Great toy for car rides! My 4 year old enjoys it, but the pen did break off the side holder within a couple months – only a matter of time till it’s lost in the toy room abyss.
Good product which works well. I wanted something a bit bigger than a kid’s toy (also without rainbow colours) and this is a good solution. I’m using it to learn Japanese charecters and it’s proving to be very helpful.
Great purchase! My son loves the large screen and how easy it is to carry around! The picture shows up colors and vibrant. The only thing I wish is for a way to attach a string to the pad so my son doesn’t lose his pen that easily. Yes it his a slot on the side where the side of the pen can slide into the groove, but often times my son forgets that the slot is there and misplaces his pen. Other than that, I would buy this pad again.
This is a good writing tablet. Bought this for my husband as an idea board. He uses it every day. And it has been tested by our toddler in harsh conditions and survived
Our 5yo LOVES to draw. We have a drawing easel at home where he’s sits and draws throughout the day and our kiddo often asks to bring it with us. This drawing board has been great on the go. We take it to big brothers sporting events, restaurants, long car trips – it’s been a lifesaver. Also love that the pencil clips onto the board instead of being on a coiled cord. While those are good for not losing the pencil they can be a nuisance while drawing. Great board. We’ll buy it again if needed.
This was a Christmas gift for a six year old who loves to draw. It was a big hit. Upon unwrapping it, she immediately began drawing with it. She loves this tablet and her parents like that a number of drawings can be saved and stored in the memory. It’s gratifying to know how happy this gift made her feel. Worth every cent I paid for it.
This cool-looking tablet has a nice screen and shows very vibrant pictures. I like that is a tool for doodling and preparing children to write. It comes with a good pen. This tablet is lightweight and very easy to use. My grandson loves to write on it and share his pictures. This is good for time spent with kids while bonding. I recommend it!
There is nothing to dislike about this tablet. While it makes them feel high tech, they don’t sit there in a trance like on an Apple or other tablet. They actually are drawing, learning their number or letters and using their imagination. I would highly recommend this for anyone, especially those with 3 year olds and up.
We have 2 of these for homeschooling and to keep my youngest entertained in the car. We have had smaller single color versions that she liked, but the multicolor on these made them more fun for her. How I use them in homeschool: as an alternative to a whiteboard, for her to practice handwriting, to show demonstrations in math or making venn diagrams etc. When not being used for school she just draws pictures or writes stories and notes on them for me. It’s cute.
Much larger than the first ones that came out (approx 8 inches) and even larger than most of the current ones (approx 12 inches). Really a pleasure to work on. Writing and drawing are so smooth. Fun and helps with anxiety too. All of the buttons work and the 2 styluses attach to the sides. (If you are giving it to kids, I would suggest hiding one stylus just in case.) There are three main colors and while they could be more vivid, they’re calming and peaceful to work with. In photos, the colors appear brighter. The other thing I like about this particular model is that the back is textured with a pattern so it’s less likely to slide around or off a table or lap.
My kid loves it. That’s really all that matters. I wish it was a little brighter myself. It’s kind of dull when you write on it, it doesn’t really pop….but he loves it.
It’s hard to find something that the kids will continue to play with, and this is one of those hard to find things.
It’s impressively able to handle being stepped on, walked on, dropped, etc. and it still works very well
This LCD tablet is very simple and easy to use. The main reason for getting it was to give our 2yo daughter an opportunity to draw and exercise her creativity without making a mess with ink and wet materials, specially in the car as we’re prepping for a long road trip and need some options to keep her entertained.
The screen is quite sensitive, to the point one can use even the tip of the nails (fingers) to draw in it. It will be responsive to pretty much any kind of stylus pen. I couldn’t feel too much variation or sensitivity regarding the amount pressure you apply on it. It’s not that easy to pull out strokes of different thicknesses from varying the pressure.
Bear in mind the brightness of the screen in the photos advertising the product is a bit deceiving. It is not much of a problem for the use we do, but the actual screen is not really that bright.
The weight is very light despite of the large 15 inch size, by the way.
As I mentioned, it has survived our toddler’s use so far, so I’d consider it quite resistant to drops on the floor and scratches.
I miss it having a possibility to tie the stylus to the tablet itself as other similar products do. The pen can be attached to the side of the tablet for storage, but when in use, the pen is completely dettached and could be easily lost.
It would be nice to have some kind of “memory” to store the screens because after you click the erase button, whatever information or design that was there is gone for good. I’ve accidentally clicked on the erase button a few times and it was quite frustrating to loose the “work” completely. But then I don’t know of any tablet of this kind that actually has any type of memory to store at least a few screens. A solution to mitigate the accidental erase would be a better positioned erase button.
All in all, the tablet is performing well and being very entertaining to our kid.
These LCD writing tablets are such a great option for so many activities. There are lots of writing and drawing games we all know, and this is so much more convenient than a whiteboard and countless markers. There’s no mess if the child drops the stylus in your car. The lock feature ensures they don’t accidentally erase their masterpiece.
These are just solid, fun, and versatile options for you and your family. Haha, I sound like some weird commercial, but rest assured that you really won’t be disappointed.
I suppose this could be classified as a toy. But it is FAR more than that.
I got seriously tired of having piexec of paper all over the kitchen, a note here, a phone number there, several shopping lists here, that I started, did not complete. Then I saw this little gem. Even though it is presented as a kid’s toy, it now is a centralized spot for phone numbers, lits, etc. I’m going to find (or clear) a spot on the kitchen wall so that my wife and I can remember that its there and start to use that, instead of note paper and scaps of old mail. Great idea, well executed and, as you will see, priced really low!
I got those just so my son would not right all over my furniture with the markers and crayons but there’s did not do the trick for me it might work for others but it just didn’t work for me he liked it but then he got bored of it in two days and just passed away maybe it’s just my kid ha ha
We have used other similar boards earlier too but this one is very stylish and much bigger.
My daughter uses it for drawing, playing Pictionary , little word games and enjoys it. The colorful board is the best gift for little ones. The lock feature helps with accidental erasing while drawing.
The side pen holder is very sleek and bigger size board makes it very useful. I would recommend it to everyone.
