From the brand
Adhering to the values of Therapeutic, Comfort, and Support Technology, FitVille is on a mission to helping everyone attain a healthy and active lifestyle utilizing advanced technologies and designs of footwear.
What do we do?
FitVille is a global footwear brand devoted to improving foot heath. We are here to bring healthy and positive change through movement.
What makes us different?
We design wide shoes with comfort.
For those with wide feet, it can be much more difficult to find comfortable shoes that fit right. That’s why FitVille has developed its innovative wide toe box.
Why do we love what we do?
We design, innovate and iterate but we never forget the original aspiration: bringing the joy of sports to the world.
Needed help with painful feet and these do the job really well. Look good and feel good. Have changed insole and replaced it with poron insoles and together a real match. Happy.
arrived today
was a bit wary, but quality is better than more expensive “brand” trainers and very comfortable.
I took “wide” only. I can’t even begin to imagine how wide “extra wide” would be 🙂
I saw laces and assumed that these were lace-up shoes. I have another pair of Fitville that are lace-up and I love them. These are fine and once I have them on I am happy. But slip-ons are not my thing. If they are your thing then go for it.
1st few days a little uncomfortable, till my feet got used to them. I am very flat footed.
Only downside, found the length a little short. A half side up would have been perfect.
Only worn a couple of times, but reasonably comfortable. With congenital deformities in both feet, 2 replacement hips and spinal surery recently, I struggle a bit to walk and can’t bend to do up laces, or put on shoes. However, these slip on and, after replacing the traditional laces with elastic ones, I can just about get them on by myself without help from my wife. They do look to be well made and are supportive.
The sizing is “generous”, probably more like US sizes than UK. My feet are about half a size different, the larger is a 9 1/2, so if I can get this size – its what I do, but usually have to get a size 10. I could probably have managed equally well with a size 9 for these, so that might be a helpful guide on sizing for you.
The next couple of weeks on holiday will be a good test for comfort and durability. Will revise this review if they don’t meet expectations…
These trainers have had a huge impact in reduction of my pf pain,I walk 40mins a day and it was starting to be a painful problem, these trainers have let me walk to work pain free, and do a days work pain free, can’t recommend enough, wide fit ideal and can basically slip on also, will be my go to trainer from here on in!
I really like being able to order footwear with wide and extra wide options as well as arch support and at reasonable prices, being able to get a perfect fit makes these a very comfortable traine
Firstly, I really like fitville shoes, this being my 4th pair.
I find the fit brilliant, (I wear the wide, not extra wide), and they’re really comfortable.
HOWEVER!
The tread seems to wear remarkably fast, this pair for instance I’ve had a week, yup seven days worn probably 4 days and the tread is already disappearing, it’s not as I walk much, I’m a driver by trade.
My last two pairs were similar and the first pair cracked across the sole making them unwearable.
If fitville sorted it’s soles then they’d be on to a winner.
I bought these after discovering Asics Gel Venture running shoes in a 4E width and that experience means only 4E will do now – solved so many foot pain issues. I run and walk a lot so those Asics are superb. Price wise these are, at full price, similar to the Asics but would say the Fitvilles don’t quite live up the same quality and functional design detailing of Asics. These get a huge thumbs up for width and arch support built in but I would describe these as general footwear and not sports shoes. The main reasons would be – the fit is a little loose (ironically width) around the arch area of the foot, the heal fit is also a tad too flat so doesn’t fit snuggly to my heal shape. The final issue is the lacing and tongue. The tongue isn’t separate to the sides – more like a slip on – so limits the tightening up. The lacing holes fall short in distance at the ankle compared to most sport specific shoes. This results in a too loose fit around the ankle for running or any sport – in my opinion and for my desired fit – everyone is different. I would recommend these as wide fit daily footwear but not sports shoes. A real plus for Fitville is the arch support and stock wide fitting that are available. My reason for not simply re ordering Asics comes down to the usual issue with specialist sports brands – they never seem to either have stock or keep the range consistent.
