Going camping as a family of four in a Ford Fiesta is definitely a tight squeeze! But this roof bag is a game-changer! It’s affordable, wonderfully spacious, and the perfect space-saving option. We easily fitted it onto our car, even without roof bars or racks. Plus, it folds away into its own neat, little bag. We tested it on a long, rainy drive, and the contents stayed dry! Just a heads-up: the rain drips through the straps into the car, but nothing a paper towel can’t fix. Highly recommend.
I brought this for a recent family visit to France. I was a little skeptical but thought it worth a go. I’ve been pleasantly surprised at how well it worked! First set-up took 10 mins to fathom out but since then it’s been on and off half a dozen times and it’s very easy to set up and get off. Waterproofing hasn’t really been tested but it did survive a light shower. When away, it’s very convenient to take off and pack away for the week (can’t really do that with a roof box). I’ve had 2 x 20kg large holdalls in it plus a few bits. The 2 zip heads can be secured with a padlock. MPG was down about 10%, which I thought reasonable.
The only downside is leaving kit in it overnight as I believe its contents could be stolen very easily. A top box would be more secure. Hence 4 stars. That aside, I would definitely recommend. Great value for money.

I bought two as I was worried there wouldn’t be enough space (I used them on top of a Volvo XC90). In all honestly I have used them both but that’s because I am an over packer. So easy to use and lots of room in them. We drove from the north west to France and no issues at all. The only down side to these are you need to removed them if leaving the vehicle, as they are so easily removed and could be stolen, but saying that, once we had everything where we wanted, it was only a 5 min job. We emptied the bags into the car and just reloaded it the next day. We did hit some rain on the journey and everything was dry inside. Would recommend these 100% and having to remove the bags at night is worth it as the price of a solid box is much much higher.
I recently had to drive over 100 miles in the rain with the roof bag full. Upon arriving home I took the things out that I had in there and everything was bone dry.

Going away in a couple of weeks and have an older mini with flush racks so I needed something that would be ok without rack use. I have 2 kids and 2 dogs coming with me! I did a trial run today and was very easy to put together and did not use the instructions as simple to do. Took less than 15 minutes
Seems thick and well made, and a good price, so will see when we venture out with it soon.
Really great product, fitted perfect on my KIA sportage, easy to install, large space, great idea for a car without rails, better to store than a large box. Well happy with item, defo recommend item.
