’s relatively clean and it just hangs around there for far too long. The hoover has an annoying knack for being EXACTLY where you don’t want it to be at any given time. For that reason, it needs babysitting a lot. I’m not deducting points for that since it never claims to be as smart as higher end models but I also think it needs to be taken into consideration if you DO want to purchase this.

    – Sort of following on from the above point here but this appliance DESPERATELY needs better object detection facilities. I get that it’s not smart per se but it also shouldn’t be completely dumb. Tasseled rugs or throws? Forget it. The side brushes will whip those tassels right up. It’s almost inevitable – I don’t think there’s a single run it’s done where it hasn’t got tangled unless I’m babysitting it and manually guiding it away with the remote or app. Once it grabs a tassel, it just keep twisting and twisting until the tassel is tied into an unbelievably tight knot around the brush; only THEN the hoover decides to stop and start beeping. The solution for this would be to have an adjustable setting that can stop the brushes from spinning if they start detecting a bit too much resistance/tug on the brushes. Alternatively, you can do what I’ve done and just take the side brushes off but then the cleaning is less effective soyou pay in other ways. Those side brushes occasionally even tangle in medium pile rugs though that’s quite rare.

    – The object detection from a movement perspective is also quite rudimentary. Plastic bumpers need to physically hit something before it decides it needs to go a different direction. Got a low fireplace hearth? Probably won’t pick up on that so it will just keep trying to mount the bloody hearth. Same for smaller pet bowls like our cats’. The hoover basically looks like it’s trying to mate with food/water bowls. We’ve got around this by just buying slightly taller bowls. Not a big deal. Another one is when it reaches an object that’s on the cusp of being too short for it to go under. For example, one of our radiators is borderline the same height as the hooverso the hoover somehow is perfectly capable of getting under the hoover but is absolutely useless at then removing itself from that spot.

In conclusion, despite my above points, I would recommend this hoover to anybody as long as they’ve considered their own personal setup at home. If you have a lot of tassels and throws and rugs or a low fireplace hearth, I would possibly consider a smarter device. I manage just fine with this one simply by turning off scheduling (it’s pointless because it’ll just get jammed in something) and manually turning it on whenever I’m actually in the room that needs cleaning, e.g. I might play my PS4 in the living room and set it going so that I can keep an eye on it. If I see it going somewhere a bit risky, I’ll just spin it a different direction using the remote next to me. We will eventually upgrade to a better model but, for now, this will do. We got it on a Prime Sale so it was an absolute bargain for what it does.

Golden Review Award: 49 From Our UsersHi Eufy, if you’re reading this, I’d like some reward for giving such a glowing review lol.
So firstly, I naturally read the reviews and they gave me some concerns, mostly about the attena like brushes falling off and the vaccum not being able to make it over my multiple thick wool rugs. Or the fact I don’t have a huge empty space for the docking charge station.
But I didn’t need to worry about any of these things.
People really need to read the instructions or Google/contact Eufy when something isn’t working out!
The brushes at the front were falling off a lot. Turns out like so many others, I didn’t push the two front brushes down hard enough so they click in firmly. Once I did, they haven’t fallen out at all.
In the boost setting, my thick wool rugs are no problem and even in the standard and max settings, it finds a way to get over them.
The docking station doesn’t need as much room as the instructions state and it finds its way home with relative ease, it’s not needed me to take it home other than the first time I moved it as I’ve now even put the docking station under the sofa and it still finds its way home from rooms away!!
It nagivates itself around really well and I’m so impressed with how well it cleans, picking up a great deal on each trip out. My carpets and floors always look freshly vacuumed and zero effort!
It’s much quieter than a standard vaccum which young my autistic son loves. And when there’s a little mess to tidy up, the remote function is brilliant. However it doesn’t work as smoothly with my mobile phone.
    It works with Google Home.
Cleaning – the main brush requires regular cleaning and the collection tray requires emptying daily for a family home, both of which is are very simple.
The vacuum gives me alerts if the drop censors require cleaning to avoid this I simply give my vacuum a quick wipe over when emptying the collection tray.
This increased cleaning and emptying is no problem at all considering I no longer have to vaccum the floors.

Love the edges of the room function and it works equally well on carpet, thicker rugs, tiles, vinyl and even does the door mats pretty well.

The plus to all of this, is that I got this model for 132.99 in the black Friday sale. Bargain.

Having a physical disability this has been one of the most significant aids in my home and why I’ve gone to the effort of writing this review. If it can be so helpful for me, I hope it can for others.

Please don’t be put off by preconceptions and or very biased reviews.
P.s this review was written 27/12/21 and I recieved the Eufy Vaccum on 26/11/21 and have been using it daily.
