At last – a vacuum cleaner that sucks, but in a good way.
Easy to use but not on stairs and good at it’s job.
Worth the money. (Or potentially spend around the same on a Henry Hoover and spend the rest of time complaining about it)
Hoover have surpassed the upright vacum cleaner market with this new model, I have 3 dogs and was surprised at the amount of extra hair it picked up.
It is easy to manoeuvre from hard floors to carpets, push a couple of buttons to use as a stand alone vacum for stairs.
Without wanting to sound too dramatic, this is absolutely the best hoover I have ever owned. Its cleaning capability is amazing, it is light, the barrel opens both ends for easy emptying. It’s very easy to manoeuvre, has settings for hard floor or carpet and it has headlights!!! Okay, the headlights aren’t exactly the main selling point, but it just completes the fabulousness of this little machine!
Our Dyson suddenly packed up, probably a switch malfunction but the necessary spares were no longer available from either Dyson or ESpares. Needed a replacement urgently and didnt have time to do any meaningful research but saw the HL4 highly recommended by Good Housekeeping so decided to give it a go. Yes, it has good suction, is relatively light and easy to push around but it has some drawbacks. The head is relatively small requiring more strokes to clean a given area, the brush does not sweep edge to edge, meaning we have to get on our hands and knees to properly clean the edges, the power cable is shorter than that I am used to and there is no brush for sweeping furniture surfaces included in the tools. Can we live with it? Time will tell!
As someone who struggles with ocd finding a good hoover was a nightmare. I recently had a wireless one and the suction after a few months was rubbish . This is a little bulky but I’ve had worse it does the job with very good suction-
Only downside – one of the attachments broke but hoover kinder are sending me a new one as it broke not long after purchase
