Needed a cable to connect my new printer and this one is excellent. It’s long enough to reach from the shelf to my laptop without any problem. The cable itself is very well made. Would recommend. Excellent value!
This is a great lead. I have this one on my Desktop Mic, and the quality is amazing. It looks amazing and the quality of the connector is clear. I think you should always get the best possible leads ( without over paying of course). This is great and recommended.
These days most printers are either CAT5 or wifi networked but more often than not you need a wired USB connection to make the initial setup. This is the first time I’ve seen a USB C to USB B printer cable so an excellent addition to any carry bag.
The construction is solid, aluminium casings and perfect fit strain relief going to a two metre cable with a velcro cable tie to keep everything tidy.
The labelling says 100% tested and as this cable worked 1st time I have no reason to doubt that.
I don’t test speed as that has too many variables but this cable does exactly what it is meant to do.
I bought this to replace an old USB A to USB B cable which had been damaged. In any case, I really needed the computer end to be USB C. It is a very rugged and well-made cable. It’s a snug fit at the USB B end, but not alarmingly so.
Arrived quickly and works perfectly. I had a new macbook and the terminals were different. My old printer still works well , this so saved me having to buy a new printer for my new MacBook and throwing away a perfectly good printe
The USB B to USB C Printer Cable has proven to be a reliable and efficient solution for connecting my printer to various devices. Here’s why this cable stands out:
The generous 2-meter length provides ample flexibility in positioning my printer, allowing me to set it up conveniently without being restricted by cable length. This has been particularly useful in creating an organized and user-friendly workspace.
The USB Type B to USB C compatibility ensures versatility, making it suitable for a wide range of devices, including printers from brands like HP, Canon, Epson, and Lexmark. I’ve successfully used it with my MacBook Pro, iMac, XPS, ASUS laptops, and other USB C-equipped devices.
The braided nylon construction adds durability and resilience to the cable. It not only protects against wear and tear but also resists tangling, contributing to a neat and tidy workspace. The reinforced connectors further enhance the cable’s longevity.
The high-speed data transfer capabilities of USB 2.0 ensure efficient and fast communication between my devices and the printer. I’ve experienced consistent and reliable performance when printing documents or transferring files.
The secure connection and stable data transfer make this cable an essential accessory for anyone who relies on a printer in their daily tasks. The cable’s compatibility with a variety of devices makes it a versatile addition to my tech accessories.
In conclusion, the USB B to USB C Printer Cable has met and exceeded my expectations. Its generous length, compatibility with different devices, durable construction, and reliable performance make it an excellent choice for those seeking a high-quality printer cable. Highly recommended for a seamless printing experience across various devices.
It is a printer cable and it has so far done the job perfectly with a Brother all in one printer. Length is sufficient for my purposes and would reach other devices if unplugged too, such as switching between laptop and PC if quickly needed to print something without sharing the document over network etc. First time I have ever owned a braided printer cable and it means it is more flexible than typical printer cables, so pleased with that too. The connectors also seem to be of high quality build. Value is decent.
The 2-meter length is perfect, providing ample distance between my devices without compromising signal strength. It’s compatible with my MacBook Pro, making it incredibly versatile for all my USB-C devices. The data transfer speed is noticeably fast and efficient, which is a huge plus for my work productivity. I’m also impressed with the build quality; the nylon braided design not only looks sleek but also ensures durability. The gold-plated connectors provide a stable connection, which is crucial for uninterrupted printing and scanning. This cable is a must-have for anyone looking to streamline their USB-C enabled devices with their printers or scanners.
USB B to USB C Printer Cable 2Mtr.
I’ll keep this quite simple, NOw that the majority of systems are om USB-C it’s nice to be able to use the old school connections into the new systems.
So for me, being able to use my multiport USB hub plugged into my USB-C port on my desktop has made transfer somewhat quicker.
A nice little upgrade. The cable itself is braided and feels of good quality. I feel no reason to give this any negativity, so 5 stars all the way.
I didn’t get this cable for my printer as I normally print via wifi. However I have an XTool laser engraver that although it works with wifi, it sometimes fails to engrave the full item due to communication errors. This means that engraving on wood that has been worked on for several hours is now ruined. SO I need a reliable method of transferring the data to my laser engraver. I tested this cable with a couple of small items and it worked perfectly. I now fully trust it for all of my creation, some of which are several hundred pounds worth items that if it went wrong would need to be thrown away. So my reason for telling you this is that I trust this cable fully I have tested it and relied on it now for a few weeks without a single blip, unlike the cable that came with the laser. I have a new Mac Book Pro with USB-C and the laser printer has USB-B so this cable is the correct fir. I don’t think there is any point in posting pictures of a cable with this review all readers who need a USB-C to USB-B know what the cable looks like. The only other explanation or information you need it that the cable is braided so longevity should not be a problem. It should not fray or split like non braided cables do. The cable itself is a shielded cable thus protected from interference which is a good thing for me. SO inSummary a reliable good quality cable at a reasonable price. If I trust it on my woodwork creations then printing is a breeze. Highly recommended..

I recently updated my MacBook Air and needed a USB C cable for my printer, this is ideal and does the job at a reasonable cost. The cable seems like it will be durable and when my Air Printer plays up I can now plug my printer in and have no issues.
Despite advances in technology sometimes the old fashioned way of having a cable is the only fall back.
Review of GERETIN USB B to USB C Printer Cable 2Mtr,
The cable received a 2 metre long nylon braided design with 1 x Type “C” and 1 x Type “B” connector both encapsulated in an aluminium body with gold plated connections, a strong flexible cable boot is attached to connectors to prevent severe bending. The cable feels and looks well made, both connectors when inserted into their respective sockets make a good positive connection.
Personally I am using this cable for connection to an older printer and scanner, this useful as it is not always possible to set-up even new equipment by WiFi or Blue-tooth so direct cable connection a good fall back alternative still fitted to some branded peripherals.
In use we are told this high speed due to the Type “C” connector however with older equipment one has to plod at their speed of the Type “B” installed, this not a problem and acceptable as I am just grateful to be able to use a modern laptop program with an expensive and still usable A3 printer which utilizes seven refillable cartridges at a very high Dpi output, the updated drivers usually available with branded products
This cable works extremely well, it is preferable to WiFi due to printer high Dpi output and scanner high Dpi input, wireless can sometimes drop packets of data loosing time and creating additional cost, this cable also benefits from good resistance to interference, is flexible and at 2 metres is ideal in length.
An excellent addition to one’s arsenal of differing cables to fit bygone era equipment that is to good to scrap, or even set-up new high definition peripherals to be certain of received or transmitted data quality.
I needed a reliable means of connecting to my printer, given that my wife printer just decides to stop working whenever i need to most. To add further problems my new laptop only USB C ports, so to use my existing cable I’m constantly having to get the USB C hub out. As you can imagine this makes printing a much more laborious task than it needs to be.
I found the Geretin USB C to USB B cable a perfect match for my requirements. The cable arrived promptly and is very good quality, given that it’s braided, with moulded connectors on each end. The cable is supplied with a very handy Velcro strap in case you do not need to utilise the full length. The cable feels like good quality and durable.
The cable was connected to my printer and then plugged into my laptop, it worked faultlessly just as i need! It’s really given me confidence when i need top print. Given the cable is 2m in length i have enough space to then connect my laptop comfortable without trying to stretch the cable or put my laptop into awkward positions.
I’m sure the cable has other uses but i can confirm that it works well as a printer to USB C cable. It’s priced at 8 which is great value for money at just 4 a m, most cables even for 1m in length around similarly priced. Overall it’s good value for money and i can recommend.
Having recently opened up a few USB “bootlace” cables I wasn’t expecting high quality as many are just cheap, unshielded cable underneath the fancy nylon braid. This cable took me by surprise, as it’s not just shielded, it’s double-shielded (braid over foil). The shield is only connected at the USB-C end of the cable, but this can be a good thing as it can eliminate ground loops.
The review photos show a connection test using a Treedix cable tester, and a second test with the cable carefully sliced to expose the metal braid, showing that the shield is connected to the plug and not just for show.
I’m now using it to connect an Epson V330 scanner to a spare USB-C port on my PC. The extra length over the 1.8m original is handy and it frees up a USB-A port for other uses. Fantastic.
USB-C is the new standard that is popping up everywhere. Even Apple have had to give in and put it on the latest iPhones, ditching their beloved Lightning connector.
Standard size USB-B on the other hand seems to have been around for ever (actually 1996, if a famous Internet encyclopaedia is to be believed). This two-meter leads connects the two and is a useful addition to any “leads” box even if a current use is not immediately obvious. Legacy hardware in the form of printers, scanners and external hard drives will need connecting to modern computers sporting USB-C sockets and little else. When you get this you will have the lead – good luck getting the drivers!
The quality of this lead does not hark back to the stiff beige plastic “printer” cables of the past. The nylon braided wire is flexible and the plugs are covered in smart matt grey anodised aluminium with substantial strain relief glands.
