Had an old 1990s sports car for a while but the battery died and needed jump started each time I wanted to start the car. The car takes a lot of juice to start and this managed to do it, multiple times. Can’t say enough how life saving this jump starter was.

5.0 out of 5 stars Will start anything

This little bad boy is brilliant. It will start you. It’s started my son’s canal boat from flat over and over. He as a big Diesel engine like me. You need to keep it charged. Great bit of kit.

Great product and very easy to use. Step by step instructions on what to do that anyone can follow. They are also printed on the leads so you don’t lose them. After jump startering a car the charger lost 1% charge. A great piece of kit to have in your car just incase!

I really happy with this product and have used it a few times already as I have an undiagnosed battery drain issue with my car which means this is the only way I can start the engine. The boost function has also proved a massive benefit if the battery is completely drained.
The peace of mind having this in the car on journeys far outweighs the reasonable cost of the item.

This is an excellent battery booster. I have used it a few times on my classic mini which is not used a great deal. I had an issue with the booster not charging ,so contacted the Grepro and it was replaced straight away. Excellent customer service from Grepro. Thanks

Really handy little piece of equipment to have in your car or garage, came charged already and I’m keeping it in my boot as I am short on space at home. A piece of mind item for a woman living alone as it gives a bit of independence without needing help or messy jump leads.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersGot a new car so the old one sat on the drive for a few weeks, neglected. Went to start it – couldn’t even open the doors…

Get this little buddy out, hooked it up (dead simple), turned the key and WAHEY!!! Instant karma baby!

This little gizmo sat in its box for a month or more, me thinking ‘I might need that one day’ – and today was that day. Unboxed it, turned it on (99% charge still), read the simple instructions and bam! Job’s a good ‘un.

I was amazed that it worked first time, no fuss. The charge dropped from 99% to 91% which then took about 15 minutes to get back to 99% again.

I can’t see how anyone wouldn’t want one of these. They’re brilliant.

The unit itself has a quality feel and does all the other jobs like USB charging and has a bog-standard torch built in (handy if you get caught short in the dark I guess?). It comes with a nicely made pouch that keeps everything neat and tidy and an instruction book that sits in there too.

    Buy one.

Was a bit dubious at first as there are so many of these jump starter power packs on the market but must say very impressed.
Have used the unit a few times and it done the job brilliantly also charged a phone and a couple of other rechargeable items with ease.
Always have it in the van you never know when you’ll need it.

Got this bit of kit from the advice of my friend who in fact paid double the price from another seller. My car last month didn’t start after being left at the airport. Last week the same happened (will need a new battery now) but as an emergency starter I thought I’d give it a go. After taking the charger with me to maintain the charge for use. It started my car in seconds. So definitely recommend

Bought this to start my wife’s Beetle which has been standing for 6 months. Battery totally dead and wouldn’t even jump start or charge up. Connected this device and it fired up straight away, amazing! Also my friends 2.2 litre SUV was flat, again it fired up straight away once connected. Recommended this to three of my friends who are now going to purchase one. Highly recommended.

This has saved my bacon many times! I would say that everyone should have one of these in their car. A lifesaver when your car doesn’t start on cold and frosty mornings! The torch is good and handy too. I haven’t tried it as a power bank for my phone yet but it’s nice to know I can if I need it.
    Very happy.

Item arrived on time, and although I haven’t used it yet, seems to be made well and overall good quality.
It’s a handy size, everything fits into the bag supplied, and I expect it will do the job it’s designed for very well.

It’s a great product. I hardly use my car as I’m out of work at the moment.
So it just sits there and the battery always gets flat.
I was tired of pulling out the batter to trickle charge it.
The first time I used the jump pack I didn’t have my glasses on and didn’t see the tiny boost button and the car refused to start.
So I went back indoors and checked the instructions, it mentions the boost button but fails to show you where it is.
A quick Youtube video later and I was back at the car and after pressing the boost button the car started.
The first time I used the charger, the pack drained to 78%.
Today when I used it, the charge remained at 100% so there is clearly more charge in the car’s battery.
Overall a great product, let down very slightly by unclear instructions.
    Well worth the money though.

Bought a few weeks ago and had to use for the first time yesterday. Came fully charged, stayed fully charged, easy to follow instructions, easy to use, car started with no issue after the car’s battery went flat. Device recharged quickly at home. Recommended to have one in your car, just in case!

So that dreaded moment hit yesterday.
I had an important appointment to get to, got in the car, and instead of hearing the car start up, I just heard ticktickticktickticktick…… NO! I didn’t leave my lights on!! WHY ARE YOU DEAD?!?! Come on start!! turn the key again… ticktickticktick… sometimes theres ‘JUST’ enough charge that if you try it a few times, it’ll start! But alas. NO!
Turned the key… NOTHING! no sound! No intrument lights! Couldn’t even lock my car with teh fob! the battery was DEAD!!! Nothing left in it!

So, I bought this ‘jump starter’

    It came fully charged.
Hooked it up to the battery… Green light was flashing… Pushed the ‘BOOST’ button and saw it ticking down from 99%.
    QUICK! Into the car!
Turned the key and the engine started tickticktickticktick… Damn! It didn’t work!
Got out the car, check the battery pack and it said 60%
Insturctions said that it wont work to jump a car under 60%. So I thought I’d give it one last try…

    IT STARTED!!!

I don’t think it struggled to start the car.. maybe it did… or maybe the battery was so dead! It needed to charge/boost it a little more! But it works!

I would receomend this to anyone reading through the comments. 😀

So took the car out for a nice LONG drive!

Got home and the battery pack said 59% so I put it on charge, and it only took and hour to get back up to 99%

    My only complaint is…
Same as most things these days… It charges via USB-C, with an included cable! But no USB plug! I can buy a plug for what? A 1? How much would it cost a manufacturer to include a USB plug? pennies…
Technically not an issue and it certainlly dosen’t affect the device! just a would be nice……

From home to work is a 10-15minute drive and I work either four days or four nights, with a few days off in between.
A couple of weeks ago, I attempted to go to work but my Hybrid 12v battery was flat. Like 7.9v flat.
The only way I could possibly start my car, was to get a regular car battery charger, put the positive clip on the positive terminal in the fuse box and the negative clip onto my engine. Left it for a couple of minutes and the car started straight away.

I decided that I needed a quicker way than running a 15m extension through my window, then the charger to my car yada yada.

Looked a few Battery Boosters and bought this one. Today, it saved me twice in one day.

Got in my car this morning, 12v battery not completely dead but not enough to start it. So, I got this battery booster out of my boot, attached the positive lead to terminal in fuse box and the negative end to the engine. Light was flashing green. So, pressed the boost button and my car started.

So, again, 10minute journey to work at 5:45am and arrived on time. Excellent.
Come home time, battery flat again as it didn’t get sufficient charge due to everything on in the car. Booster was still at 100% and again, started my car first time.

So, this is why I call this, “My New Best Friend”, as it done its job flawlessly.

Would I recommend this product? Most definitely, without hesitation.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThe unit arrives with VERY clear instructions that it required to be fully charged before use, yet at first unpackaging it is at 100% charged. This is surprising as given the size of the lithium battery and postal/courier restrictions I would have expected the packaging to have conveyed the lithium content within. However, it was received in plain packaging.

To “use” the unit it’s easy and the instructions simple if printed a little on the small side for old eyes or the darkness at the side of a road in an emergency.

To boost a totally dead battery you have to push a tiny, recessed button much like a “reset” button on electronics, yet you’re not provided with any tool to do this. I had to use my only available metal nail, being very unsure if I would break the unit or receive an electric shock!

The unit does work very well to boost and start my dead battery car, plus is well packaged to be kept in the car for future emergencies. The instructions say it needs to be recharged a minimum of every 3months if not used/discharged, more frequently of course if used.

A very short USB2 to USB-C cable is included and the unit “input” is labelled as 5V, 2A …but what do you use or where do you normally get 5V/2A around a UK domestic property?

Most of my current charging points, or USB computer outputs are either 5V/1A or 5V/2.4A …is it critical that the input amperage is exactly 2A…?

Given the many recent incidents of lithium batteries exploding due to incorrect charging methods and incorrect charging amperage I’m surprised that a unit so powerful comes wth really no instructions at all as to how to recharge it in the home? Is there a fire risk to my charging it through a USB port rated at 5V/2.4A?

Am I at risk as a result of purchasing this item.

Golden Review Award: 16 From Our UsersHaving recently had some battery (which then developed into regulator/rectifier and from there into burnt out alternator) problems with my road bike, I bought this just in case it happened again, or to use with my motor mower and anything else that could go flat.

The unit comes on a very nice carry case that fits the battery and the connectors, as well as the charging cable and the printed instructions which are pretty clear. The unit is not exactly light, but it’s very compact and solid, build quality appears good.

Whilst I wasn’t able to test this on my 675cc Triumph Street Triple (as it was fixed) I have a 200cc single cylinder AJP off road bike with a depleted battery (lighting the instrument panel but no other sign of life, not taking a charge).

With this very depleted battery hooked up to the GREPRO (indicated by the green light), the engine turned over straight away, and fired very quickly. The GREPRO charge drops quickly from 100% to 75% to 60%. I think there would be enough power to get you going again, you wouldn’t want to keep trying to use it, but it’s enough to get you running and make it home or to a garage.

By the way, if you misconnect the battery then the curcuit protection kicks in so it is pretty safe and straightforward (less scary than using a car to jump start).

I can also confirm that the charging function works perfectly, and that the charge speed for the battery is reasonable, but not lightning fast. The torch is pretty modest but enough to give you a bit of light to work by in an emergency.

On this basis I think this little device is a great buy that I hope I never have to use again!

Golden Review Award: 11 From Our UsersIncredible for its size and price. Not wanting to wait for an emergency before I find out if it works or not, I tried this out as a power bank first and it only charged my phone once, so almost ready to send it back there and then. Drained the battery of a 650 motorbike down to only 7.5 volts, connected earth via a bolt as space is tight for clips, and it made no difference, and did not start. Reconnected direct to battery, making sure I had a good connection and Wow, it started perfectly. Shut it off, connected it again, started it again just the same. Used 1% of the battery pack. I fitted an old drained battery to my 1.7L deisel car for the next test. Voltage showing 9.5, so pretty much as low as the electronics in the car will allow it to go. Connected, press boost, and no joy, but now the power pack shows 75%. Tried again, and the engine turned over, but too slow. About to give up, and see that the car battery voltage now reads 11.4. This time I gave it a boost again, and the car started straight away.
    So in summary as a:
USB Powerbank- TBF this is not really a function thats useful to me, and I wouldn’t be using the power in the pack to charge a phone and then leaving myself unable to jump start my bike or car with it in the event of an issue, which really is the main reason for having it. Best to have a separate dedicated powerbank.

Jump starter for a motorbike- YES, perfect. It doesn’t take up a lot of luggage space, and could really get me out of a situation while touring.

Jump Starter for your car- given the size of it, and my new knowledge of building up the power a couple of times before starting, I’d say YES to that too, but might be better suited to smaller cars.
