This sun shade is the perfect size for our small patio at 2 x 3m.

It seems well made with strong D rings to attach to our awning fixings. The fact it has UV protection is definitely a bonus.

Simple to set up at an angle you like for some privacy and shade.

I’m really looking forward to sitting underneath it in the Summer.

In summary, very nicely made, 304 stainless D rings, UV fabric, 420D Polyester, semi transparent. Provides a good shade without restricting the light entirely. The ropes provided are a little under whelming, but adequate.

At the time of this review, 2x3m retailing for 16.99 which for me represents great value. A good shade for adding to my campervan kit.

I didn’t expect much from this as it is listed on the budget side but I was pleasantly surprised by the quality. The metal D rings are attached firmly and the fabric is tough and repels water from early tests.

As mentioned by others, you need to secure this in four places so even if you attach two to you nearest patio building, you’ll still need to secure the other two elsewhere (tall poles that are weighted or cemented down). At 2×3 meters, it’s enough to cover sun loungers or a table and chairs to give shade from the sun or at least some protection from the rain. Just make sure it is attached securely as strong winds will take this and potentially rip away the D rings. For the price, it’s a no brainer if this is the type of shade you are looking for.

This garden shade sail is made from a lightweight but durable waterproof material.
It feels almost like the outer layer of a tent. It is extremely well made, with strong stitching and metal D ring loops from which to attach it to an anchor point. It comes with thin ropes, but I used large carabiners and bungees to attach it to our heavy duty eyelets.
It comes in a nice grey colour which matches our modern decor perfectly.
It is fairly small (2x3m), and not square as it appears on the listing photos, plus it does require something to secure it to, so you may be restricted on where you can use it.
I do like that it is easy to remove and store when not in use, and that it can be used in different ways to optimise your desired shaded areas.
I’m planning on using it over the paddling pool area when our niece/nephews come round in the summer.

I was quite impressed with the quality and finish on this sun shade. The material is thick and water just runs off it. The finish on the edges is really strong and robust with good stitching and solid D Rings at the corners. It is shaped so that the fabric stays taught when in place which means no pooling water on the top if you keep it taught, along with the instruction to angle it with one side a little higher than the other to allow water to run off it. I have seen cheaper ones out there for the same price, so this loses just 1 star.

The Falflor 2x3m Sun Shade Sail is made of high density 420D Oxford polyester material. The woven knitted fabric is breathable, allows air and light to pass through and is waterproof.
Capable of blocking up to 95% UV rays effectively protecting you and yours and your outdoor furniture when we get those scorchio days of gorgeous sunshine – rare, but they do happen here in the UK.
It is sewn together in the middle with strong stitched seams as are the hems, and is resistant to tears.
With durable stainless-steel D-rings anchored at each corner, and 4 x 2.5 m long durable ropes, you can easily and quickly mount the sun shade sail any place you like (suggest that the installation angle is 20-40 degree, to achieve maximum tension and also to allow rain to run off).
Premium quality product.
I can’t wait to install this outside when the weather improves!

I requested the ‘Falflor 2x3m Sun Shade Sail Rectangle Waterproof Shade Sail Durable Awning for Patio’ in Grey. To provide much needed shade in our south facing garden, when the sun finally arrives here in the UK! It has robust metal D rings which are well sewn into the corners and comes with rope as described by the seller.

It is not made from one piece of fabric, it has a seam across the centre which is double stitched. The edges are thick where the fabric has been turned under and stitched again to reinforce the edges and provide overall durability to the sail.

The water test that I did, showed no issues, the water stayed on the surface in tight beads. I cannot vouch for the UV resistance, but I do believe that it is 420D Polyester as the seller states.

It does not come with poles, as is to be expected with a price of 14.99 at the time of this review. I believe that it offers good quality and value hence 5 stars.
